  • Stephen12857059
Stephen Bennett (@Stephen12857059) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Nobody has called me and the WhatsApp chat is very frustrating and not dealing with the issue. This is very simple, I was sent contract paperwork with an agreed monthly fee of £86.75. Why have I paid two months of excessively higher payments. I should have left VM

  • timhazelwood2
Tim Hazelwood (@timhazelwood2) reported from Bewdley, England

@virginmedia He has called a few times and I called once. They say there is an issue in the area. He's been without service since July and they said the issue would be resolved on 21st aug. ive been away and it's still not fixed. It looks like an issue with the box to me as a layman

  • k1El_w
Kiel (@k1El_w) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia @YodelOnline your ability to deliver equipment is shocking!!! The customer service you provide is even worse!!!

  • measlewolf
Steve Lees (@measlewolf) reported from Dudley, England

@virginmedia I’m currently on hold. My mum is in her 70’s and waited in for an engineer only for them to send a text 10mins before to say you were coming in the 26th. The original appointment was the 21st and her TV service has been down for well over a week.

  • kevmaslin
Kev Maslin (@kevmaslin) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia The ideal resolution would have been for VM to return the document as originally promised. We have dealt with other companies in this regard and all have been prompt and professional. Even the DWP accepted a photocopy of the POA. Why VM couldn't is entirely beyond me.

  • SusieWJr
Susan Johnson (@SusieWJr) reported from Himley, England

@virginmedia @WaynesWorld20_ How many areas have this 'intermittent' loss of service? O have it in DY6 too.

  • scbadham
Scott badham (@scbadham) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia really disappointed in the service lately all it does is keep dropping. I’ve had no Internet services for the last hour again the fourth time this week and it’s still not working

  • AdieJAMster
Adie Hughes (@AdieJAMster) reported from Swindon, England

@virginmedia Internet has been down again for the whole night. When I spoke to you about the recent last 6 times it’s been down you said there was no issue! Looks like whole of UK was down now yet our bills go UP & UP & UP! #virginmedia

  • Stephen12857059
Stephen Bennett (@Stephen12857059) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia I called 150 today to speak to a Supervisor regarding my bill. I was told I would receive a call within the hour. NOTHING. I agreed a contract 18/8/22 and the last two payments have been £65 & £75 more than agreed. This is shocking customer care and service.

  • kevmaslin
Kev Maslin (@kevmaslin) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia your treatment of us over a Lasting Power of Attorney issue has been appalling. Your people have actually SHREDDED a document costing hundreds of pounds despite us being told it had been returned. CISAS has been invoked and your CEO will be told . @MoneyTelegraph

  • AntonyHowlett
Antony Howlett (@AntonyHowlett) reported from Birmingham, England

@ChristineAllado @virginmedia I keep having this problem every week and nothing ever gets done and all you get back is we can't find a fault

  • TheShannimal_
TheShannimal🔜#i70 (@TheShannimal_) reported from Kidderminster, England

@MykeJD1 @virginmedia Gone down for a lot of people apparently

  • StuJonesMusic
Stu Jones (@StuJonesMusic) reported from Kidderminster, England

Hi @virginmedia, I am in Kidderminster, Worcestershire (DY11) and my Virgin Media broadband connection is very poor this week. I have checked your website & apparently there are no issues in my area. I have also restated my access point/router twice but no improvement.

  • measlewolf
Steve Lees (@measlewolf) reported from Dudley, England

@virginmedia Yes, the fault dates back from the 25th August and hopefully a fix will be made tomorrow, if not an engineer is booked for next week. When I finally got through the team were very helpful

  • timhazelwood2
Tim Hazelwood (@timhazelwood2) reported from Bewdley, England

@virginmedia Hi, following on from the resolution of the issue outlined above. My dad has received a full bill despite being assured by every employee we have spoken to that he wouldn't be charged for the period he was without service (more than two months). Please advise

  • charlwalden
𝕔𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕠𝕥𝕥𝕖🧸 (@charlwalden) reported from Halesowen, England

@virginmedia how am I supposed to book an engineer? There are issues with the quick start installation I have and need an engineer to set it up for me

  • HJMKent
Howard Martin 🇺🇦🇪🇺 (@HJMKent) reported from Kidderminster, England

@virginmedia You have just repeated, word for word, the last tweet you sent me, to which I replied! Pointless trying to have any conversation with @virginmedia because it just goes round in circles! The most appalling customer services in UK in my experience! No more tweets from you, please!

  • stumccullagh
Stuart McCullagh (@stumccullagh) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia But when a contract is agreed like a mortgage or a fixed energy deal surely the agreement should last the full term. I’ve had issues since September & been told I can’t leave due to being under a contract so why should my costs go up when I’ve got an agreement in place until Dec

  • ReissOmari
Gordé 🦩 (@ReissOmari) reported from Birmingham, England

And just like that my @virginmedia is off again, no internet whatsoever. Embarrassing service from them, very disappointed and frustrated.

  • jordyanslow1

@virginmedia any chance of an update regarding the outage in my local area regarding internet connection? It’s been down 2 days straight!

@virginmedia Second time in three days broadband has gone down in the CM16 area at circa 10pm. Are you unplugging it to save a few shillings? Such a poor service

  • gozzand
    AJG (@gozzand) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia surely as theyre not actually providing you the service contracted you should be able to cancel without penalty?

  • Vikk3rs146
    Mark vix (@Vikk3rs146) reported

@virginmedia No thinking about it ..this week was the final straw of your shite service and even lousier customer service ..I’m gone after 30 + years but loyal customers mean nothing to you lot .

  • britfoodfinder
    GB Food Finder (@britfoodfinder) reported

@LivThms @virginmedia That’s terrible. I find it quite unbelievable that @virginmedia will not accept this is a widespread problem and are not even admitting so, let alone try to resolve it for us all. How can we be expected to remain customers without the means to access our accounts?

  • nbevans
    Nathan B. Evans (@nbevans) reported

@BenZaranko This is just how network operators roll now in hyper-consumption economies I saw a Reddit thread the other day where one guy had ended up paying Virgin Media £130/month just for basic cable broadband. Just because he hadn't challenged any of the price increases for 3 years.

  • candysarahland
    Karl Harris (@candysarahland) reported

  • benev91
    Ben Evans (@benev91) reported

@virginmedia we have been without internet for a week now. Rinsed through mobile data. Fix date apparently (4th date given) now on 3rd June. We have received compensation but an easy fix would’ve been to give us unlimited data on our mobiles (both with o2) for the month.

  • EmmaSpurdle

@virginmedia Yes but the issue has been going on since Thursday at 10pm. It’s now Saturday!

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia Happened to me a few yrs ago. We had 3 wks outage, which they said was due to a part failing and would take 3 wks to get a new part. Left as soon as contract up and found a deal less than half what they were charging for same service
