@virginmedia broadband down again. Obviously a network fault, but system has booked an engineer visit. Given that my contract is up for renewal and the cost has nearly doubled, I think I am in the market for a new provider.

@virginmedia Tried the text service. No response. So in the unlikely event of an engineer visit later, at least I tried.

Waiting over 22 minutes thus far for @virginmedia to answer phone, as I have no broadband service. Service suddenly went when watching catch up tv. 🙄

@virginmedia utterly appalling customer service once again. 15 minutes on hold to cancel a contract miss-sold to me.

@MrCMorley @virginmedia If it’s anything like the ongoing outage in Four Oaks they won’t bother to contact you. I checked they had my correct details and I’ve had no updates. I’ve now cancelled my contract.

@virginmedia Your website now shows: Network issues might be affecting TV and broadband services at the moment. Our engineer is working to fix the problem. Broadband is working again...

@stephanemassey @VirginMediaCorp You should leave Virgin Media, I can pretty much guarantee the service won’t improve and you’ll be left with no internet on a regular basis.

@virginmedia up to their scams again and when you get through all the button pressing on the phone and are past from one to another then when you start asking questions they hang up .

@Cee_langie8852 @virginmedia Yes, they are useless. No service most of yesterday and as of 0530 this morning, no service again. I’ve spent hours waiting to get through to the technical team. It’s time @ofcom got involved.

@virginmedia Nonsense. If you valued me as a customer I would not have gone through 3 months of unanswered calls and when I did speak to staff- accusations of lying. Check your records before cut and pasting bland replies.

@_gl_lxuise @SkyUK @virginmedia Same problem here. They keep saying they have fixed the issue when they clearly haven’t. They are good at putting prices up but not at fixing issues. I’m going back to Sky.

@MrPaulTreadwell @virginmedia @Ofcom I’ve just spoken to a very rude lady in retentions. Have been lied to, apparently I was on the internet all day yesterday, I was in the office.

@virginmedia tremendous service had problems with my tv service for 3 weeks now which you still haven’t sorted and now you put my bill up and to try and sort it all out I’ve now been on hold for an hour shocking

@Poxo01 We have been battling rising costs and poor service with @virginmedia for years. Have argued down the contract repeatedly due to issues. Just got the internet and home control stable again and then get another price increase letter. Fed up with them.

@virginmedia B744LG my neighbour is also having issues. Internet keeps dropping out so there’s clearly some sort of intermittent fault. I’ve wasted 45 mins on the phone trying to report it.

@BFILeigh @virginmedia @SkyUK I don’t know you but Virgin Media as a company are so bad they look Sky look amazing. If you can cancel and find an alternative I’d do it.

@ChrisScottBtn I’m fed up of this process year on year with an ongoing problematic service. Three complaints, two left unanswered. And then the onus is on you to chase! I cannot be bothered with them anymore. That’s the level customer service I’ve come to expect from @virginmedia now.

@JuusoTolonen Been using Virgin Media for around 2 years with little to no issues (granted, that does technically make me one of the lucky ones I think) lot of people further South often talk of brief outages but nothing massive. Download & Upload speeds are consistently incredible tho!

@virginmedia Internet been down since 14:30 and not likely to be back up until 18:30. Can you tell us what happened? I am working from home and have to work those hours back which is very inconvenient.

@virginmedia Thank you for the dates. We will definitely be cancelling as our contract is up for renewal. Taking this long to fix an issue is not acceptable.

@virginmedia Are Virgin having issues today? YouTube seems to be taking an age to buffer, webpages aren't loading, text messages are taking longer to come through. A colleague of mine has asked the same

@virginmedia Thankyou. I think its time someone be held accountable for egregious malpractice that plagues the ISP market. Just because I am a domestic customer I get penalised because I don't have an accounts manager to contact a senior manager directly. @virginmedia

@virginmedia One more thing to ask… i’ve received a new SIM card a few weeks back that needed activating however because I never actually used the number, I didn’t bother, now that I actually need to use the SIM, will it still work? It said to activate within 14 days I think but I didn’t

@virginmedia I require a webchat with your customer relations team. I’ve accessed the website and it wants me to continue on WhatsApp, I do not want to go through that again. I have a laundry list of problems (all of your making) and they need sorting.
