-
Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Birmingham, England
@ThreeUKSupport hi. My mobile number starts with 07305. It originally was issued by @virginmedia. I’ve had some companies try to call me (including the landline where I work) saying calls to this number can’t be connected or the number isn’t available. Is there an easy fix?

MJP ☀️ (@mrmjprice) reported from Birmingham, England
@deepblue1990 @virginmedia Power users are utter bastards to provide support for tbf

@virginmedia Would it be ok to not just send me the same message each time but tell me how you’re going to make sure the service what it should be? Both my wife and my work is utterly dependent on good internet access

Adwoa Agyeiwaa (@tweet_estaa) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia If these pods don’t work, I’ll back with more reasons for why people should avoid using your rubbish service. It’s pathetic really that I have to come on Twitter to do this for you to be bothered just because of reputation. Disgraceful

Paul Martin (@PM_PaulMartin) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia Tring to get a cable moved you’ve been out and said next day that was over a month ago WTF?

@virginmedia @m1kewh1te83 Well you see i have asked multiple times for a replacement HUB and told i was not allowed a HUB 4 unless i bought your 1Gbps service. Now why would i buy that if your current services are down regularly and wont replace my hub? Twice in the same week it has been down!!

Arty Mikey Illustration (@Arty_Mikey) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia your broadband SUCKS. It's no wonder a local FB community group is full of people asking for suggestions for better internet providers.
-
Adwoa Agyeiwaa (@tweet_estaa) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia I’ve been having issues with my wifi since I got it last year and now we’ve been talked into getting a “pod” for an extra £5 p/m only for the guy to say it still doesn’t guarantee wifi speed. Whatever you lot are smoking please quit.

Tricia (@Tricia__Winspur) reported from Birmingham, England
Hi @virginmedia any issues I B14 as my Internet is not working. I've done diagnostic tests etc & it reports no issues. My Hub has been flashing green for an hour, the Internet kicks in & then drops out again. I am a home worker and have lost an hours working time so far. Help.
-
Tim Evans (@TimEvans1503) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia yet again last night and now this morning your service is t working despite the large amount we pay you every month. The two of us work from home - you are costing us business. If you can’t provide a decent consistency service then admit it and we’ll change provider
-
Tim Evans (@TimEvans1503) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia big thanks for your rubbish service that meant I dropped out of giving a lecture part way through - we pay a small fortune and expect decent service
-
MJP ☀️ (@mrmjprice) reported from Birmingham, England
Turns out turning your @virginmedia Hub 4 off and on again resets the 2.4GHz network name.
-
Tim Evans (@TimEvans1503) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia To be honest this happens too often then often our speeds are not what we pay for. I work from home so costs me business when this happens. Rather then getting me to check things, I just need yo-yo to provide us with a regular consistent service at the speeds we actually pay for
-
Charlotte (@charlottetomtom) reported from Solihull, England

@ross_minton @1Mr_W @virginmedia That's the real issue. We considered switching just couldn't risk a total loss of service as I've been working from home since March. They know they've got you over a barrel. When this is over people will remember the companies that treated them badly.
-
David Hodnett (@NHS_DavidH) reported
I couldn’t regret going with @virginmedia more at the start of lockdown. Internet is slow and zero staff to talk to... communications company can’t get home working to work....
-
Mpmrsm (@mpmrsm) reported
@Ofcom @CISASUK I have a pending complaint with #virginmedia since September 2020. They have allegedly sent a deadlock on 4 separate occasions but I have not received any 1 of them. Without a DL letter I can’t cannot approach you to assist-how do I get around this? #disappointed
-
Lee Stewart (@ls_1983) reported
@virginmedia Apologies don’t help me explain to my boss that I can’t work today, doesn’t answer why I’m paying for a service you can’t provide? Also, when an issue is more complex, this is known before the expected completion time. More action less apologies needed. want a service that works

@virginmedia I wish I knew how bad virgin media internet was I would never have used your service. It’s absolute crap, I moved home and virgin was the quickest network I could get access for. I used to be with BT and ok they were not perfect but they were no way as bad as this virgin crap!
