@virginmedia Trying to work from home with an internet connection regularly dropping out is a nightmare. This is an ongoing problem yet no service fault in my area. I am paying for a service I am not consistently receiving. Been a customer for many years but thinking of moving...

  • james_h_kerr
James Kerr (@james_h_kerr) reported from Studley, England

@KRIPTO99 @virginmedia I’m currently surveying my village on our local Facebook group. Loads of people having the same issue, but nothing coming up as a ‘known network issue’. I agree - it’s making working from home challenging.

  • Markycot
Mark Cottrill (@Markycot) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia Absolutely atrocious customer service! Waited for my Hub 4 to arrive as we are now paying for highest broadband, it arrives and has wrong power cable inside, phoned to sort, on hold for 20 mins then speak to someone who has IT issues and has put us on 40 mins hold!

  • HelenAbdullah08
💙 Helen Abdullah 💙 (@HelenAbdullah08) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia Didn’t get a response then told another dept would contact. All we want is the service we are paying for. We need a new v6 box the replacement sent doesn’t work properly(set top box) we cannot use catch up and the picture is intermittently pixilated.

  • Ade1701
Ade1701 (@Ade1701) reported from Dorridge, England

@virginmedia After more than FOUR HOURS on the phone I eventually got someone competent from billing to confirm I am eligible for one free booster and someone else to talk me through fixing the security issue. You seriously need to prioritise vulnerable customers!

@virginmedia haha you mean the same forum where they didn’t answer me for days last time, and they didn’t resolve anything???? waste of time. they told me to check the speed and check for area issues. absolutely awful customer service when i’ve been complaining about this for WEEKS now.

@virginmedia Hi there, I have just dialled 150 but it’s constantly engaged. My grandad is having problems with his tv and I need to get it sorted. A technician came 2 weeks ago but it’s gone back to the original problem, how can I contact you regarding this???

@virginmedia service status checker ……… nope, That’s not working either

  • notdodgy
Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia You only pay out for a total loss of service. So it can be unusable but still limping along and you won't pay out. Personally I am hoping for another provider to get around to rolling out fibre in my area.

  • David_Charlton1
David Charlton (@David_Charlton1) reported from Stratford-upon-Avon, England

@virginmedia quite upset at the lack of any customer service I'm receiving. I've been a customer for over a decade, and you can't be bothered to contact me about my complaints! Will certainly be shopping around when my contract is up.

  • lorna_conway

@vmbusiness Every morning around 9:30 this week, our business broadband has stopped working. Lights look normal and we need to power cycle to get service back. What's going on? Postcode B90 3BD Do you have a back up option available as this affects card payments.

  • bjwgorman

@virginmedia Always but it makes no difference. There have been issues where I live since the start of lockdown. I have made a complaint but it’s gone no where.

  • Ade1701
Ade1701 (@Ade1701) reported from Dorridge, England

@virginmedia Why is it your call centres and your web chat give no answer for hours on end, and your website constantly falls over returning error messages.... “Whoops! Something went wrong!” Your customer service is a joke!

  • stumccullagh

@virginmedia can you help me cancel a engineer booking as everything is working now

  • Malcolm_Sillick
    Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!

  • VirginMediaNews
    Virgin Media News (@VirginMediaNews) reported

A persistent hum is keeping families awake at night in Clondalkin. Residents living near the Echelon data centre have complained of broken sleep and frustration, with the EPA instructing the company to investigate the source of the noise and measures to reduce it. More on Virgin Media PLAY.

  • jdonascimento

@virginmedia I moved house on August 28th and Virgin has been unable to connect my internet service. It's terrible service; I've wasted hours talking to them with no results. #Sutton #England #SOS

  • PaulOBrienKil
    Paul O'Brien (@PaulOBrienKil) reported

@VMSportIE I strongly urge anyone thinking of subscribing to @virginmedia to NOT do it. Took over a hour to get through to customer service & they still won't fix their mistake. Shambles of an organisation.

  • PaddySw99745534
    Paddy Sweeney (@PaddySw99745534) reported

@virginmedia @_JIMBO55 You still have not got it ! A customer has problems with your service who has messaged, emailed and called VM but you still have not dealt with their issues. Take your out of date equipment out of my home and I will move on to a better provider. For an 82 year old unacceptable.

  • kellyokid
    Steve Kelly (@kellyokid) reported

@MelJanie @virginmedia I was with Virgin for years but got treated like a piece of crap on their shoe with multiple issues so I’ve left! Customer service is non existent! They just don’t care!

  • HNMZY16
    Harry M (@HNMZY16) reported

@Johnty14 @virginmedia It's not Virgin Media themselves that do this btw. Some outside leaflet drop company gets hired to do it and they don't give a **** where they put that leaflet.

  • eboders
