@virginmedia The link you provide is entirely not the problem. We’ve had the same issue for 2 years. It doesn’t stop being a problem. And every time we contact someone about it, we get the same advice because there’s no continuation. Please read the message chain if you’re going to reply.

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Literally three years of the same inconsistency. And appalling customer service when you speak to anyone. There is nothing you have done or will do to improve this. As soon as I can get a decent speed from another local company I’ll be gone.

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia There is no weak signal. I’ve checked all around the house repeatedly. There are no faults in the area. I have checked repeatedly. Customer services have been unhelpful on multiple calls. Had to fight to get an upgraded hub!

  • Saq5000 Saqib (@Saq5000) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia Could you also tell me why I cannot stream recorded programs when I’m away from home as I am required to be on the same Wi-Fi network which kind of defeats the object

  • clareywilliams clare williams (@clareywilliams) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia worst customer service I have ever come across!!! Arrange a call back time....dont bother to call back, then continue to bill me for a contract ended nearly months ago!!!!

  • A7ESK Edward King (@A7ESK) reported from Kenilworth, England

@virginmedia TV issues Area 31 as your phone line as busy after the run test still not work any issues in this area like updates

  • ann_wilson0121 Lisa Wilson (@ann_wilson0121) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia why sell us a package when you do not have the correct infrastructure in place! 30 minutes on hold today, I’m giving up. We didn’t have these issues with Sky.

  • JaneCampionHoye Jane Campion Hoye (@JaneCampionHoye) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia obviously massive problems!! All services down for 2 days, now reinstalled but they've deleted my Sent box on their server so I can't email documents, badly affects work and no technical support. They just cut out and hang up!!!

  • JaneCampionHoye Jane Campion Hoye (@JaneCampionHoye) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Hi, thanks for getting back to me. All my VM services were down in past 48 hours. Now restored. BUT you seem to have deleted my Sent Box from Virgin email Server. I had 2 sent boxes, but the one deleted is the major one synced to my Windows 10 so can't send imp work documents!!

  • _Rachele_ Rachele 🍷 (@_Rachele_) reported from Redditch, England

Looool. Virgin Media down again. Go to put our postcode in to see if service is affected in Redditch & apparently it's not a valid postcode. At least for a week every night the internet has gone down for about 20 minutes. Not the end of the world of course but a tad frustrating.

  • Patchwork_Boy Craig Whitehouse (@Patchwork_Boy) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia Hi, my internet is down. The connection (arrows) symbol is flashing and have been since about 3am. Tried restarting router, didn't fix it. Advice, please.

  • cra1gs Craig (@cra1gs) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia It’s not a good enough response. You’re providing a sub bar service and yet I’m still paying my bill in full. I expect a discount until the matter is resolved.

  • jongaunt Jon Gaunt (@jongaunt) reported from Warwickshire, England

@virginmedia Virgin media broadband tv and phone got a couple in their eighties hang your head in shame

  • theblackstrat THEBLACKSTRAT (@theblackstrat) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia Why do you have to continually restart the phone to get rid of the red icon on The phone app icon even when you’ve deleted the voicemail It seems this is a major problem with you I would appreciate you resolving it all as otherwise the phone is not fit for purpose

  • JaneCampionHoye Jane Campion Hoye (@JaneCampionHoye) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia My computer guy HAS looked at your forum. We know what the problem is but it needs technical support your end to fix it. It would take the right person 2 mins but we cant get past your incredibly poor customer service to get any kind of tech support. So stressful & frustrating.

  • JaneCampionHoye Jane Campion Hoye (@JaneCampionHoye) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Okay. Just that Twitter asked me to sign into it and results would give you access. Thanks for clarification...just really dont understand why I have to go to a forum to get tech support for an error Virgin has made.

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia No. It’s usually just one of the connected devices we lose at a time. Most often speakers but sometimes security cameras, sometimes hue bulbs. Never everything at once.

  • JaneCampionHoye Jane Campion Hoye (@JaneCampionHoye) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia I have a technician coming on Tues to replace SuperHub but need specific technical support to restore Sent box on PC. Windows say object not found error Ox8004010F. VM techs used to help in past at level 2 or 3. Now it's impossible to get past level 1 tech support.

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Yes, security cameras, nest heating, hue bulbs. Less frequently. But still happens. Everything works for a while then something or several things stop. Never everything. We have entirely re-set everything once, which takes hours to sort and is not an answer.

  • stumccullagh Stuart McCullagh (@stumccullagh) reported from Solihull, England

If my internet goes down again in the next hour @virginmedia I'm voting Labour!!!!!!

@virginmedia Why don’t virgin employee good engineers - why is that virgin engineers only seem to drill people houses down and leave cable box open, and wires hanging or on the floor in the most unsafe way. Why don’t virgin recruit competent people to avoid these issues

  • clairen_digital Claire Nicholson - science & tech marketing (@clairen_digital) reported

Can't believe that after a week of total loss of service @virginmedia books her an appointment for 21st Dec for specialist cabling...!!! No help to get her back online temporarily either, Christmas time and she has no phone, TV or Internet!!

  • Oliviapetter1 Olivia Petter (@Oliviapetter1) reported

@virginmedia *urgent* still no wifi. Yodel can't deliver it to the newsagent I selected because the newsagent says it doesn't accept deliveries from Yodel. Now Yodel say it needs to get sent back to you, which will take 5-7 days. Pls help I need wifi urgently.

  • LoveLauraism Laura Sheppard (@LoveLauraism) reported

@virginmedia No, it says there are no issues in the area - to be clear my issue here is the lack of notice given, as I said is it hard for you to have said 'we'll be digging up your street on the 6th December in the morning' the answer is no, its not hard.

  • tomprimrose Tom Primrose (@tomprimrose) reported

@virginmedia No wifi has been pretty consistent, although the reason we needed them in the first point was because it can be unstable and doesn’t travel far

  • Avatar777897645 Avatar7 (@Avatar777897645) reported

@virginmedia If Matt was able to fix the problem he would have done it by now. He told me someone attended - I said I have a ring door bell and cameras outside … I can prove nobody came

  • Avatar777897645 Avatar7 (@Avatar777897645) reported

@virginmedia I have been speaking to Matt everyday via virgin app forum since 27thNov. Since Matt has been chasing to get it fix. Before we know it will be 2023 December and problem not fixed. I’ll probably end up paying an engineer privately and do the job.

  • Avatar777897645 Avatar7 (@Avatar777897645) reported

@virginmedia Matt is not getting any help from operation team he can only tell me that he has made a request. Nobody got back to him
