@virginmedia is there a reason why when I’m working from home with so much to that involves internet access including online meetings that yet again your service is not working in B36? This is happening so often it is ridiculous

  • charlottetomtom Charlotte (@charlottetomtom) reported from Solihull, England

  • Nikkyt_23 Nicole Talbott (@Nikkyt_23) reported from Birmingham, England

@_adam_cohen_ @virginmedia Adam. Story of my life complaining to VM! I’ve had 7 engineers to fix the same problem and then today some little **** called Melissa told me she has already been on the phone for 30 minutes with and put the phone down!

  • shannxnj Shannon Johnson (@shannxnj) reported from Birmingham, England

Tried to submit a complaint form to get in touch as your team have been so slow in responding. How can I get this resolved? @virginmedia

  • TimEvans1503 Tim Evans (@TimEvans1503) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Would it be ok to not just send me the same message each time but tell me how you’re going to make sure the service what it should be? Both my wife and my work is utterly dependent on good internet access

  • Arty_Mikey Arty Mikey Illustration (@Arty_Mikey) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia your broadband SUCKS. It's no wonder a local FB community group is full of people asking for suggestions for better internet providers.

  • mrmjprice MJP ☀️ (@mrmjprice) reported from Birmingham, England

Turns out turning your @virginmedia Hub 4 off and on again resets the 2.4GHz network name.

  • mrmjprice MJP ☀️ (@mrmjprice) reported from Birmingham, England

Virgin Media TV customer here… say I wanted to watch The Hundred but didn’t want to add the entirety of sky sports to my package, how might I go about that?

  • stevejones88 Steven 'STIG' Jones (@stevejones88) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia after 3.5hrs on the phone to your teams in every country from around the world today with horrendous customer service, can I get a phone number for a manager or complaints department in ENGLAND. Already filed complaint with communications ombudsman for Ofcom.

  • mrmjprice MJP ☀️ (@mrmjprice) reported from Birmingham, England

@deepblue1990 @virginmedia Power users are utter bastards to provide support for tbf

  • andyjuk Andrew Jones (@andyjuk) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia have to say, even with no voice, Stan on your customer support team provides better service than some of the outsourced centres!

  • tweet_estaa Adwoa Agyeiwaa (@tweet_estaa) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia They said they’ve run diagnostics and found no issues so basically I’m making it up in my head ???? Tbh this is terrible and a waste of time paying my bill

  • PM_PaulMartin Paul Martin (@PM_PaulMartin) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Tring to get a cable moved you’ve been out and said next day that was over a month ago WTF?

  • TimEvans1503 Tim Evans (@TimEvans1503) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia To be honest this happens too often then often our speeds are not what we pay for. I work from home so costs me business when this happens. Rather then getting me to check things, I just need yo-yo to provide us with a regular consistent service at the speeds we actually pay for

  • TimEvans1503 Tim Evans (@TimEvans1503) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia big thanks for your rubbish service that meant I dropped out of giving a lecture part way through - we pay a small fortune and expect decent service

  • TimEvans1503 Tim Evans (@TimEvans1503) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia yet again last night and now this morning your service is t working despite the large amount we pay you every month. The two of us work from home - you are costing us business. If you can’t provide a decent consistency service then admit it and we’ll change provider

  • tweet_estaa Adwoa Agyeiwaa (@tweet_estaa) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia I’ve been having issues with my wifi since I got it last year and now we’ve been talked into getting a “pod” for an extra £5 p/m only for the guy to say it still doesn’t guarantee wifi speed. Whatever you lot are smoking please quit.

  • tweet_estaa Adwoa Agyeiwaa (@tweet_estaa) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia That’s not what my issue is. WHY IS THE INTERNET SO INCONSISTENT??? - and threatening to charge a £240 to cancel the contract for wifi that does work is very poor customer service!

  • tweet_estaa Adwoa Agyeiwaa (@tweet_estaa) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia If these pods don’t work, I’ll back with more reasons for why people should avoid using your rubbish service. It’s pathetic really that I have to come on Twitter to do this for you to be bothered just because of reputation. Disgraceful

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • stevetibbetts Steve Tibbetts (@stevetibbetts) reported

Right, @virginmedia; firstly - dont lie! I've had no missed calls recently so no, you didnt try and call. Secondly - telling me to reboot the broadband hub and "see if the problem persists" does not count as fixing the problem. I've done that and it still persists.

  • tamimi_dev Tamimi (@tamimi_dev) reported

@virginmedia Like I said, that's your problem, not mine. If you're in disagreement, please forward this whole thread to the complaints team and we can re-open the ADR claim. Just to reiterate, I'm not calling you. You've got my account number and therefore my contact details.

  • Retromombie1 Retromombie (@Retromombie1) reported

  • madscouser The Purple Stitcher (@madscouser) reported

  • jamiet72 Jamie Foster (@jamiet72) reported

@virginmedia can I please ask what did you do to the WiFi on New Years Eve? My WiFi reception is so bad throughout my house. We are not able to watch any TVs throughout the house. I even bought a new TV just in case it was that. Please advise as I may need to move to BT.

  • rshahbaz Rana Shahbaz (@rshahbaz) reported

@ruthm4x @virginmedia Called a couple of times and after wasting your time over the phone, they pass to cancellation team, they keep hanging up the phone without speaking to you. It is terrible at the moment!
