@virginmedia 2/ Despite that issue being due to a junction connection in the cabinet in the street, the op seems to refuse to look at that and just wants to reboot my router. Also claims it is due to my use of Modem Mode. Is there anyone in the UK I can contact regarding this?

  • mark_xc
Mark Baldwin (@mark_xc) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia your service is worse than ever, no wifi for a week and all you keep saying is it is very complicated and your engineers are trying to fix it

@virginmedia for the second day out of the last 60 hours we have no Internet or TV in the B92 area!! You do know the rules are still to work from home if you can don’t you? Atrocious service and reliability!!

  • notdodgy
Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia once again on demand not working. How are you supposed to watch a sky movies film when it stops every 10 seconds to spin a wheel for 10 seconds. Service checker says its fine and the box has been rebooted.

  • SharonNaokes
sharon Elizabeth Noa (@SharonNaokes) reported from Wythall, England

@virginmedia why send me letters with no contact details on for me to get back to you, put my bill up, yet fail to provide the service I’m paying for! I’ve been trying for 3 weeks to contact you to talk about this! Shall I cancel my contract..yes as soon as I can get through 😤

@virginmedia Hi John. Just lost the internet again in the middle of a teams conference with a very important client. I will not try to get in touch with Virgins Customer service as I am to busy however for what difference it makes Virgins service is appauling

  • notdodgy
Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia You only pay out for a total loss of service. So it can be unusable but still limping along and you won't pay out. Personally I am hoping for another provider to get around to rolling out fibre in my area.

  • CosmicHustler
Alien-**** (@CosmicHustler) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia Any chance of some kind gesture of goodwill to a very long-term customer (Telewest days) and long-term isolator due to suppressed immune system, struggling without a working & very necessary distraction...

  • lorna_conway
Doonie (@lorna_conway) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia Friday I booked an engineer as the WiFi on our hub keeps dropping. At the same time I upgraded my package. This includes tech help. Since Friday I've had no WiFi. I tried website chat but got dropped I've tried calling but was waiting too long. I'm getting bored!

  • Ade1701
Ade1701 (@Ade1701) reported from Dorridge, England

@virginmedia Does anyone at Virginmedia ever actually answer phones? Calling from my parent’s number, supposed to be listed as vulnerable/priority. No answer for over 40 minutes! The hold music is torture, and zero indication of how long the queue is! Your customer service sucks!

  • andyjuk
Andrew Jones (@andyjuk) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia have to say, even with no voice, Stan on your customer support team provides better service than some of the outsourced centres!

10+ years. 50M+ users. £11M+ revenue impact. Mercedes. Citibank. Sky. Virgin Media. NatWest. Here's what I learned: Bad product flows can cost thousands, or even millions, in lost revenue. Regardless of company size. What kills conversions in big-name products does the same for startups: - Onboarding that loses people in the first 60 secs - Pricing pages that confuse instead of convert - Sign-up flows that cause decision fatigue I’ve seen that when you fix these - you get more from the traffic you already have. Now I build those same systems for funded startups - so they keep the users they've already paid to get.

@virginmedia hi our wifi has been intermittent and slow all week and is now once again not working. Can't even get on to your website. Seems to be local to SE27 as my neighbours also have the same problem. Can we please get this fixed?

@virginmedia All I am getting is a bot replying to check the issue in the area At least 16 household know there is an ongoing issue for months Please resolve this rather than with fobbing us off with direction to plug and unplug etc

  • MisterBeergut
    Jonny (@MisterBeergut) reported

@Kirsty_x85 @virginmedia Many company sales people do this, because they have been told that not knocking is following the cold calling rules. The posting of cards through letterboxes is what most of them do instead. I have the same problem. At least you were not disturbed by the hard sell.

  • lrodia
    Lorenzo Rodia (@lrodia) reported

@youfibre , do you know roughly when the service will be available where I live? Before the Virgin Media buy out I could see I was on the final phase and now it’s showing I am an early bird again! I can see virgin fibre have also installed new cabinets in my street!
