-
Kingofsalemsdaughter (@salemsdaughters) reportedMishandling calls isnt reserved for virgin media but the NHS and all their staff members. I received a long awaited call from 111 regarding my toddler. Id like to note its very late and he is now asleep. Before id even said hello after answering the phone call she rudely asked if i can hear her not even saying hello herself. That was an indication the rest of the call was going to be pointless. WTF?

Minute Market (@Minutemarketio) reportedVirgin Media Gets Fined 🫰 Virgin Media was hit with a £28 million, or roughly $37 million, fine by UK regulator Ofcom for repeatedly making it harder for customers to cancel contracts between 2022 and 2024. That is not just a consumer-rights story. It is a warning for telecom and subscription businesses that “retention tricks” can become regulatory liabilities. In a market obsessed with recurring revenue, cancellation friction is now a legal risk.
-
ten street KINGO👽 (@kwestfanclub) reported@Stsantek @virginmedia Hello, i work in the industry, as bad as Virgin are, and they are bad, the responsibility is the EE salesmen who placed the order without knowing your termination charge, whenever signing up i check for things like this so things like this dont happen.
-
Jake Maddocks (@MakeJaddocks) reported@LBC Virgin Media overcharged me when I tried to cancel and then gave me a default when I cancelled my DD I’ve appealed to them and the credit scoring agencies with evidence but no responses If anyone has any advice, please let me know
