    @virginmedia Yes tried that and just called ur CS centre. Once again the person who took the call couldn’t care less. This is the 2nd time this month it’s gone down without any explanation or compensation

    @virginmedia No days no known problem but clearly with so many people waking up this morning and posting on twitter issues there must be an issue somewhere. Eg one of your switches down or dhcp server not issuing an IP to the hub so it can’t continue

    Senior manager at @virginmedia has no customer skills what so ever telling me his going to terminate my contract because of an issue with my bank card that they have since taken payment from month after month same issue defo will not reccomend to anyone

    @Mike__Polak @BBCOne Virgin Media also has to migrate its customers from PSTN to digital voice (ie VoIP); in the event of a power cut the Virgin customer’s router would lose power, so yes, in same boat. Virgin does also have provision for battery backed-up emergency calls via cellular network.

    Anyone else attempting to cancel their internet contract at @virginmedia and only being offered a new package and then disconnected? This is literally the worst company for customer service and providing a service I have ever had to waste my time on - NEVER USE VIRGIN MEDIA!!!!!!

    @virginmedia I have no faith you will - 12 months been paying premium for poor internet - now 3rd day in attempting to cancel my contract via whatsapp but your staff offer me a new package and then disconnect even tho i explicitly ask for the ending of my contract. Not even half of the story.

    @virginmedia You cut me off at 11pm last night, and then text me this morning saying my new service is activated,plugged it all in and nothing. It needs activating from Virgins end, but they’re telling me I have to wait 4 hours for a technician to call me…someone wfh and it’s less than ideal

    @virginmedia Disconnections. It's ok, you can't do more than you can do. We've sent a formal letter of complaint in, so I'm sure we'll be contacted on that basis at some point in the next year or two
