@virginmedia after 3.5hrs on the phone to your teams in every country from around the world today with horrendous customer service, can I get a phone number for a manager or complaints department in ENGLAND. Already filed complaint with communications ombudsman for Ofcom.

  • EvanD Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Birmingham, England

@ThreeUKSupport hi. My mobile number starts with 07305. It originally was issued by @virginmedia. I’ve had some companies try to call me (including the landline where I work) saying calls to this number can’t be connected or the number isn’t available. Is there an easy fix?

  • Tricia__Winspur Tricia (@Tricia__Winspur) reported from Birmingham, England

Hi @virginmedia any issues I B14 as my Internet is not working. I've done diagnostic tests etc & it reports no issues. My Hub has been flashing green for an hour, the Internet kicks in & then drops out again. I am a home worker and have lost an hours working time so far. Help.

  • tweet_estaa Adwoa Agyeiwaa (@tweet_estaa) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia That’s not what my issue is. WHY IS THE INTERNET SO INCONSISTENT??? - and threatening to charge a £240 to cancel the contract for wifi that does work is very poor customer service!

  • TimEvans1503 Tim Evans (@TimEvans1503) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia big thanks for your rubbish service that meant I dropped out of giving a lecture part way through - we pay a small fortune and expect decent service

  • TimEvans1503 Tim Evans (@TimEvans1503) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Would it be ok to not just send me the same message each time but tell me how you’re going to make sure the service what it should be? Both my wife and my work is utterly dependent on good internet access

  • SwannTara Tara-Louise Swann (@SwannTara) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia for 3 days now after 9pm internet keeps dropping, keep having to reset the hub 4 in the last hour it has occurred 4 times, run tests no issues in the area apparently yet on local fb group loads of people having same issue in B24 Birmingham !

  • tweet_estaa Adwoa Agyeiwaa (@tweet_estaa) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia If these pods don’t work, I’ll back with more reasons for why people should avoid using your rubbish service. It’s pathetic really that I have to come on Twitter to do this for you to be bothered just because of reputation. Disgraceful

  • chadlymasterson Chad Masters (@chadlymasterson) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Superhub 3.0 , it has been giving me grief for years, and had dns / ip resolving issues and so many others. All fixed with a hard reset, don’t wanna be resetting my router constantly

  • tweet_estaa Adwoa Agyeiwaa (@tweet_estaa) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia I’ve been having issues with my wifi since I got it last year and now we’ve been talked into getting a “pod” for an extra £5 p/m only for the guy to say it still doesn’t guarantee wifi speed. Whatever you lot are smoking please quit.

  • mrmjprice MJP ☀️ (@mrmjprice) reported from Birmingham, England

Turns out turning your @virginmedia Hub 4 off and on again resets the 2.4GHz network name.

  • chadlymasterson Chad Masters (@chadlymasterson) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia @m1kewh1te83 Well you see i have asked multiple times for a replacement HUB and told i was not allowed a HUB 4 unless i bought your 1Gbps service. Now why would i buy that if your current services are down regularly and wont replace my hub? Twice in the same week it has been down!!

  • tweet_estaa Adwoa Agyeiwaa (@tweet_estaa) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia They said they’ve run diagnostics and found no issues so basically I’m making it up in my head ???? Tbh this is terrible and a waste of time paying my bill

  • TimEvans1503 Tim Evans (@TimEvans1503) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia yet again last night and now this morning your service is t working despite the large amount we pay you every month. The two of us work from home - you are costing us business. If you can’t provide a decent consistency service then admit it and we’ll change provider

  • JohnBroadbent3 JohnB (@JohnBroadbent3) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia another taste of shocking service from VM Internet down costing us big money on the phone for over an hour and then cut us off.

  • mrmjprice MJP ☀️ (@mrmjprice) reported from Birmingham, England

  • Jonesy2310 Chris Jones (@Jonesy2310) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia It was an issue other people i. The area also on @virginmedia as well. Your initial troubleshooting script to question my connection speaks volumes though

  • hurricanehorton Michael Horton (@hurricanehorton) reported

@virginmedia I had rebooted, and it got stuck half way through set up. After ten minutes I got an error message. Not that I'd expect a company that tried to get rid of the UKTV channels to save money to care that much about customer support. Still seems to be working now. Thanks for the help.

  • grumppot GrumpPot 😷 (@grumppot) reported

@virginmedia You keep banging on about forums and texts, but it just doesn't work in some cases. I've had TWO MONTHS of trying to get my TV service sorted and most of it couldn't have been done without talking to someone And if it could, I'd probably still have no TV and be dead from stress!

  • leedumble Lee (@leedumble) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia We have 2 boosters fittted in the house we have spoken to customer service and they said they would come back to us

  • Bigdave_lewis Dave Lewis (@Bigdave_lewis) reported

@virginmedia don’t suppose you have a contact number I can discuss leaving you that doesn’t cut out every time? So far I have wasted just under an hour and a half just trying to get through to a person 😡

  • McCullochNick Nick McCulloch (@McCullochNick) reported

@virginmedia No. It won’t connect. Tried to give the ‘connection rejected’ status codes from the router to support - just not interested in taking them. Neighbours service intermittent at best. Friend in SE1 intermittent.

  • matthews_nigel nigel matthews (@matthews_nigel) reported

    Shocking service from @virginmedia

  • Daiintheskye David Barfoot (@Daiintheskye) reported

@virginmedia It isn't all that's available. New customers get offered much better deals. It's ok though I cancel in a fortnight and go with Sky 👍

  • Karlie47797998 Karlie (@Karlie47797998) reported

@virginmedia @BigIssue I’m not sure why the number the lady gave me is constantly engaged. I just want to pay an old bill I don’t have account number anymore . Can someone help

  • Daiintheskye David Barfoot (@Daiintheskye) reported

@virginmedia I have she offered me an amazing deal where instead of paying£64 a month I could pay £81 for the exact same service. She didn't seem to understand this was not a good deal.
