Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Royal Leamington Spa and nearby locations:

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia Your system sent me a satisfaction survey. Needed to complete it using mobile broadband because my virgin broadband doesn't actually work, but is apparently working enough to not qualify as being out of service.

  • pasty_pete Peter Brocklehurst (@pasty_pete) reported from Solihull, England

Good old virgin media down again twitch in one week and I’m told two to three days before anyone can come out yet I bet the bill will arrive on time

  • skybluechick72 Sam D (@skybluechick72) reported from Rugby, England

@virginmedia It’s come back on now - I only knew it was down as looked on Twitter then 5 minutes later it came back just extremely frustrating start to the day

  • MrBrianRoe Brian Roe (@MrBrianRoe) reported from Royal Leamington Spa, England

@virginmedia spent another wasted hour on chat on your site. It crashed multiple times yesterday but you blamed Facebooks outage ...? Are you for real?

  • isunhita Sunhita Ing (@isunhita) reported from Stratford-upon-Avon, England

@virginmedia really appalled with our experience as a new customer (15years with previous supplier). Mix ups with installation. Overcharged. Waiting in for installers not turning up. Closing of a complaint that was escalated. Chasing. No resolution. Want to leave already!

  • Miss_Pumpkin666 Caroline (@Miss_Pumpkin666) reported from Birmingham, England

@sahinbrum @virginmedia I agree that their compensation policy is bs, I’ve found when I’ve had any outage affect me, they patch it quickly so the service gets intermittent while they work on a full fix, that way they don’t have to compensate, even if service drops out every couple minutes. BS really

  • MrBrianRoe Brian Roe (@MrBrianRoe) reported from Royal Leamington Spa, England

@virginmedia your badly designed website keeps crashing and giving me a blank page. ( On a Year old MacBook Air). You'd think a billion dollar tech company would have a functional website? #fail.

  • whatsyourtwitta AM. (@whatsyourtwitta) reported from Birmingham, England

Ffs my @virginmedia wifi is down…again 😤😤😤 - apparently I need to wait till midday tomorrow to get it fixed?!? No Netflix, no Xbox no nothing tonight ffs

  • anna_newbold AnnaBluez 🌧 (@anna_newbold) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia what's up? No TV or telephone line & your website & customer services have crashed Have you paid your bill? #virginmedia

  • JamesSuman James Suman (@JamesSuman) reported from Royal Leamington Spa, England

@LPBarbe @virginmedia I just had the exact same problem! 😤

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia Broadband connection and WiFi are stable but connectivity is intermittent-keeps losing connection every few minutes for 30 seconds. This is a network fault but I cannot find an option to report it. B90 1LB

  • SteveWa13630733 Steve Walters (@SteveWa13630733) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia problems with emails all day. Message keeps saying try again in one hour. But no emails since 835am this morning. Are you aware of this problem? Any news on a fix for it?

  • Miss_Pumpkin666 Caroline (@Miss_Pumpkin666) reported from Birmingham, England

@Michaelallen_99 @philell21 @virginmedia Because the stupid rules say that if there’s a disruption to your services (over a specified amount of time), you’re legally entitled to compensation, but ONLY if you contact them to notify them that you specifically are effected, if you don’t they’re not obligated

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia No estimated time. "It's a complex problem". In other words its a network fault not a line fault. Why isn't the number you shared available on your website? The service checker is useless in this scenario. The website says it's working when it isn't.

  • s_badruddin Sana Parkar (@s_badruddin) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia why is your box down? Why doesn’t any of your apps load? E.g. Amazon Prime? 😑

  • notdodgy Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia You only pay out for a total loss of service. So it can be unusable but still limping along and you won't pay out. Personally I am hoping for another provider to get around to rolling out fibre in my area.

  • SteveDeery Steve Deery (@SteveDeery) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia any chance we could have one day (just one day) where your broadband stays online? Down for an hour in B90

  • EvanD Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Solihull, England

@O2 @virginmedia Further to this, he has now told me that as I get a £15/month discount for my 1st 6 months with O2, I need to cancel that and pay full price in order to get the extra #Volt speed boost with VM

  • AshTuxy JustAsh (@AshTuxy) reported from Birmingham, England

Now is not a good time for @virginmedia to go down 😑

  • MrBrianRoe Brian Roe (@MrBrianRoe) reported from Royal Leamington Spa, England

@virginmedia That's the problem...? Right there in your sentence! You don't provide a high level of service. Reading the tweets and responses on Twitter will prove that. Saying "sorry" is not providing a high level of service. I've left, goodbye.

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • patwebb01962978 pat webb (@patwebb01962978) reported

Virgin media this picture problem has now gone on for a three days. There had better be a rebate for lack of service.

  • fabio_labate fabio labate (@fabio_labate) reported

@virginmedia HEY virgin media, when a five year old subscribes to new services and parents call within the hour to cancel its not OK to charge an additional £90 on the next month and say 'it's your problem, not ours. Your customer service is awful.. though your staff are polite

  • maddogman17 Mr Thomas (@maddogman17) reported

@virginmedia Hello, It doesn't allow me to login nor reset a password. Could you chase up the call that I am waiting for? I can give you my account number if it helps? Hopefully there are notes on my file.

  • mrs_skrep Jules Perks (@mrs_skrep) reported

@virginmedia But I had been about it going up £5 from £85.50 on 1/3/21 which prompted my call on 21st. Now it’s going up because of my call yesterday as I’ve a second box which I’ve had the entire time. I get stuff goes up but don’t treat customers like this and don’t lie #plentymoreproviders

  • patwebb01962978 pat webb (@patwebb01962978) reported

@virginmedia We have pictures breaking up on every channel plus the sound just so bad like scratched record. Can the fall of snow be the cause? Because we are now looking for another provider.

  • bestyb1 sean best (@bestyb1) reported

@virginmedia @virginmedia there are no excuses for failure to contact customers you have over charged when that customer has tried to resolve for 6 weeks. It is disrespectful and covid is no excuse for picking a phone up generic answers are meankngless when you cant refund vunerable customers

  • shiveringsuns Paul (@shiveringsuns) reported

@virginmedia According to your service update, your working on issues in the area and we may not be able to access 'Babenation'. Having not watched this station (which also appears related to adult entertainment), it raises the possibility of your systems being manipulated 😲

  • clio_ambler Clio Ambler (@clio_ambler) reported

@virginmedia A very weak signal at the moment!

  • Craigsheesh Craig Taylor (@Craigsheesh) reported

@virginmedia No just comes up with connection issues

  • nataliemem Natalie Murphy (@nataliemem) reported

I remember a time waking up in the morning to smiles, forehead kisses, tropical sunshine and breakfast mimosas. Now I wake up to THREE Virgin Media cancellation fees and sitting on hold with customer service.
