    @virginmedia i logged another complaint 1 to 2 weeks prior and heard nothing back. i was advised by cust service a month ago not to log a formal complaint and log an internal complaint instead

    @virginmedia Hi, I have now tried unsuccessfully for 12 hours to use the WhatsApp service as again it goes around in circles if I am not immediately available. The number you helpfully provided hangs up after sending a link… please advise how I talk to someone about my account.

    @LenFPS @virginmedia they don’t care. it only happens 7pm onwards but will happen until the next morning so I can’t stream or anything. and they’re telling me to write on a forum as if that will fix it😤

    Mad that I pay £71 a month for 350mbps for @virginmedia Broadband for them to only supply me with 40mbps, internet is barely moving, can’t even load basic web pages on my MacBook or phone. Problems in the Birmingham area?

    And just like that my @virginmedia is off again, no internet whatsoever. Embarrassing service from them, very disappointed and frustrated.

    @virginmedia We had issuse with our service, and was told we would need new cables. We the new cables installed. They left cabels hanging in the garden which has since been removed. Our grass is ruined (I have photos) it looks like next doors cable are also under or grass????

    @virginmedia Yes I’ve done that. My connection drops out for a minute or so every 30-60 mins. Hard to replicate. My account has notes regarding the reason why the credit was given last time. Ideally I don’t want to wait so long for the same issue to be fixed.

    @virginmedia business installation, been given 6 dates since 17th January. 4 no show or wrong booked, 2 attendance but not equipped to extend installation from 1sf floor to 2nd. even billed for a service which is not even installed yet. Nightmare #virginmedia #broadband

    I'm so pissed off @virginmedia blackmailed me into signing my mobile contract with @O2 by saying my media account would be cheaper. If I stayed with virgin it would be amount more. So I had no option but to go with o2 and No my mobile Internet is crap. I can't use my doorbell

    @virginmedia signed up for your new broadband and still waiting for the stuff to arrive. Apparently parcel is still at @YodelOnline main hub. This is the SECOND day I've cancelled things and waited for it to arrive as yet to no avail. WTF is going on!?! 🤬

    Ended up just reconnecting my TP Link router, it seems the problems were with my Hub 5 because everything seems to be working fine now. Not great @virginmedia

    @virginmedia Another fail. I've reached out in exasperation since my chase-ups of 14th, 19th and today have been ignored. As have my 5 messages to your local rep who promised to be on hand. If you can't be bothered to help me, I'll just escalate via another route @richardbranson

    All TV boxes playing up , had issues for a couple of days now can’t get through on phones is there any issues in B37 area ? @virginmedia also I’ve been waiting nearly 2 years for my wifi booster

    @emma_blingo @Benleo @virginmedia Very, very common. I don’t know a single person who gets the speed (consistently) that they’re actually paying for. This, I think, is a huge scandal that’s never really looked at.

    @Benleo I know this will be of little conciliation to you but I recently had an issue with my @virginmedia broadband. It required a new Hub. I phoned on a Tuesday late afternoon and they booked a call out for the Thursday PM. They arrived on time and fitted the new Hub. I had no issues.

    @Benleo @virginmedia Similar happened to me and again the call centre pushing am unnecessary sale and left me with no internet for weeks. Falsely claiming I needed new equipment but didn’t book an engineer It’s not the same company these days. Issues started September and this Friday engineer will finally arrive. I had to go back to sky in the meantime and move the virgin account to an other address because they would not cancel and kept ending calls. I would not recommend them. Also they have had issues nationwide with internet past two weeks impossible to work from home or study. Will they reimburse those customers?

    Hey @virginmedia we just took out a new contract with you, had our box fitted on Friday, reprogrammed on Saturday due to an outage. Now we've just gone over 24 hours with no internet or TV yet again and the fix times constantly being pushed back. What's your cancellation period?

    @virginmedia Absolutely despicable. My elderly parents had problems too when they first signed up to them, then they had to navigate their call centre speak from India to resolve it. They're not that good and don't care

    @Benleo @virginmedia Try dealing with @SkyUK Ben. Indian Call Centre! No words! After 30+ years as a Sky customer our Sky contract was terminated in December all because we moved home and needed a Sky Stream box instead of Q but cost increase was staggering so terminated. Never heard from Sky again.

They just sent me a new 360 box as they said mine wasn't recording properly yet I had no problems with it, they have ripped me off since I changed the account into my name from my late partners, no difference just a name change ive now been forced into a new contract.

    What this comes down to is Virgin Media not wanting consumers to be able to skip adverts anymore using pause and rewind live TV. I assume they get more from advertising money when people are forced to watch adverts on their streaming boxes. Fine, I understand that. But lying and misselling and treating customers like this in order to achieve that is unacceptable.
