    And now you have been offline for over half a day with your website still saying there is no known issue?! I want to make an official complaint to both @virginmedia and @Ofcom , Your service is appalling and your customer service even worse.

    @virginmedia please could somebody contact a vulnerable person who has a broken TV box in their bedroom. Has no service. Please phone 07806810206. We can fit it if it can be posted out. No one answering customer services, many thanks

    @virginmedia My daughter had to make 2 phone calls to your customer service department to resolve a problem with her new TV box in November last year. She was almost 2 hours on the phone & then an engineer visit solved the problem. Engineer admitted the setup instructions were at fault.

    @virginmedia Absolutely atrocious customer service! Waited for my Hub 4 to arrive as we are now paying for highest broadband, it arrives and has wrong power cable inside, phoned to sort, on hold for 20 mins then speak to someone who has IT issues and has put us on 40 mins hold!

    @virginmedia It’s the WIFi and what can you do about it? I’ve been a customer for many many years and this issue is causing aggravation. Surely I should expect uninterrupted service all day every day. It’s not cheap either is it??

    @virginmedia why has my mobile signal strength dropped now Virgin Mobile is piggybacking off Vodafone? Used to be full strength when you used EE.

    @davesumnersmith @virginmedia I have realised that talking to Twitter teams is of limited value. The responses are scripted and when they’re painted into a corner, they just stop responding. Customer Service has become a contradiction in terms. My daughter has had similar experiences with Virgin Media.

    @virginmedia Just phoned, spent 35 minutes on hold, call answered, questions asked, checks being carried out.......... Phone gets put down!!! Do you expect me to call again for the same atrocious service?? @virginmedia @BBCWatchdog

    @virginmedia my wifi is constantly going down, it's happened 4 times today, so frustration. Why do I pay £74 pound a month for this service!? Really thinking of switching to @SkyUK

    @virginmedia It was a five minute fix, but she lost one month of TV access as a result. She’s a nurse so arranging a daytime appointment took a while because of her work patterns. It’s her first home of her own and I felt she had been treated in a less than respectable manner.

    Can anyone tell me how you get @virginmedia to respond to and deal with complaints? I am at the end of my tether with them! I have raised 4 complaints now and they have unsatisfactorily responded to 1 which I called back about to keep the complaint open only for them to close...

    @virginmedia The issue is happening on the app so it looks like it’s duplicated the laptop using chrome 4 times. 3 of those need removing which I can’t do

    @virginmedia I gave my cancellation notice for a month and then I got disconnected the next day. I’ve been told it can take 72 hrs to reconnect. I would like to make a complaint as this is not acceptable to have internet/phone/tv disconnected like this. #badcustomerservice plus

    @virginmedia Tried for over an hour to remove a service from my package and I have been cut off 3 times after being transferred to the correct team. I’m a long term customer and paid a lot of money. The service needs to be better! How am I meant to speak to anyone?

    @virginmedia Hello, I've tried a few times now to set up a direct debit on your website for my broadband account and after inputting my bank details and clicking 'continue' it just reloads to the same page. I've checked and my bank details are correct so it's website problem.

    @virginmedia Yep & it’ll be fixed on 28th. Problem I have is that my broadband has been useless ever since I joined Virgin 6 months ago so I just don’t believe it - the same experience that was shown on watchdog. Plus I’m paying full price £65 a month for a service that I can’t even steam tv

    @virginmedia PlayStation is another issue, can’t ever lay any games on that. It’s not Sony’s fault, the PlayStation is fine offline. It’s the internet connection.
