@virginmedia You couldn't make this incompetence up - had another call, chasing 2 mths costs for a phone not used in over 2 yrs, unable to cancel via website or previous Twitter conversation, and then cuts me off. It's a mthly sim only, if I don't use it don't charge me - simples.

  • ilsonnut43 adrian dilks (@ilsonnut43) reported from Ilkeston, England

@virginmedia why is my wifi so poor when I pay for the top bracket of broadband,my router is always cutting out ,really really fed up with it ?

  • breadf2man Fazal Rehman (@breadf2man) reported from Loughborough, England

@virginmedia The other issue your engineer was in yesterday surely he would have checked these things out ? Personally i dont think he was very experienced or didnt know how to do his job properly.

  • NikkiPearman Nikki Pearman 💙 (@NikkiPearman) reported from Loughborough, England

@virginmedia I have an issue with my wifi signal being weak upstairs - until last 2 mths it was perfectly fine. However it’s impossible to speak with anyone - I don’t want the automated system or a broadband check as service is fine it’s just range. Unhappy customer

  • NikkiPearman Nikki Pearman 💙 (@NikkiPearman) reported from Loughborough, England

@virginmedia That’s my problem. I can’t get to speak to a person and your automated system doesn’t allow me to discuss the issue properly.

  • gaz_smith123 Gareth Smith (@gaz_smith123) reported from Ilkeston, England

@virginmedia have you got problems in area 30? My connection keeps dropping out!

@virginmedia @virginmedia so not only have virgin hiked my bill to £49.00... I’ve had no phone line for 12 months.. it cost me over £4.00 on my mobile to phone them. How does that work Virgin? Appalling service.

  • breadf2man Fazal Rehman (@breadf2man) reported from Loughborough, England

@virginmedia Nothing that springs to mine, but ive never known it to constantly drop off, some of the reasons the operators are giving me are silly and I told the lady it was rubbish.. im sorry but I am fed up of ringing every day and getting nowhere. I think i will have to move broadband

  • _teecarts tia carter🥑 (@_teecarts) reported from Eastwood, England

  • GodberKen Ken Godber (@GodberKen) reported from Annesley, England

@virginmedia hi - I have a sim only mobile contract that's not been used for at least 18mths. I've stopped the DD as I'm unable to simply cancel via website and the number quoted to call doesn't work. I've got nowhere to go with this problem now.

  • rigg0o RIGGO (@rigg0o) reported from Eastwood, England

Class when you wanna cancel @virginmedia and the gobshite operater cant get it in her thick skull and barraging you with other shite deals to then put the phone down. Times must be hard for mr branson, please liquidate.

@virginmedia helping out my 74 year old mother, when she resigned with you at Christmas, you also promised to send out a new V6 box, it never arrived, I chased this up and then you sent an older TiVo box. I spoke to the guy and he told me they're the same !?

  • activist84 gerisays (@activist84) reported from Beeston, England

When you’re on the phone to @virginmedia to sort a broadband issue get placed on “hold” while the customer advisor “speaks to a colleague” to be informed the offices are now closed! Absolutely appalling customer service!!! And still haven’t sorted the issue 🙄🙄🙄🙄

  • 64derby paul (@64derby) reported from Duffield, England

@virginmedia just installed virgin broadband 350 today ! only getting 5 mbps in my study.. phoned customers services for a booster to be told none in stock and phone back in 2 weeks.. took me over an hour to speak to a person in India who couldn’t help

  • deb_the_dj Deborah Marshall 💙 (@deb_the_dj) reported from Sandiacre, England

@virginmedia It drops out for a few minutes, then restarts, there is nothing I can see on your service page that helps with that. I'll try the factory reset, its the only thing I haven't tried.

  • dergal Gerry White SEO geek (@dergal) reported from Ashby-de-la-Zouch, England

    @virginmedia I tried - I assume it doesn't work on a mobile!?

@virginmedia @Virgin Not at all… getting text messages that the collection bag will be delivered to our address. Only issue - address referenced in text message is NOT our address. over 1h back & forth and STILL. This is probably the wildest GDPR issue ever identified.

  • Rogerwoods22 Roger Woods (@Rogerwoods22) reported

The adviser could offer no way round this even though I offered to send a copy of the PoA at once. So I can’t cancel the package and yet the bank will set up a Direct Debit arrangement because I used my PoA to do so. Get a grip Virgin Media. I may cancel and stay with UW!
