  • kolapoagunbiade
TheBosz (@kolapoagunbiade) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Unfortunately, you dont have a ticketing system or cobtact email to track issues, rather a phone system that requires you to wait forever to get through to an agent. A/c number: 095063606. I was charged x2.5 of what i was tp pay.

  • PolymathTim
SorachiTim (@PolymathTim) reported from West Bromwich, England

Zero Internet connectivity from @virginmedia now for pushing 12 hours. Resetting and/or powering down the hub does nothing, the diagnostic and fault tools just go round and around in an ever more boring circle. #LightningSpeedFarce

  • scbadham

@virginmedia really disappointed in the service lately all it does is keep dropping. I’ve had no Internet services for the last hour again the fourth time this week and it’s still not working

  • RefinedSavage
Dani Grim (@RefinedSavage) reported from Dudley, England

Seems like @virginmedia is completely down in our area, I can't even access their support site to log a problem. Also it appears that @O2 is having some sort of issue, my mobile data connection is so slow that royal mail could be a viable messaging alternative.

  • AshleyDay1971
Ashley Day (@AshleyDay1971) reported from Woodside, England

@virginmedia Internet down again, 3rd day I'm a row. Can't even check status on your website as its not loading properly. When will it be fixed?

  • frugalista1
Frugalista (@frugalista1) reported from Dorridge, England

@virginmedia Typical Virgin Media response. Passing me on. Not actually solving the problem. I will never come back to @virginmedia and will advise all my friends never to think of using you.

  • philq001
Phil Queenan (@philq001) reported from Birmingham, England

iamscorchy (@iamscorchy) reported from Wednesfield, England

@virginmedia Experiencing issues in your area there is a technician in the area but still doesn't explain why my routers fans go really loud and disconnected from everything I have to keep resetting to get it back to normal then on top get "issues in my area" like always

  • ReissOmari
Gordé 🦩 (@ReissOmari) reported from Birmingham, England

Mad that I pay £71 a month for 350mbps a month for @virginmedia for them to only supply me with 40mbps, internet is barely moving, can’t even load basic web pages on my MacBook or phone. Problems in the Birmingham area??

  • richardcbishop
Richard C. Bishop 🏃‍♂️ (@richardcbishop) reported from West Bromwich, England

@Damien_Clyburn @virginmedia They're appalling. I've had business version for 10 years. BT never miss a beat. Outstanding. Get rid of them.

  • SusieWJr
Susan Johnson (@SusieWJr) reported from Himley, England

@virginmedia The status checker says intermittent signal in your area. It's disgusting with how much I pay for broadband.

  • SusieWJr
Susan Johnson (@SusieWJr) reported from Swindon, England

@virginmedia @ste1984r But YOU say 'intermittent' loss when it isn't. It's FULL loss of service. And to only compensate after 2 days is crazy.

  • ReissOmari
Gordé 🦩 (@ReissOmari) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia It’s on both WiFi and wired. At this present moment I’m unable to get ANY network from the router on both.

  • JMEden_97

@virginmedia Hi, I have now tried unsuccessfully for 12 hours to use the WhatsApp service as again it goes around in circles if I am not immediately available. The number you helpfully provided hangs up after sending a link… please advise how I talk to someone about my account.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • TheHashton
    Harry Ashton (@TheHashton) reported

@DeviateDefiant @virginmedia @MoneySupermkt I regularly threaten to cancel on renewal, instead of paying £80-85+ or whatever they want me to pay I get it for £30ish. I've been doing that for a decade now but it's just annoying if you miss a month or so. Gonna look into Openreach through

  • Surreycricfan
    James (@Surreycricfan) reported

@virginmedia hi, how can I get my login for HBO max? I have TNT sports. Thanks

  • TheWho87
    TheWho87 (@TheWho87) reported

@virginmedia Why? The fact that the internet was working with a VPN meant it wasn't an issue on my end, it was an issue on your end, plus it's working now, so you seem to have fixed the issue already.

  • Jamaal162
    Jamaal (@Jamaal162) reported

@jonoread @ajzxne They knew owned and run by the same company.. virgin media 02… literally just a subsidiary branded to capture a different market ie the ones who are smart enough to not pay 3 to 4x the amount for the same service

  • aspoone2
    Adam Spooner (@aspoone2) reported

@virginmedia what an awful service New customer and already regretting it Along pops engineer 1 on 22nd to install the service Oh can't do that mate, we need to call out the street team, they will be there Wednesday

  • trapdoor456
    Berk (@trapdoor456) reported

Switching from @virginmedia today, going for just broadband with YouFibre & saving £70 a month for a speed more than 3x what Virgin wanted £10 a month more for. Hoping it does what it says, but Virgin service & Customer Service have been diabolical this year. Anyone use YouFibre?

  • mayvonbonbon
    Teezo’s Lace Wig🍉 (@mayvonbonbon) reported

Since upgrading my hub 5 Virgin Media hub my internet drops every evening. Hub 4 & 3 never dropped and I’m paying like £30 more per month 😶

  • FoxJereny
    Jeremy Darby-Fox 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 (@FoxJereny) reported

@virginmedia any chance you might actually get the internet working in Didcot anytime soon? Been several days now. Estimated fix date keeps being pushed back. Getting ridiculous now. It’s not cheap paying our bill for no internet

  • NgoziGift15
    Loyseda (@NgoziGift15) reported

@virginmedia I've not been able to get my Internet up and running since Monday I'd like to proceed to terminate my contract as I've had serious frustrations trying to get my home Internet connected.

  • je_durrant
    James Durrant (@je_durrant) reported

@virginmedia I did that earlier today and your colleague confirmed nothing can be done until 17th August, over a month since this started. Now you’re saying it’s £1660 to exit a service I can’t even use. “Taking responsibility” and “monitoring” doesn’t solve my problem
