  • ASJPhotography
Alexandra Johnson (@ASJPhotography) reported from Coalville, England

@virginmedia have to be the MOST unhelpful when it comes to customer service. I’ve been going round and round and round for an issue your technical engineer has already highlighted!!!!

  • WieMenHo
Wie-Men Ho (@WieMenHo) reported from Lichfield, England

@virginmedia Again, why is it so complicated. Designed to frustrate the customer and so they stick with the more expensive package. Your team member could not understand my basic request, which is very concerning. Listen back to the call. Play it to @ofcom they have my consent to listen to it

  • ketheridge71
Kim Etheridge (@ketheridge71) reported from Lichfield, England

Hi @virginmedia just tried to take up the £99 ultimate oomph bundle only to be quoted £140!! Can’t log in when I try to purchase online help needed please 🤔

  • Paul_Reviews
Paul Moore (@Paul_Reviews) reported from Burntwood, England

@kinoshitajona @ScottMcGready @SCwithGin @virginmedia @NCSC @troyhunt @PWTooStrong Agreed, neither are secure and should never be used... however it's certainly possible to make an unbreakable MD5 password.

  • SketchXZ
SketchXZ (@SketchXZ) reported from Burntwood, England

Sorry stream was cut short @virginmedia decided it was gna go down 🖕 #twitch #internetproblems

  • Paul_Reviews
Paul Moore (@Paul_Reviews) reported from Burntwood, England

@ScottMcGready @kinoshitajona @SCwithGin @virginmedia @NCSC @troyhunt @PWTooStrong Scott, we use the term "unbreakable" in the trade to imply the credentials cannot be broken in a timeframe which realistically presents a risk to the user... it's not an OED term. Sure, if we're talking to an end-user, you either use a different term or explain the meaning

  • sarjeantm01
Michael Sarjeant (@sarjeantm01) reported from Burton upon Trent, England

When you have a smart house and your @virginmedia #Wifi goes down so nothing is working 😳 now the kids are moaning at no tablets, @PlayStation or @xboxuk there is only so many times I can reboot the hub...... #internetdown

  • Paul_Reviews
Paul Moore (@Paul_Reviews) reported from Burntwood, England

@ScottMcGready @SCwithGin @virginmedia @NCSC @troyhunt @PWTooStrong Because "secure" requires a context which neither the OP nor yourself have given. 99% of my passwords are 12 chars, A-Z, a-z, 0-9. They're not being broken in my lifetime... so to claim 10 is sufficient to justify leaving is daft.

  • ryau3
Ron Yau (@ryau3) reported from Repton, England

@virginmedia Reboot will help for a while but have to stop all in the family who still have signal for streaming radio, Xbox or watching Tv on the TiVo every time. How inconvenient is this for all due to a @unreliable service provided by @virginmedia. Had many other issues before as well...

  • timmo1963
Tim Moore (@timmo1963) reported from Ashby-de-la-Zouch, England

Well @virginmedia my TiVo box is stuck in starting up mode (2 hours) and needs a technician, not available until Tuesday. Piss poor service and your telephone manner leaves a lot to be desired. Waiting for you to get in touch 🤬

  • timmo1963
Tim Moore (@timmo1963) reported from Ashby-de-la-Zouch, England

@BBCWatchdog Is it me or is @virginmedia really poor with customer service!!

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • NotEnoughTECH
    Mat ⚙️ (@NotEnoughTECH) reported

@justarieldotcom @virginmedia AI happened. Then no one cared about the service as long as DD was paid on time.

  • simmo1024
    Stanley Percival Simmonds (@simmo1024) reported

In addition, ISP have controls that block content. Virgin Media for example have a fairly fine-tunable system. If you go into any school of college, their internet is filtered. The technology exists to enable the bill payer to control internet access. But of course this is not, and never has been about protecting children, it is about digital ID.

  • jasoncainesmith
    Jason Caine Smith (@jasoncainesmith) reported

@virginmedia pathetic service!! I thought Sky were bad but this is disgusting! You send a new box out to an 83 year old man and expect him to install it and when by miracle his son manages to do this you don’t activate it from your end!! Several calls and you

  • KathyMi25429227
    Kathy Miller (@KathyMi25429227) reported

@virginmedia WiFi cutting out twice today and in last 2 days. Inconvenient at best. Why? Postcode says no issues..

  • bish_limbu
    Bish Limbu (@bish_limbu) reported

Thank you Virgin Media for upgrading my hub … for spotting issues with my old one unilaterally, and doing all for free!

  • debbsno1
    LovelifeLoveLowe (@debbsno1) reported

@TheGriftReport Virgin media have been ringing me a lot, I dont answer, as I can NEVER understand the call handler, theyre also very impatient and rude. I pay my bill via direct debit on time, everytime, so , unless I've a problem to report I simply dont put myself through it, too stressful.

  • aidan_codtello
    Aidan Costello (@aidan_codtello) reported

@virginmedia I still have not received a payment I should have received on referring my father to switch to Virgin and he should have had a payment too. Our broadband has been poor this week and I hope it will be better this week.

  • andy_rossiter76
    Andy Rossiter (@andy_rossiter76) reported

@virginmedia Who's bright idea was it to switch landline phones over to digital optic ?? We have the landline in the livingroom, but the internet hub is in the bedroom. Also when the internet goes down, will this mean the phone goes down too ??

  • noimspartakus
