  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia Every morning around 9:30 this week, our business broadband has stopped working. Lights look normal and we need to power cycle to get service back. What's going on? Postcode B90 3BD Do you have a back up option available as this affects card payments.

  • AaronAlluyn Aaron (@AaronAlluyn) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia @itsonlymegs virgin says tv had issues but nothing about internet.. Our internet has been unusable all week, I've been unable to attend any work meetings due to the extremely poor internet quality.. So what's up with that, whole week of trouble but guess I'll just pay as usual..

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia once again on demand not working. How are you supposed to watch a sky movies film when it stops every 10 seconds to spin a wheel for 10 seconds. Service checker says its fine and the box has been rebooted.

  • DeanCondliffe dean condliffe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@DeanCondliffe) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Poor internet. 500+ disconnections in a week when I’m paying for the highest package. Tried to downgrade package to save money, told I can’t. List is endless & all on file, supposedly!

  • meclareyb Clare (@meclareyb) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia you claim we get 100 whatever’s per second. So tell me. Why my internet doesn’t work. I can’t stay on a zoom as my “internet is unstable” and live tv “jumps” not streams. You sent somebody to resolve last time. It’s now repeated this behaviour again. Why do that?

  • DeanCondliffe dean condliffe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@DeanCondliffe) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia No. This whole conversation is about VM saying they will contact me to discuss my complaint and VM thinking it’s ok not to call and the complaint will just fizzle out. Do you have an email address I can write to please?

  • DeanCondliffe dean condliffe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@DeanCondliffe) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Still waiting on a call from 26th April. Spoke to customer services several times. No success. Really annoying that it’s so difficult for somebody to pick the phone up and talk. Perhaps VM know that they are in the wrong. @Ofcom thoughts? Always collect payments in time eh, Dean

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia It's not faulty. It's not a wifi or broadband issue. You don't have enough backhaul capacity.

  • akz147 Aqeel Butt (@akz147) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia here’s my complaint reference .. C-280522210 .. let me know how much of a shite you still don’t give.. you over charged me again after telling me you’re not.. you’re worse the @BorisJohnson #broadband #virginmedia

  • DeanCondliffe dean condliffe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@DeanCondliffe) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia They lied and told me that they had called the house phone. They hadn’t. They updated my contact number to my mobile. I chased this 4 days later and was told my number had been updated and the complaint was still open and I will receive a call. Guess what?

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia Postcode was entered and I was logged in. Running a test reported no problem.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Matt51376296 Matthew (@Matt51376296) reported

@virginmedia is there anyway of cancelling a contract without calling. My Mum is terrified as they’re always so pushy and simply won’t cancel without the hard sell. Disgusting really

  • throg Martin Ingram (@throg) reported

@virginmedia Nice swerve, but utterly missing the point. Ignoring the fact that YOU insisted on using WhatsApp and initiated the chat, not me, what on Earth are you doing using a third party platform for this? Why are you not keeping all of this on your password-protected customer portal?

  • Gilly_flaherty Gilly Flaherty (@Gilly_flaherty) reported

Disgusting service from @virginmedia tonight. Mum calls them up asking to disconnect due to dads death & her circumstances changing. Their answer - “that’s not our problem, as your dad wasn’t the account holder you can leave today but you still need to pay £288 to leave” 🤯

  • madnutter0102 Colin Mathie (@madnutter0102) reported

Anyone on my timeline that uses Virgin Media for the internet, how are you finding the speed, mine is really slow at present + is taking an age for pages to load?

  • Clossovsky C l o s s (@Clossovsky) reported

@virginmedia How about meeting your speed requirements to your customers as per your contracts. Thankfully I’m not a current customer.

  • GeezFut FUT Geez (@GeezFut) reported

@virginmedia my broadband keeps cutting out for 30 mins at a time. Service status says it’s fine.. can’t speak to anyone as can’t find details. Getting fed up. Help.

  • maver_87_safc Craig Mather (@maver_87_safc) reported

@virginmedia are there going to be any issues with the sky football red button tonight as it seems I pay all this money a month for my package and you can never get the midweek football correct

  • Sym0n Simon (@Sym0n) reported

@virginmedia £7 more a month? SEVEN ******* POUNDS EXTRA A ******* MONTH FOR **** ALL EXTRA?! @richardbranson Are you smoking crack? £84 increase a year for **** reliability, more downtime AND NOTHING ELSE. **** this. **** Virgin Media. **** greedy *****.

  • _emil Emil Paun (@_emil) reported

@virginmedia There was no fault (apart from a temporary fix by another engineer following openreach’s blunder) until the cable was re pulled. It’s becoming frustrating having to talk to so many people and none of you talk amongst yourselves. Anyway thanks for trying

  • Grumpybeeman Christopher Brown (@Grumpybeeman) reported

@virginmedia @ethansgrumps Why do I need to authenticate to view this info. Just make it publicly available. One less hurdle to jump through especially as people may be using other devices to see if there is an issue. Why am I having to explain basic stuff like this to you?
