Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England@vmbusiness Every morning around 9:30 this week, our business broadband has stopped working. Lights look normal and we need to power cycle to get service back. What's going on? Postcode B90 3BD Do you have a back up option available as this affects card payments.
-
Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England@virginmedia You only pay out for a total loss of service. So it can be unusable but still limping along and you won't pay out. Personally I am hoping for another provider to get around to rolling out fibre in my area.
-
Ade1701 (@Ade1701) reported from Dorridge, England@virginmedia After more than FOUR HOURS on the phone I eventually got someone competent from billing to confirm I am eligible for one free booster and someone else to talk me through fixing the security issue. You seriously need to prioritise vulnerable customers!
-
Will Cooling (@willcooling) reported from Solihull, England@virginmedia your TV Go App doesn't ******* work. Won't accept my login. Won't let me change it. Won't let me register a new account. ******* joke
-
Andrew Tatton 🔰 #GlazersOut 🔰 (@adtatton) reported from Wythall, England@virginmedia poor doesn’t come anywhere near the description needed for the service you provide for a long term customer who simply needs the OLD Superhub 2ac router replacing. I simply need a replacement sent quickly but must wait for an engineer on Tuesday 4th January.
-
Frugalista (@frugalista1) reported from Dorridge, England@virginmedia Typical Virgin Media response. Passing me on. Not actually solving the problem. I will never come back to @virginmedia and will advise all my friends never to think of using you.
-
Ade1701 (@Ade1701) reported from Dorridge, England@virginmedia Network security warnings, poor speed (even on direct cabled link to router), and we need a wifi booster which with the broadband, phone and tv package I believe is included. Still on hold after two hours! Wasted yesterday waiting for a response on so-called ‘live chat’!
-
Stuart McCullagh (@stumccullagh) reported from Solihull, England@IanMurphy111 @virginmedia Been with them since Telewest I don’t know why I stay false promises poor service
-
Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Solihull, England@virginmedia 2/ Despite that issue being due to a junction connection in the cabinet in the street, the op seems to refuse to look at that and just wants to reboot my router. Also claims it is due to my use of Modem Mode. Is there anyone in the UK I can contact regarding this?
-
Mark Baldwin (@mark_xc) reported from Solihull, England@virginmedia why are you not supporting key workers through these challenging times? Both my wife & I are key workers supporting the NHS & the food industry from home yet you fail to fix our Broadband issues for 3 wks. We can’t work. You just fob us off @piersmorgan @BorisJohnson

-
Cranberry Pointy Toes Kazi54 🌸🧚🏻🙂 (@KarenJukes2) reported@Benleo @SenseiBear44 @virginmedia They are awful !! I ditched them years ago for the most awful customer service !
-
Clareactually (@ActuallyClarex) reportedFk sake #virginmedia not working yet again. That’s made my mind up. Cancel it is.
-
Leon Spight (@leonspight) reported@Benleo Slim consolation however I’ve been a VirginMedia customer for 20+ years and other than a blip back in 2019 due to no fault of VM the service has been fantastic. But this isn’t good enough, come on @virginmedia do better
-
UAVHive (@UAVHive) reported@Benleo I have worked in telecoms customer service so can vouch for Virgin Media being (in my view) the worst in the industry. They billed me twice for a single month & made me pay for equipment I'd already returned. I was overjoyed to cancel.
-
Carl S (@screwy73) reported@virginmedia I no its not a fault free service but your faults are very regular as i said 3 to 4 times a week compared to once in a blue moon on a BT line , and when i do a check nothing wrong with my line , so it must be my router which works fine till you have a fault 🙄
-
D (@idczn) reportedThe only contract I ever signed with Virgin Media was in 2018, and it continues to this day. I have never changed or upgraded it; I only occasionally tried to report home network connection issues. It turns out that in November 2024, a two-year contract was accepted, which I only found out about in 2025 when I wanted to cancel their services. I couldn't leave them XD However, checking who did this on my behalf and when (because it certainly wasn't me) was impossible, as I had no way to log into my Virgin account Now I cansee- the accepted contract has different number? There is no any signature of mine- and information that was sent to e-mail: back then controlled by hacker
-
John Parsons (@snipsy1) reported@RobRollin2 @virginmedia Yes 2026 and only guarantee speeds for a wired connection. Signal strength has got lower with new routers generating extra revenue whilst customers suffer and pay
-
Shaun (@shauny67) reported@virginmedia @RobRollin2 If you have the 1gb they are free plus most WiFi issues are due to devices & not the service. Plus you can if want put in modem mode & use your own equipment
-
Rough Shuffle 🔀 (@Rough_Shuffle) reported@Benleo @virginmedia I recently had to contact them. Their CS is the worst ever experienced. It's like it's ran entirely by 12 year olds on work experience. I'm horrified at how bad it is. Initially contacted because of a litany of f'ups on their part. CS seems completely dethatched from the company.

Rob York (@BurlingtonBert0) reported@hamsterpranks @virginmedia Virgin - sucking the life out of humanity since inception. Thank **** I got rid years ago.
