-
Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England
@virginmedia broadband down again. Obviously a network fault, but system has booked an engineer visit. Given that my contract is up for renewal and the cost has nearly doubled, I think I am in the market for a new provider.
-
Dr Emma Neachell (@thephdrunner) reported from Birmingham, England
@_gl_lxuise @SkyUK @virginmedia Same problem here. They keep saying they have fixed the issue when they clearly haven’t. They are good at putting prices up but not at fixing issues. I’m going back to Sky.
-
Chris fletcher (@Chrisf2016) reported from Wednesfield, England
So @virginmedia are increasing our bill again. We've been loyal customers since it was telewest even with all the problems over the years we stuck with you Well thats it. I will be finding another supplier 👋👋👋
-
Dr Emma Neachell (@thephdrunner) reported from Birmingham, England
@stephanemassey @VirginMediaCorp You should leave Virgin Media, I can pretty much guarantee the service won’t improve and you’ll be left with no internet on a regular basis.
-
🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England
@Poxo01 We have been battling rising costs and poor service with @virginmedia for years. Have argued down the contract repeatedly due to issues. Just got the internet and home control stable again and then get another price increase letter. Fed up with them.
-
Stuart Cockerill (@licklemouse) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia tremendous service had problems with my tv service for 3 weeks now which you still haven’t sorted and now you put my bill up and to try and sort it all out I’ve now been on hold for an hour shocking
-
Richard Baily (@foraneasylife) reported from Solihull, England
Waiting over 22 minutes thus far for @virginmedia to answer phone, as I have no broadband service. Service suddenly went when watching catch up tv. 🙄
-
Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England
@virginmedia Did you notice the "again". On average it's down 2 days a month.
-
Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England
@virginmedia Your website now shows: Network issues might be affecting TV and broadband services at the moment. Our engineer is working to fix the problem. Broadband is working again...
-
🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England
@ChrisScottBtn I’m fed up of this process year on year with an ongoing problematic service. Three complaints, two left unanswered. And then the onus is on you to chase! I cannot be bothered with them anymore. That’s the level customer service I’ve come to expect from @virginmedia now.
-
Dr Emma Neachell (@thephdrunner) reported from Birmingham, England
@MrCMorley @virginmedia If it’s anything like the ongoing outage in Four Oaks they won’t bother to contact you. I checked they had my correct details and I’ve had no updates. I’ve now cancelled my contract.
-
Sharon Baker (@DixeyBaker) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia Thanks for replying! The green light keeps flashing which its never done - we had an outage in B14 yesterday- my internet is working and we have rebooted but its still flashing
-
Caroline Durbin (@acroline) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia utterly appalling customer service once again. 15 minutes on hold to cancel a contract miss-sold to me.
-
Dr Emma Neachell (@thephdrunner) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia B744LG my neighbour is also having issues. Internet keeps dropping out so there’s clearly some sort of intermittent fault. I’ve wasted 45 mins on the phone trying to report it.
-
Kate Gordon (@Kagey_infohub) reported from West Bromwich, England
@virginmedia I'll check, but slow connection and frequent drop is ongoing. We looked at switching but didn't move as not enough confidence in alternative ISPs tbh.
-
Caroline Durbin (@acroline) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia Nonsense. If you valued me as a customer I would not have gone through 3 months of unanswered calls and when I did speak to staff- accusations of lying. Check your records before cut and pasting bland replies.
-
Dr Emma Neachell (@thephdrunner) reported from Birmingham, England
@MrPaulTreadwell @virginmedia @Ofcom I’ve just spoken to a very rude lady in retentions. Have been lied to, apparently I was on the internet all day yesterday, I was in the office.
-
Dr Emma Neachell (@thephdrunner) reported from Birmingham, England
@BFILeigh @virginmedia @SkyUK I don’t know you but Virgin Media as a company are so bad they look Sky look amazing. If you can cancel and find an alternative I’d do it.
-
Tariq Khan (@TeeKhan84) reported from Birmingham, England

-
Dr Emma Neachell (@thephdrunner) reported from Birmingham, England
@Cee_langie8852 @virginmedia Yes, they are useless. No service most of yesterday and as of 0530 this morning, no service again. I’ve spent hours waiting to get through to the technical team. It’s time @ofcom got involved.

@virginmedia can you please explain why you can’t fix the broadband issue in our local area that has been causing homeworking/homeschooling issues since 4th Jan. And even though I have rang up 6 times now no one can give me a date for it to be fixed?

margaret (@happymargy) reported
@virginmedia Why have you illegally signed me up to a 12 month contract? All I did was contact you with a broadband/tv issue. I havnt changed my package and I don’t agree to signing a new contract. Which incidentally runs out next month. Bloody scammers. I’ll be swapping providers next month
