  • jamesbrown39 James DR Brown (@jamesbrown39) reported from Warwickshire, England

@Shafik32296732 @virginmedia It is down in CV34 as well. Before the service status site crashed it was saying it was expected a fix by 2200hrs this evening!!!

  • Samsmilew Samantha Worrall (@Samsmilew) reported from Warwickshire, England

@virginmedia trying to check service status update Ona local issue. No website access to do it, we have TV now but still no internet CV34 6? Can you help?

  • kevmaslin Kev Maslin (@kevmaslin) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia your treatment of us over a Lasting Power of Attorney issue has been appalling. Your people have actually SHREDDED a document costing hundreds of pounds despite us being told it had been returned. CISAS has been invoked and your CEO will be told . @MoneyTelegraph

  • zcobb Stephen Cobb, #FBPE 🇺🇦 (@zcobb) reported from Coventry, England

I just spent about 20 minutes trying to find out why I'm getting email from @virginmedia about a SIM that I didn't order. As far as I can tell, the email is legit and Virgin is sending me, and a lot of other people, a replacement SIM "to improve service." Did I miss a memo?

  • zcobb Stephen Cobb, #FBPE 🇺🇦 (@zcobb) reported from Coventry, England

Me: Can you tell your supervisor that this email looks a lot like a phishing email? Support Person @virginmedia: I know, a lot of people have said that.

  • EvanD Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia I’ve reordered twice already. The packaging never arrives

  • MutliRaceMan Jean Thierry 💙 (@MutliRaceMan) reported from Birmingham, England

@KellyQuilt @virginmedia Virgin are hopeless for ease of contact. My daughter was with them and the service wasn’t at all good. This nonsense about calling them at a time to suit them is just ludicrous. They need to admit that they (& others) don’t staff adequately to suit their customers convenience. 🤬

  • AntonyHowlett Antony Howlett (@AntonyHowlett) reported from Birmingham, England

@ChristineAllado @virginmedia I keep having this problem every week and nothing ever gets done and all you get back is we can't find a fault

  • all_day_ Mathew (@all_day_) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia hey guys whatever I try to play back or if I rewind live tv to play back the boxing is terrible so much so you’re unable to watch the programme. The wires are all connected fine and all other internet devices are fine. What’s the issue?

  • kevmaslin Kev Maslin (@kevmaslin) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia The ideal resolution would have been for VM to return the document as originally promised. We have dealt with other companies in this regard and all have been prompt and professional. Even the DWP accepted a photocopy of the POA. Why VM couldn't is entirely beyond me.

  • MrsDont09 helen somerville (@MrsDont09) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia whats happening with the service in B29 area. Been off and on past 24 hours.

  • ___Mezzala Riz 🌹🇬🇧 (@___Mezzala) reported from Birmingham, England

@AGJ27_ @TwiitterJo @virginmedia Ours has gone down… Again. The 5th time this evening. I’ve had enough of this ****. Genuinely can’t wait to leave. Never experienced such awful service in my life.

  • robintjohnson8 Robin Johnson (@robintjohnson8) reported from Coventry, England

@virginmedia Thanks. While I’m on the subject - why does it ALWAYS take multiple attempts to sort anything out with VM? Your WhatsApp and online support workers usually sign off with ‘rest assured you will not have to contact us again’. But this is rarely true?

  • mrmjprice Martin Price (@mrmjprice) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia I have been but they couldn’t get a good-enough price and directed me to the self-service page but I get “customer-exclusion” at the end of the URL which tells me to use chat.

  • Rob_Hicks W1NGNUT (@Rob_Hicks) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Doesn't matter now, we've terminated the contract and joined Three home broadband. I just think it's disgusting that a customer of over 10 years doesn't get offered a deal as good as a new customer.

  • rjoberns R Joberns (@rjoberns) reported from Halesowen, England

@virginmedia service status checker ……… nope, That’s not working either

  • robintjohnson8 Robin Johnson (@robintjohnson8) reported from Coventry, England

@virginmedia As I am a sane human being, I’ve already looked online for help. Why answer like this - an obvious bot response. ??

  • jamesbrown39 James DR Brown (@jamesbrown39) reported from Warwickshire, England

@virginmedia Before your status site stopped working it said you were aware of an issue in are area and it could be fixed by 2200hrs this evening!!!! Now you are not aware??? Please what is going on??

  • amancalledalex Alex Barker (@amancalledalex) reported from Coventry, England

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had a problem with @virginmedia which eventually got sorted out, but not before going to their Executive Team. Customer care was nonexistent on the phones. Customer care is challenging but staff need to show much more empathy with the customer.

  • stumccullagh Stuart McCullagh (@stumccullagh) reported from Solihull, England

    £117 a month & @virginmedia down again plus still haven’t had my booster I was promised in Feb 21 & June 22

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Smartstradamus Smartstradamus (@Smartstradamus) reported

@virginmedia This issue needs to be rectified ASAP so my parents have access to the careline services that will call for an ambulance and assistance automatically should they have a fall.

  • boz_face Boz_face (@boz_face) reported

@virginmedia Yeee broadbands off and on like a light switch been like this all day, says no problems online. Garbage

  • helmag09 Helen Maguire (@helmag09) reported

@virginmedia Thank you for your help but as predicted your customer service is the worse! Unable to repair remotely, unable to send a engineer until at least the 30th Dec, unable to speak to someone to escalate my problem!? Useless! #poorcustomerservice

  • CeolmundW Neil Roberts (@CeolmundW) reported

@virginmedia Why don’t you just fix it rather than trying to keep me occupied by telling me to contact you, for you to then tell me you can’t fix it, and to contact you again to see if there is an update on how you are either uncontactable or can’t fix it.

  • Smartstradamus Smartstradamus (@Smartstradamus) reported

@virginmedia No there has been no explanation from the 8+ members of your staff I have spoken to. First one booked an appointment for 22/12/22 between 4-7pm. Since then the subsequent staff spoken to have all said they had raised a lifeline support ticket for an emergency engineer visit.

  • EmmaDown13 Emma Down (@EmmaDown13) reported

@virginmedia The initial person basically said we had never had it so imagined it for 5 years! A manager sorted it but only once we decided to leave virgin

  • CeolmundW Neil Roberts (@CeolmundW) reported

@virginmedia I don’t want to discuss it, I just want you to send me a new password like you said you would in 5 days. It’s bad enough you locking me out of my account, now you are sending me on wild goose chases. Ring us. WhatsApp us. Message us. WhatsApp is. Now go onto the community forum.

  • HayleyBridge5 Hayley Bridge (@HayleyBridge5) reported

@virginmedia No, as the phone I've received is apparently not registered to Virgin so I was advised not to send it back and in any event, the 'jiffy bag' I was told had been sent over 3 weeks ago never arrived

  • CeolmundW Neil Roberts (@CeolmundW) reported

    @virginmedia This is terrible.

  • rajamanit06 Raja Eswaran (@rajamanit06) reported

@virginmedia It’s a fault and we are not getting any solution at all - we need to find a solution - either the issue is resolved now or we are not paying any money - this is not fair to expect us to keep paying when we have total loss of service
