@virginmedia First thing I did, and I run them regularly. Only 53.46 Mbps download and just 9.99 upload on a supposedly 100Mbps service! On a wifi laptop right next to the router it’s just 23.43 and 10.08

@GardenCity_Mark @virginmedia Just to let you know Mark, if your mom is considered vulnerable, the law now states that broadband companies must give priority for fixing issues like this, as it’s often their only or main form of communication. Just in case you encounter problems on Friday

@virginmedia are absolutely useless. Have over 100 properties with Virgin Media Broadband, and you’d think they’d attempt to fix issues and keep our future custom. Safe to say we’re looking for another supplier if there are any recommendations...

@virginmedia hello. Since I signed up in may I have never been able to log into my account. I never received the welcome email etc so don’t know my account or customer number. I have tried calling and they said they resent the email but nothing. What can I do?

@virginmedia Every time I see these adverts I just laugh, but the sad thing is it isn’t funny paying for a service that constantly disconnects, stutters or is generally inconsistent. Your latest ad slogan ‘stay connected’ is a joke, and your email security is archaic, it’s equally laughable.

@virginmedia Network security warnings, poor speed (even on direct cabled link to router), and we need a wifi booster which with the broadband, phone and tv package I believe is included. Still on hold after two hours! Wasted yesterday waiting for a response on so-called ‘live chat’!

@virginmedia Yes, I did this and it hasn’t reset, the wifi name is coming up the same as well as the guest network I set up, and I can’t access the website for the hub either, it won’t load at all! Ran a test and it says theres a problem and that you’re working on it but not what or how long

@virginmedia Don’t try and pass the buck! It’s NOT a windows issue, it ONLY occurs on this Virgin network!

@virginmedia After more than FOUR HOURS on the phone I eventually got someone competent from billing to confirm I am eligible for one free booster and someone else to talk me through fixing the security issue. You seriously need to prioritise vulnerable customers!

@virginmedia Can you please tell me why 02 have taken a payment for a sim only contract. I thought this was included with the Volt package at no extra cost. I'm technically down by £25 as apposed to saving money which was the original choice of changing packages.

@financialombuds Waited a year to make a complaint about @virginmedia to be sent emails requesting me to wait for a adjudication, to be fobbed off with a decision which clearly it was not investigated properly. This from the experts? I would like to discuss with managers.

How can Virgin media repeatedly lie and change notes to suit, they agree £50 credit due to missed appointments by them and a rubbish service and then say no such agreement was made or discussed. Shocking that they can exploit, avoid virgin like the plague @virginmedia @TheSun

RB

@virginmedia Yep, constant lag, buffering, poor WiFi signal (even with booster). Tried all the usual remedies recommended by yourselves and it never gets any better. It's been ok up until when I've recently renewed my contract and then since then it's been woeful to say the least

@financialombuds IMAGINE: the complaint is not fully investigated and the feedback EVIDENTLY Shows this @BBCWatchdog and @virginmedia just are able to continue with an absolutely poor service mistake after mistake. We as consumers have no real help, although it can mess us up.

@virginmedia I called back and spoke to a manager to report the exact time of the incident. Hopefully he deals with individual and trains him. The manager also resolved my issue, but it took approx. 2 hrs in total for a relatively simple issue. Doesn't really inspire me to use Virgin ever!
