There are going to be *weeks* of follow up at @virginmedia about how the hell they allowed their own status page to be tied to their infrastructure. Pretty useless if your status page goes down when you do.

@virginmedia your customer service is awful. Emma was damn right rude on the phone and cut me off on purpose. I suggest is retrained on customer service skills as she has none. There is no need to be patronising to a customer.

@virginmedia Finally get through and tell details - put you through to deactivation team. Fine, tell all details again. Now waiting to be put through to 'our house move team'! Sent back. Any chance of keeping me left after this nonsense. The easier it is to cancel, the more likely i'd stay.

@virginmedia What I do know is that if they fix it on the 29th I will have been receiving 4% of my "upgraded" speed and 6% of my old speed and will have been unable to watch most of the channels I'm paying for for over 40 days while paying over £130 a month.

@virginmedia Have called 6 times since morning explaining repeatedly the same thing. Not one person in ur customer support or your pre-install team seem to understand this. They are purposely disconnecting my calls now. I am fed up. Can u arrange an engineer or ask someone 2 call/DM me?

@virginmedia I’m getting a regular pop-up error message saying something about the signal, but the message doesn’t last long enough to read it so I don’t know exactly what the issue is. From my set top box. Any ideas?

Lee Daines
(@LeeDaines3) reported
@virginmedia Yes you are quite right, but this was never explained to me when I took out this contract. Having looked closer at the contract it is a bit misleading. As it states 18 months promotional contract, and then in a tiny font £10 off for a year. I am still disappointed.
