@virginmedia what is going on B31 5 still without Broadband & TV from 11am and now being told fix is 12pm tomorrow. I have been unable to work all day & now problem is going in to tomorrow. This is unacceptable & I hope refunds for loss of service will be applied to all accounts.

  • kolapoagunbiade
TheBosz (@kolapoagunbiade) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Unfortunately, you dont have a ticketing system or cobtact email to track issues, rather a phone system that requires you to wait forever to get through to an agent. A/c number: 095063606. I was charged x2.5 of what i was tp pay.

Satish Danny Paul (@________Danny) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia I called cust serv today after logging complaint on 26th Nov and hearing nothing back. cust serv asked me to request my data and voice calls. listen to it myself and then send proof of being missold a contract/virgin error, so virgin can then resolve the matter and complaint

  • mrmjprice
MJP - mastodonapp.uk/@mrmjprice (@mrmjprice) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Async live chat (WhatsApp) sucks as you let me text you with a problem, let it sit for hours, then close it down if I don’t reply within 5 mins and repeat. I’ll just ignore all the comms.

  • tr0y1291
Troy (@tr0y1291) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia the most unreliable service going! Sky should be rubbing their hands together knowing that this shower of **** is their main competition.

  • stumccullagh
Stuart McCullagh (@stumccullagh) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia But when a contract is agreed like a mortgage or a fixed energy deal surely the agreement should last the full term. I’ve had issues since September & been told I can’t leave due to being under a contract so why should my costs go up when I’ve got an agreement in place until Dec

@virginmedia haha you mean the same forum where they didn’t answer me for days last time, and they didn’t resolve anything???? waste of time. they told me to check the speed and check for area issues. absolutely awful customer service when i’ve been complaining about this for WEEKS now.

  • rachmadmank
Rachael Barker (@rachmadmank) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia What is the point I would like to speak to a human being shocking service Definitely will not be staying with you 4 weeks if not more with no information regarding this matter Not consideration for others

  • kevmaslin
Kev Maslin (@kevmaslin) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia The ideal resolution would have been for VM to return the document as originally promised. We have dealt with other companies in this regard and all have been prompt and professional. Even the DWP accepted a photocopy of the POA. Why VM couldn't is entirely beyond me.

  • stumccullagh
Stuart McCullagh (@stumccullagh) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia how can i speak to someone about my MOBILE account? my password doesn't work & your telling me my moms maiden name isnt correct!

  • BrianMCape
Brian Cape (@BrianMCape) reported from West Bromwich, England

Quite possibly the worst onboarding and customer 'care' experience I've EVER had @virginmedia Unfulfilled promises, failure to deliver contract as agreed and now I'm 'lost' in the system and being ignored. I'm left with no choice other than to 'out' you. #CaveatEmptor

  • richardcbishop
Richard C. Bishop 🏃‍♂️ (@richardcbishop) reported from West Bromwich, England

@Damien_Clyburn @virginmedia They're appalling. I've had business version for 10 years. BT never miss a beat. Outstanding. Get rid of them.

  • dansmurph
    Daniel Murphy (@dansmurph) reported

@DartingMelon @alexand979677 @virginmedia Easiest thing to do is phon them up and ask for a loss of service credit, they literally have to give you the money back. No need to wait for the ombudsman etc. you only really need that when your at the deadlock stage

  • Gram7070707070
    Gram (@Gram7070707070) reported

@Carolestfc1 @virginmedia Worst company I have ever dealt with and it's not even close. They'll screw your credit rating by mistake and never, ever fix it. They'll hang up on you, the staff don't put notes on accounts and you have to tell the same story to 20 different disinterested call centre staff.

  • swindon124759
    Swindon! (@swindon124759) reported

@virginmedia when I press the red button to access sky sports plus I no longer receive an error message. Has my box been successfully updated to fix this issue and I should now expect no further issues from this incident? Thanks @Virgin

  • The_real_Jambo_
    Jambo (@The_real_Jambo_) reported

@CliveR39 @virginmedia @Ofcom I lost tv service before the world cup started for 16 days, I was told I would recieve automatic compensation but didnt recieve any discount, had to raise a complaint and they told me they would offer £20 as goodwill gesture because I didn't have total loss of service.

  • chrissincl29564

@stephenm68 @virginmedia That is awful. Virgin media have really done down hill in looking after their customers. All they care about is customer acquisition

  • HannahJM1806
    HJM (@HannahJM1806) reported

@virginmedia @alexand979677 Yay, let’s all mess about trying to sign in to the app on your laptop, to find a HDMI cable, plugging that bugger in and then hoping to all things holy that it actually connects whilst missing the first half of the game you’re trying to watch as opposed to Virgin actually fix it!
