@virginmedia I have already called that number this morning. They told me there was no available deals. I've put a note in my diary to call back on the 16th. I'm not holding out much hope though considering the poor experience I've had today. I wanted to sort it today on my day off.

@virginmedia is actually the worst. Imagine paying money for WiFi which goes off multiple times a day and is slow even when it’s running well🥴

@virginmedia thanks for looking into this in great detail and I only wish that I could go back to the previous version which was fully accessible and user-friendly unlike this version of the app. They shouldn't of updated the app because it wasn't broken in the first place.

@virginmedia your online service status says there are no known issues in my area. However when I called just with a broadband issue I was told there is a fault in our area. If your website was up to date I would not have needed to call and queue for 30 mins.

@virginmedia I'm an existing customer, I've been with you for coming up 2 years. The colleague I dealt with was so unhelpful and just told me to call back on the 16th. I have a back up plan anyway as I've just spoken to sky and can get a 80mb for £25. I can afford the 20mb loss for £34 saving

@virginmedia OK thanks for that and the screen has gone away after I clicked on the sea terms link but I still have the problem of not being able to swipe to delete on individual programs within a folder as this was possible before the update

@BluenoseBeau @virginmedia I have 100mbs supply, over 6 months max received 76.4 for one test soon back to mid 20-30 worst being 0.7 I wouldn't mind so much if it was running at Ave 75%, not when it's seems to be around 35% mark. Oh it's constantly dropping the wifi too!

@virginmedia Usually I would swipe down with one finger and it would tell me that I’m on the delete option and I just tap delete to erase the program

@VirginMobile @virginmedia proved to me that they don’t do customer service. We waited a month for a phone sent to a wrong address, & then had to collect it ourselves. We also proved the phone had a fault from the start, but now we’ve been told to claim on insurance and pay £125!

@virginmedia Sorry for my delay as I'm being treated for a heart attack I had on Valentine's day. When I tested and found v low speeds I could not connect to any internet, so I used my mobile 3g service to check for Virgin internet issues, which came back no issues in my area.

@Andreaspanay6 To everyone complaining about VirginMedia and their rubbish broadband and service generally- this is not new. Broadband has been useless for years now, I have threatened to not renew for last 2 years. This time I will! I am trying a new device on airwaves. More reliable and fast!

@mschakraverty @virginmedia Similar experience with O2 a few years ago, they just refused to cancel. I managed to get hold of the email address of the Head of Customer Services and emailed him direct. He was very huffy about this and passed it to a more junior manager. My problem was instantly sorted.
