@virginmedia (2/2) But still I’d like to somehow register a formal complaint against whoever deemed it unnecessary to let me know of the original cancellation
-
Nick ☭ (@GoatApocalypse) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia Difficult to access websites because the 4G reception at home is so poor!
-
🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia Repeatedly over several years. Get the same response each time. Nothing changes long term. I see from checks online that other people have the same issues so I’m now planning on leaving.
-
Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia My complaint would be about the level of service (or lack thereof) provided by the manager who cancelled my original order, not pricing
-
Howard Martin (@HJMKent) reported from Kidderminster, England
@markdmortimer I won't. But just fed up with @virginmedia's bloody awful website! They want me to order/upgrade box on line then make it impossible to do! All I get is "oops - something went wrong" messages for a week now! And if you phone you get someone the other side of the world! Useless!
-
Phil Woodward (@therealflopflip) reported from Kidderminster, England
@virginmedia for second week running have purchased a film from the media store, tells me it’s ready to watch and it won’t play keep getting errors and wants me to login, enter details and still doesn’t work! This service is so poor

phil carey (@supremepotato) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia well I have to go and pick up my daughter. Perhaps there will be someone in when I get back. For nearly £1000 to watch tv, show a little service ethos. #shamefulservice #trycallingme #isthereanypoint another 30 minutes wasted on hold
-

James Bird (@Jamesrkobird) reported from Walsall Wood, England
@virginmedia No fair play guys my service is better than ever. I won't be going anywhere
-
Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia I took a walk to clear my mind and decided all the hassle isn’t worth it. So I just rang to cancel the TV order. If you’d honoured the original request, you’d be getting an extra £7/month from me (and probably more if I upgraded my channels). I can live without it though
-
Aaron Maddocks (@BcfcMaddocks) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia i think your internet is possible the worst one out there at the moment; never works. Absolute shambles.
-
Howard Martin (@HJMKent) reported from Kidderminster, England
@virginmedia Since the printer worked fine before you installed the new 3 Hub & perusal of the internet shows that this is a common problem with this Virgin equipment, perhaps you would arrange for an engineer to come and rectify the problem at your cost! Please register this as a complaint!
-
Howard Martin (@HJMKent) reported from Kidderminster, England
@virginmedia You were going to send link 20 minutes ago - since then nothing! Too late now, I'm going out! Shocking service from Virgin as usual! I've had 3 failed attempts to order upgrade YOU insist I have (with treats of reduced service) & you make it like treading in treacle to achieve!
-
Howard Martin (@HJMKent) reported from Kidderminster, England
@virginmedia Still waiting! It's now after 4! You changed our old hub that worked fine - at your insistence - didn't properly set it up - my wife needs printer for work & uni course - now been trying to get you to sort it since Thursday & you don't honour your promises to do so! Poor service!
-
Matthew Clements-Wheeler (@MidlandsSBM) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia not pleased at all with your service. Despite three confirmation calls from you to me confirm what we needed, you have still not handled our house move correctly
-
Nick ☭ (@GoatApocalypse) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia No internet or TV service for 8 hours and engineer still "on the way" here in Edinburgh. Why lie about it? Can't you be honest and say we'll come tomorrow?
-
Kevin Burden (@kevinburden) reported
@Knibbsey @ruskin147 @virginmedia I was offered a first-generation Tivo box to test at home on behalf of the BBC in about 1998. I had already been a beta tester for the internet-connected PC at work and then at home. Sadly I got posted abroad and had to forgo my TV gadget treat. I finally bought one last year!
-
Rod Barnes (@RodBarnes1) reported
@virginmedia ok. Virgin media are crap! I'm not here to get help.. I'm here to vent!
-

@virginmedia need some help please
-
Gareth P 😷 (@ickoonite) reported
@ruskin147 @virginmedia No help to you but in the end I gave up on Virgin in Ealing and just switched to @Plusnet. The upstream is better anyway. (I now live somewhere with real fibre and think that will kill Virgin completely once it is rolled out nationwide.)
-
ඞ (@Howaboutsym) reported
@virginmedia help
-
rich. (@richard__ellis) reported
@ruskin147 @virginmedia Maybe time to upgrade to Virgin’s TV360 service (I did, it’s much, much better)? Although if that’s a Virgin box below, it might not be compatible - @virginmedia?
-
Jeff Bartrop (@jeffbartrop) reported
@SleepyPenguin1 @ruskin147 Hasn’t he had virtually no involvement with Virgin Media, mostly licensing the name when Telewest and NTL merged? Whilst there there is some IP going on with the OS, the channels themselves are still broadcast DVB-C. I had it for a year and didn’t have any problems like this.
-
SleepyPenguin (@SleepyPenguin1) reported
@ruskin147 Always remember Branson asking me if an IP address based television based broadcast system would work. Knowing that it would crash all of the time I told him it would definitely work. Never thought he would build Virgin Media. Hardly ever worked ever since.
