-
Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia I took a walk to clear my mind and decided all the hassle isn’t worth it. So I just rang to cancel the TV order. If you’d honoured the original request, you’d be getting an extra £7/month from me (and probably more if I upgraded my channels). I can live without it though
-
Michael Grahame-Dunn (@MGDTWITWATCH) reported from Nuneaton, England
@virginmedia awful service and even worse customer service -
-
🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England
And once again we are unable to use our @virginmedia wifi. When I called customer services today they took nearly 10min to answer, asked the same basic questions repeatedly and then cut me off without even starting to resolve anything! Bloody useless. Issues since May 2018.

@virginmedia My complaint would be about the level of service (or lack thereof) provided by the manager who cancelled my original order, not pricing
-
🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia Repeatedly over several years. Get the same response each time. Nothing changes long term. I see from checks online that other people have the same issues so I’m now planning on leaving.
-
Adam McDermott (@admcdermott) reported from Dorridge, England
@virginmedia raised a complaint yesterday - promised a call back today but nothing. Calling customer services is so awful we've just lost hope.
-
Matthew Clements-Wheeler (@MidlandsSBM) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia You disabled our old address so I am now having to move my wife’s business computer and records at 10pm at night to the new address so she can work tomorrow. Your customer service agents haven’t got my name right once and you have mucked up provision of equipment at the new place

@virginmedia your website is a nightmare. I'm logged in. Contact us > Moving home, why not sign in? Back to main profile/bill page. STUPID. I've already told you I'm leaving but no confirmation. Can't speak to you now to confirm. When is the box arriving to return equipment?
-
Sonic Death Monkey (@Parkesy1701) reported
@virginmedia Our issue though, is poor upload speed on 1gb package, we are getting 1-4mbps when suggested speed should be 50mbps
-
Chloë (@CloopR) reported
@itscoxxy @virginmedia Oh god, I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news 😭 I have a text number I’ve been contacting them with, if that’s any good? I’ve found it to be the only way to get in touch with them that gets a response!
-
Ange (@t77nge) reported
@virginmedia It's come back on now, but it's a real inconvenience, especially as it's not the first time it's happened, I'm still waiting on a reply from my complaint last year when we had a total of 5 days of outage, seems I'm being ignored.
-
Ben Clarke (@benccclarke) reported
@virginmedia All sorted thanks! But your customer service advisors really need to learn to not hang up the phone when you say to them the price they offer is cheaper on the website so you’re going to go elsewhere. Also saying that the price shouldn’t “matter” that much with a small difference
-
Cllr Lee Whitbread (@sotonwhitbread) reported
Any idea what’s going on with @virginmedia broadband services in the west of Southampton? I’ve had frequent connectivity issues. I know @toobbroadband are digging up lots of roads locally. Could this be causing the problem?
-
Garry Voss (@gwfvrowell) reported
@virginmedia The round trip latency speed is all over the place, my workplace IT team pinged my IP address and said I'm suffering from latency jitters whereby the signal constantly drops out which is why my Teams calls are indecipherable and the picture keeps freezing whist working from home
-
BillNyeTheScienceGuy (@GDog1995) reported

@virginmedia Thank you for your assistance. Someone has now called me back and accepted my security details originally supplied ?? I believe the matter will now been sorted. Sometimes an element of common sense needs to be applied in the name of good customer service and problem resolution.
