@GardenCity_Mark @virginmedia Just to let you know Mark, if your mom is considered vulnerable, the law now states that broadband companies must give priority for fixing issues like this, as it’s often their only or main form of communication. Just in case you encounter problems on Friday

@virginmedia Every time I see these adverts I just laugh, but the sad thing is it isn’t funny paying for a service that constantly disconnects, stutters or is generally inconsistent. Your latest ad slogan ‘stay connected’ is a joke, and your email security is archaic, it’s equally laughable.

Virgin Media goes down at least every two weeks. When customers are paying for a service, it should work.

@virginmedia Well nothing else can be done unless you decide to get an engineer out sooner rather than leaving it a week again with no service. Twice within a year isn't really a good standard to set
-
Patrick Campbell
(@pattersttv) reported
@virginmedia I checked maybe 5/10 minutes ago. On the website it says 24 hours (or check back for updates) and on the phone it says this is a highly complex issue which may take "time" to fix. Last time this happened (which is less than a month ago), it took 2 weeks to fix.

@virginmedia I've been promised the code by email, by SMS, within a week, within 10 working days, within 30 days, and then been told I have to call various numbers to ask for help, none of which actually help at all. It's probably cost me £100 in hours spent trying to sort it!

@virginmedia It’s not good customer service being booted off the phone after being sent the link. I had already tried to fix things myself and had spoken to a Technician who was in my area. She diagnosed failed HD which is the conclusion I had reached after investigating the error codes.

@virginmedia After the first called being ended after a website link was sent to me so I could try and fix things myself, I called back and now have a technician booked. I really don’t like having a call ended when I want to speak to someone. I knew it was the HD failing - which CS diagnosed.
