    @Michaelallen_99 @philell21 @virginmedia Because the stupid rules say that if there’s a disruption to your services (over a specified amount of time), you’re legally entitled to compensation, but ONLY if you contact them to notify them that you specifically are effected, if you don’t they’re not obligated

    @virginmedia No estimated time. "It's a complex problem". In other words its a network fault not a line fault. Why isn't the number you shared available on your website? The service checker is useless in this scenario. The website says it's working when it isn't.

    @virginmedia You only pay out for a total loss of service. So it can be unusable but still limping along and you won't pay out. Personally I am hoping for another provider to get around to rolling out fibre in my area.

    @virginmedia Your system sent me a satisfaction survey. Needed to complete it using mobile broadband because my virgin broadband doesn't actually work, but is apparently working enough to not qualify as being out of service.

    @sahinbrum @virginmedia I agree that their compensation policy is bs, I’ve found when I’ve had any outage affect me, they patch it quickly so the service gets intermittent while they work on a full fix, that way they don’t have to compensate, even if service drops out every couple minutes. BS really

    @virginmedia my new tv box has arrived today and I can’t use it as our area is still down. Our broadband was down yesterday. At least it’s only the tv today it’s not as if we are without power or heating like some parts of the country. Customer services were helpful

    My contract with Virgin Media has run out and they want to up my contract price by DOUBLE. When I rang up to cancel I expected them to offer me a better deal and they were just Ok bye.

    Gutted that I’ve renewed my mobile contract with @virginmedia I don’t think I’ve ever had such bad customer service before. I’m still waiting for transcripts from my chats yesterday to complain to the Ombudsman about them. I will not be renewing with them again!

    @virginmedia problems with emails all day. Message keeps saying try again in one hour. But no emails since 835am this morning. Are you aware of this problem? Any news on a fix for it?

    @virginmedia Broadband connection and WiFi are stable but connectivity is intermittent-keeps losing connection every few minutes for 30 seconds. This is a network fault but I cannot find an option to report it. B90 1LB

    @virginmedia new tv box Friday as mentioned before didn’t work Friday started working yesterday now today it’s off again! Done the status check says no problems said box was on standby. I did get a flicker of a program for less than a minute then no signal.

    @Jayshum132 @virginmedia Thankfully full fibre lines are being built along my street (which I believe is at the behest of the council). Virgin media have had a chokehold on high-speed broadband for too long, using it as a blanket excuse to treat their customers like ****.

    @virginmedia I'd already raised a complaint. Heard nothing back so far. But today lost a day's work only to find out this had been a network issue and that I face a second week with no WiFi, tv channels or internet. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

    @virginmedia @cass19may Why should she have to spend time raising a complaint when #VirginMedia has wasted so much of her time already!? And you’re not exactly making it easy for her to raise complaints given that she has to use ££mobile data on because you fail to provide the broadband she pays for

    @a516digital Out of everyone I know only 1 had something other than sky freesat or freeview, he has virgin media, but is so reluctant to talk about it because he has had so many issues with it, he wants to smash it up.

    @virginmedia bigtime lead down. 2 months on and still no broadband connection. Numerous call to the customer service but no has a clue. Very disappointed. Not going to recommend to anyone

    @virginmedia its stating no issues in area, on the weekend it played up then after 2 hours it started working again. It seems to do it every other day.

    @virginmedia When we call, we just get told that an engineer will need to come out, this doesnt explaint why the street is also having issues. Just asked my brother who's further down the street & his internet is the same. So it seems its an area fault.

    @virginmedia OK 3rd visit from an engineer, only had the equipment less than 3 weeks, still can't sort out the problem with the on demand/catchup/apps. Beyond a joke now!!!
