  • lorna_conway Doonie (@lorna_conway) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia It's not an issues according to the site. It's working on wired connections. I'll be looking for compensation after this. If the costomer tells you there's a problem then take their word they're the ones paying you, why would they spend money other than to get what they pay for.

  • lorna_conway Doonie (@lorna_conway) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia Friday I booked an engineer as the WiFi on our hub keeps dropping. At the same time I upgraded my package. This includes tech help. Since Friday I've had no WiFi. I tried website chat but got dropped I've tried calling but was waiting too long. I'm getting bored!

  • Jod_69 Jo (@Jod_69) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Broadband down again today 4th time this week. Really will have to rethink providers

  • Jod_69 Jo (@Jod_69) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Yep just says problem in my area. Not helpful and is getting to be a pain tbh

  • Neil_Churchard Neil Churchard (@Neil_Churchard) reported from Solihull, England

Wow just had the worst customer service from @virginmedia can’t say I’ll be staying a loyal customer at this rate 😤

  • TheRamblingElf Richard (@TheRamblingElf) reported from Birmingham, England

@AksTailor @virginmedia When I had some issues like that I haggled a month or two of free Internet from Virgin until the issue was resolved. Convincing them to do that took an infuriating number of phone calls but it was a satisfactory outcome, I've stuck with them.

  • Stanton_J John Stanton (@Stanton_J) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia help required, #customerexperience #badcustomerservice waiting for a call back since 1pm yesterday, Six times complained about the issue in last year each time told it will be sorted and it isn’t.... Do you want this customer or do you want to lose another to @skytv

  • Jod_69 Jo (@Jod_69) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia As per last message it says problem in area. It’s back working now (see time of initial mail). 4th time this week it’s been down for prolonged periods of time. Not good

  • David_Preece David_Preece (@David_Preece) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Yet again my internet is down, just had half service for 2 months and it worked for 10 days now gone again... yet you still take full payment out my bank, I see this a theft...

  • Ade1701 Ade1701 (@Ade1701) reported from Dorridge, England

@virginmedia After more than FOUR HOURS on the phone I eventually got someone competent from billing to confirm I am eligible for one free booster and someone else to talk me through fixing the security issue. You seriously need to prioritise vulnerable customers!

  • K45TRO EA (@K45TRO) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia why is your broadband so awful?

  • bjwgorman Ben Gorman (@bjwgorman) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia Always but it makes no difference. There have been issues where I live since the start of lockdown. I have made a complaint but it’s gone no where.

  • stumccullagh Stuart McCullagh (@stumccullagh) reported from Solihull, England

Only 3 months until i can get rid of @virginmedia awful internet even worse customer service!

  • jadedurnallx jade💓 (@jadedurnallx) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia are absolutely useless. Have over 100 properties with Virgin Media Broadband, and you’d think they’d attempt to fix issues and keep our future custom. Safe to say we’re looking for another supplier if there are any recommendations...

  • Ade1701 Ade1701 (@Ade1701) reported from Dorridge, England

@virginmedia Still on bloody hold! Can somebody in the Virgin Media call centre please pick up the damn phones!!! What the Hell are vulnerable, elderly customers supposed to do?!

  • Ade1701 Ade1701 (@Ade1701) reported from Dorridge, England

@virginmedia Don’t try and pass the buck! It’s NOT a windows issue, it ONLY occurs on this Virgin network!

  • Jod_69 Jo (@Jod_69) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia hi. Second time this week no internet. Monday was all day. Can’t get thru to you by phone. What is going on with my service?

  • beast_gbgolfer Colin Joyce (@beast_gbgolfer) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Doesn’t work says account question is wrong so can’t change password and can’t access account think it’s hacked 1 hr waiting on phone your service is poor

  • PaulSimmons66 Paul Simmons (@PaulSimmons66) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Today we received outstanding service from Jack the engineer from virgin media. He was polite friendly and determined to rectify the fault which he did. A credit to Virgin media thanks Jack

  • Ade1701 Ade1701 (@Ade1701) reported from Dorridge, England

@virginmedia First thing I did, and I run them regularly. Only 53.46 Mbps download and just 9.99 upload on a supposedly 100Mbps service! On a wifi laptop right next to the router it’s just 23.43 and 10.08

@idntlyk2moanbut @virginmedia @sky Wouldn't have helped, Sky internet been down for hours, days for some 😞

  • toucan2 Mandy Morrow (@toucan2) reported

I am now on my 8th virgin media call. Trying to cancel a broadband contract that has not even started. It's like being part of a cult that wont let you go. They keep cutting me off and transferring me and asking the same questions again and again @virginmedia @richardbranson

  • SimonPlumbe Simon Plumbe 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇪🇺 (@SimonPlumbe) reported

@SuperBenjiX @virginmedia I used to be really positive about TalkTalk like that. When we moved here our house had no phone line. BT wanted to charge us almost £200 to install one so we could get online, TalkTalk did it free so we could continue to stay connected! Service just went downhill after that!

  • appledays55 appledays55 (@appledays55) reported

@virginmedia So I am now trying to cancel my contract..I think you can guess where this is going...I rang..waited then got cut off...I text to Bot ..still waiting to hear from an agent...and so it goes on..

  • paulconroy2369 Paul (@paulconroy2369) reported

@virginmedia I spoke to them and said I had to pay 8 per month more. The money isn't the issue I am not getting the service in my house on the other floors. They said they could do no more unless I paid. They said I could get out of my contract but have to contact obudsman. I have done this

  • georgebrisco georgebrisco (@georgebrisco) reported

Dealing with @virginmedia team must be one of the more frustrating aspects of modern life. Currently their response to a complaint is basically "well you shouldn't have listened to what we told you on the phone, the people on the phones don't get much training"

  • Erlene1905 Rosychick04 (@Erlene1905) reported

@virginmedia Does my uncle needs to pay still for 27.10 - 27.11 billing? They are not using it anymore as the connection is so poor and they have another provider already. Hope this can be cancelled now and not to pay for another one that they did not ise as this will be added burden to him.

  • thatsmyboy80 Tim Edwards (@thatsmyboy80) reported

@virginmedia Via a (terrible) WhatsApp messaging convo. I’m not aware of any other way to order them. I’ve used the Virgin connect app to do speed tests but the page it links to doesn’t actually add anything?!

  • xNikkiMoorex xNikkix (@xNikkiMoorex) reported

@virginmedia I do yes but it's my daughters with the problem. The app won't even run on their phones as cant get any connection. They are fine as long as they sit in the living room not in their bedrooms! On mine it shows 30mb so doesn't qualify as a black spot.

  • Adam_Cardy_ Adam Cardy (@Adam_Cardy_) reported

@virginmedia how do I go about switching mobile contract from virgin to O2? Do I need to give notice in plenty of time to not be charged next month? How do I perform this action. (Switching because poor connectivity in busy areas especially in Portsmouth).
