Brian Cape (@BrianMCape) reported from Birmingham, England@virginmedia And this is why, I'll be reporting you to trading standards for fraudulent misselling/misrepresentation and then abdicating ALL responsibility/accountability to resolve. There's no security/DPA issues in you giving me a direct dial number via DM. You just don't want to resolve.
-
W1LKO (@Wilkomania1984) reported from Stoke, England@virginmedia Your customer services are useless!!!!!! 😡😡😡
-
W1NGNUT (@Rob_Hicks) reported from Birmingham, England@virginmedia Doesn't matter now, we've terminated the contract and joined Three home broadband. I just think it's disgusting that a customer of over 10 years doesn't get offered a deal as good as a new customer.

Brian Cape (@BrianMCape) reported from Birmingham, England@virginmedia Alternatively, if you feel the urge to actually be helpful, you can search my name and location (it's an uncommon name) and ask a complaints manager to contact me. No security issues or breaches, since the notes I've been assured are on file, will be there to check.

Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Brit Ian (@dearbrit_ian) reported@SandyofSuffolk You really are out of touch, unsurprisingly. Virgin Media getting fined £28 million for preventing customers from cancelling their subscription shows that this is endemic. Many businesses insist that you contact them via telephone to cancel, but they make it impossible to reach them via telephone. These days, many recurring payments are automated against your bank card so you cannot cancel it via the app, you have to cancel the actual card.
-
m (@RamsbottomMark) reported@cxdi55 @skytv @SkyHelpTeam got the same with virgin media ..needs a regulation like with car insurance where they have to offer you the same deal as a new customer
-
Iain Patrick (@iaindpatrick) reported@virginmedia hi guys. Internet out from just before 10.30am this morning. Status page says sorted by 3pm tomorrow (that its self is unacceptable) got a text saying service is restored, but its not, so why send a misleading message? Poor service and customer experience.
-

-
Bellza (@bell824) reported@virginmedia , how sad you can’t get a long standing customer close to new customer prices when it’s so easy to switch these days. Maybe @skytv will provide me a longer term service. £200 a month when a new customer pays £70 for the same. Your best is double the price!
-
Caitlin (@ca100593) reported@virginmedia my internets not been working for days and neighbours in my area having same issue , glasgow area G76 is this issue being dealt with?
-
StephenP (@StephenP311275) reported@virginmedia You were "looking into it" a couple of months ago and nothing happened. I can get a better deal and service by going back to Sky as a new customer.
-
Simone-Lee Deal (@StiffNips2) reported@JimMooreJourno CEO is too busy counting his £1 mil package to give a ****, and Burnham shows no interest in dealing with it. Amazing that it's a merry-go-round of useless bastards buggering up companies; he used to be at British Gas, equal only to Virgin Media for dissatisfied customers.
-
Pachicin 🇬🇧 (@pachicin) reportedVirgin Media. An astonishingly **** company, even by the standards of the UK telecoms industry. You are an absolutely ******* appalling company. You utter ******* disgrace.
