Made a complaint to @virginmedia 10 days ago via their online service with a 7 day anticipated response time and yet have heard nothing since the acknowledgement of my complaint. This basically sums up my experience over the past year of ineffective response to our issues.

@virginmedia Broadband issues since May 2018. Multiple calls to customer service with no permanent fix. Last time I called I was asked the same questions repeatedly then cut off. Want a new hub that works and a bill review as it’s gone from £65 to £79 since Sept 2018!

@timofnewbury I've been having a problem since yesterday in Bournemouth BH6. Line is flip flopping every minute or so between 100Mbps and 1Mbps. @virginmedia status says everything ok, hub reboot no help, and finding a way to talk to them these days seems hopeless :(

@virginmedia pull a master stroke. They make their broadband **** and not fit for purpose. The clever bit is they make it near impossible to tell them it’s **** and not fit for purpose. Waiting times, mid morning, 1hr at least, just to tell them it doesn’t work. #virginmedia

@virginmedia A V6 box was arranged to be sent to me over a week ago, the wrong box was sent. The lady I spoke to said she would need to raise a complaint so the correct box could be sent, this conversation was Monday morning.

@virginmedia Yes we've done all the checks, customer service have now said to us that the engineer on Tuesday has unplugged us from the green box and can't fix it till Saturday, therefore we'll be making a formal complaint for the lies and appalling service we have received.
