Tim Hazelwood (@timhazelwood2) reported from Bewdley, England@virginmedia Hi, following on from the resolution of the issue outlined above. My dad has received a full bill despite being assured by every employee we have spoken to that he wouldn't be charged for the period he was without service (more than two months). Please advise

Gordé 🦩 (@ReissOmari) reported from Birmingham, England@virginmedia Hi, I’m getting around 80mpbs now, should be 350 though, when I try and test it says there’s a problem in the area, but no further information
-
Andy Newton (@NewtonAndy) reported from Dudley, England@Niknaklady1 @virginmedia Oh dear. That's what made me think the problem may not be virgin, if you've got signal on another set. Hope you get it sorted 👍
-
Dani Grim (@RefinedSavage) reported from Dudley, EnglandSeems like @virginmedia is completely down in our area, I can't even access their support site to log a problem. Also it appears that @O2 is having some sort of issue, my mobile data connection is so slow that royal mail could be a viable messaging alternative.
-
Brian Cape (@BrianMCape) reported from West Bromwich, EnglandQuite possibly the worst onboarding and customer 'care' experience I've EVER had @virginmedia Unfulfilled promises, failure to deliver contract as agreed and now I'm 'lost' in the system and being ignored. I'm left with no choice other than to 'out' you. #CaveatEmptor
-
Satish Danny Paul (@________Danny) reported from West Bromwich, England@virginmedia Hi, after raising 2 complaints for being missold my contract, no investigation done by virgin, no outcomes received. i am now bing asked to request my data (dsar), investigate the issue myself listenening to the recordings and send proof to virgin to review. shocking cust service
-
Brian Cape (@BrianMCape) reported from Birmingham, England@virginmedia And this is why, I'll be reporting you to trading standards for fraudulent misselling/misrepresentation and then abdicating ALL responsibility/accountability to resolve. There's no security/DPA issues in you giving me a direct dial number via DM. You just don't want to resolve.
-
Steve Lees (@measlewolf) reported from Dudley, England@virginmedia I understand that your systems were down last night, which happens, but I’ve been on hold for 30 mins this morning. We have a text to say it’s resolved but it isn’t. I just need to speak to someone please.
-
Gordé 🦩 (@ReissOmari) reported from Birmingham, EnglandMad that I pay £71 a month for 350mbps a month for @virginmedia for them to only supply me with 40mbps, internet is barely moving, can’t even load basic web pages on my MacBook or phone. Problems in the Birmingham area??
-
Stuart McCullagh (@stumccullagh) reported from Birmingham, England@virginmedia But when a contract is agreed like a mortgage or a fixed energy deal surely the agreement should last the full term. I’ve had issues since September & been told I can’t leave due to being under a contract so why should my costs go up when I’ve got an agreement in place until Dec
-
Kev Maslin (@kevmaslin) reported from West Bromwich, England@virginmedia The ideal resolution would have been for VM to return the document as originally promised. We have dealt with other companies in this regard and all have been prompt and professional. Even the DWP accepted a photocopy of the POA. Why VM couldn't is entirely beyond me.
-
Susan Johnson (@SusieWJr) reported from Swindon, England@virginmedia @ste1984r But YOU say 'intermittent' loss when it isn't. It's FULL loss of service. And to only compensate after 2 days is crazy.
-
Stuart McCullagh (@stumccullagh) reported from Swindon, EnglandAny news on outages in B37? Also how do I get compensation for loss of svcs (inc my TV not working properly since September) @virginmedia
-
Pretentious Opinions (@OpiniatedOne1) reported from Walsall Wood, England@virginmedia its nice you’re offering new customers ridiculously cheap deals but charging prices through the roof for an inferior service for a customer of nearly 20 years #CostOfLivingCrisis
-
Susan Johnson (@SusieWJr) reported from Himley, England@virginmedia The status checker says intermittent signal in your area. It's disgusting with how much I pay for broadband.
-
Neil Simpson (@nippa77) reported from Swindon, England@virginmedia why is it that your service is up and down more than a yo-yo? It’s getting ridiculous now!!!
-
Ronnie Harris (@redron1975) reported from Walsall Wood, England@virginmedia guess what ********* your system is down again. Useless pricks.
-
Brian Cape (@BrianMCape) reported from West Bromwich, England@virginmedia Just to let you know, I've taken the time to write out another complaint via the link. I've submitted and it says 'nothing to see here'. The link says response within 7 days, and the submission says 28 days, and then my portal says I haven't raised a complaint. ANOTHER FAIL
-
Satish Danny Paul (@________Danny) reported from West Bromwich, England@virginmedia i logged another complaint 1 to 2 weeks prior and heard nothing back. i was advised by cust service a month ago not to log a formal complaint and log an internal complaint instead
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
James Durrant (@je_durrant) reported@coveragechecker @virginmedia Was initially a local outage but turned into someone had unplugged my cable at the exchange and it needed replacing. Sh*t happens, I get it, but to leave someone who pays £1500 a year for a service without anything for a month is plain bad
-
itsu (@itsuu___) reportedThe weirdest thing with this virgin media being down if i turn my vpn on twitter will load if i turn it off it wont load
-
John Bull (@54JohnBull) reported@DeviateDefiant @virginmedia @MoneySupermkt It's a stupid system where every time you have to threaten to cancel, and eventually even that becomes a waste of time.
-
David Owens (@DavidOw38948049) reported@virginmedia 1/2 Rang the above number 15 July (you should have this recorded) finally got a person who said he was the correct person to deal with issue and stated Virgin would come to our home and remove your unused/unwanted broadband box from the outside of our property within 48 hrs !
-
Mikey Molfessis (@mikey_mol) reported@virginmedia You close a call and open a new one without resolution. That’s how you avoid @Ofcom ratings
-
Mikey Molfessis (@mikey_mol) reported@virginmedia And you make it difficult to log a ticket. I called I. And your consultants say “we are aware of an issue” and leave it at that @Ofcom
-
Daisy ****** (@daisylou1972) reported@trapdoor456 @virginmedia Yes, we’ve got it and I’ve found it way faster, and more reliable than Sky. Haven’t had to go through customer services yet, so can’t comment on that. 12 months in and not even had to reset the router.
-
Liam Moran (@lpearsemoran) reported@Rugby_Scoop @daphmc_ @virginmedia 100% Crap
