Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Mr Moanivator (@MrMoanivator) reported@virginmedia My broadband hasn't been working since around 11am today. All week, Virgin has said that work was due to be completed in my area around 11:15am today. It's now saying that the hub is the problem. I've restarted and reset it, but it's still not working 🤬
-
Niecie (@devorahfurman) reported@virginmedia @JohnMac22756388 We can read what the text says but why are people getting it who haven’t reported a problem and please don’t talk about DM s we need to send because nobody at virgin can ever help when we do !!!!
-
Stephen Maddock (@stephenm68) reportedDay 23 without our @virginmedia broadband (or phone, or TV) so I’ve celebrated by spending 90 minutes on hold with the “Customer Services” team and responding to the email from the Complaints team telling me that they had fixed my issue (spoiler: they hadn’t). Pathetic!
-
Gary Adams (@GazzaAdams) reportedHi @virginmedia This latest update appears to directly contradict the update you sent me earlier today. At 12:57, I was told that an engineer **was already on site and working to fix the problem**, with an estimated repair time of **18:00 today, 19/08/2026**. At 15:24, I am now being told that you have identified the problem and that an engineer **is on their way**, with the estimated repair time moved to **14:10 on 21/08/2026**. This is the original date that was stated 2 weeks ago. Could you please provide an accurate explanation of what is actually happening with fault **F012421201**? In particular: * Was an engineer on site earlier today, as stated? * If so, why is an engineer now apparently only “on their way”? * What has happened to cause the estimated repair time to move from this evening to Friday afternoon? * Is 21/08/2026 at 14:10 now a reliable estimate, or is this simply an automated placeholder? I appreciate that faults can take longer than expected to repair. What is frustrating is receiving contradictory information that makes it impossible to understand the actual status of the fault. Please provide a clear and factual update rather than another automated status message.

⭐️LittleOne⭐️ (@missinflower) reported@virginmedia Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! Been waiting a month for broadband! Awful!

putasinghonit (@putasinghonit) reportedAnyone ever had @virginmedia charge them for a movie they never purchased? Theres no history on my app, box or even an email confirmation of said purchase mind you - just a charge on my bill for £17.99 which they say was purchased with a pin number on the box.
-

-
Sammy Mcfarlane (@SammyMcfarlane1) reported@virginmedia @alexand979677 BTW, it is an absolute farce that o can’t sign in to check my bills unless I get another email address that isn’t a virgin one. Who thought that one out?
-
