-
Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Solihull, England
@virginmedia 2/ Despite that issue being due to a junction connection in the cabinet in the street, the op seems to refuse to look at that and just wants to reboot my router. Also claims it is due to my use of Modem Mode. Is there anyone in the UK I can contact regarding this?

Brian Cape (@BrianMCape) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia Another fail. I've reached out in exasperation since my chase-ups of 14th, 19th and today have been ignored. As have my 5 messages to your local rep who promised to be on hand. If you can't be bothered to help me, I'll just escalate via another route @richardbranson

jen (@jenkin99) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia We had issuse with our service, and was told we would need new cables. We the new cables installed. They left cabels hanging in the garden which has since been removed. Our grass is ruined (I have photos) it looks like next doors cable are also under or grass????

Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Solihull, England
@virginmedia Just called your offshore call centre regarding my internet connection. I’m having the same issues as I had when I got a £154 credit from you. /1
-
Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia Yes I’ve done that. My connection drops out for a minute or so every 30-60 mins. Hard to replicate. My account has notes regarding the reason why the credit was given last time. Ideally I don’t want to wait so long for the same issue to be fixed.
-
Casey Rain (aka S-Endz) (@CaseyRain) reported from Birmingham, England
Had an @virginmedia broadband outage on Sunday for 2 hours. Since then, connection so spotty that I'm getting 10 seconds of completely dropped packets followed by 20 seconds of slow-as-molasses ping times once every 10 minutes.
-
Casey Rain (aka S-Endz) (@CaseyRain) reported from Birmingham, England
Causing me to drop out of a work meeting once every 10 minutes. Oh, and Virgin tried to blame it on my hardware? Except... My neighbour is seeing the EXACT same thing. This wasn't happening before the outage. @virginmedia why am I paying you lots of money for a spotty connection?

Stuart McCullagh (@stumccullagh) reported from Solihull, England
The problem in my area B37 has been happening for over a week can’t watch any TV now @virginmedia over £100 a month!! Plus I’ve been waiting 2 years for an internet booster
-
Brian Cape (@BrianMCape) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia No. Already done it about 7 times without any luck. I refuse to waste more hours in queues, only to rehash my issues to another anonymous operator. I've been assured that this is in the hands of a named handler, who didn't call me back as promised and is ignoring my emails. Fail
-
Frugalista (@frugalista1) reported from Dorridge, England
@virginmedia Typical Virgin Media response. Passing me on. Not actually solving the problem. I will never come back to @virginmedia and will advise all my friends never to think of using you.
-
Stephen Bennett (@Stephen12857059) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia Nobody has called me and the WhatsApp chat is very frustrating and not dealing with the issue. This is very simple, I was sent contract paperwork with an agreed monthly fee of £86.75. Why have I paid two months of excessively higher payments. I should have left VM
-
Rob Chipman (@robchippyman) reported from Birmingham, England
@Tilton247 @virginmedia I had the same for 2 years. Constantly disconnecting on a daily basis . Changed the Hub and it worked straight away. No issues since. Good luck getting a new hub off them though.
-
Stephen Bennett (@Stephen12857059) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia I called 150 today to speak to a Supervisor regarding my bill. I was told I would receive a call within the hour. NOTHING. I agreed a contract 18/8/22 and the last two payments have been £65 & £75 more than agreed. This is shocking customer care and service.

Stuart McCullagh (@stumccullagh) reported from Solihull, England

@virginmedia Unfortunately, you dont have a ticketing system or cobtact email to track issues, rather a phone system that requires you to wait forever to get through to an agent. A/c number: 095063606. I was charged x2.5 of what i was tp pay.

@virginmedia @virginhelp @virgin All of London is affected by your outage but your map says I am not affected - and when I personally put in my login it says I am fine. But many sites aren't working?
-
Stan Braganza (@sbraganza) reported from Barnet, England
@virginmedia *sigh* it’s ok. I was overreacting too - I had some stuff I was working on and I felt that it was my router that was at fault. Once I knew it was a network issue I was able to relax (and subsequently used 5gb of my mobile data allowance) - at least my hardware still works!
-
Anna (@annahubbit) reported
@virginmedia In the nicest possible way, we spoke with your customer services at the weekend, and there is *still* apparently nothing that can be done despite confirmed interference coming from somewhere. We don’t have time to waste this much of it on the phone just to save your company face.
-
playpet (@playpet1) reported
@virginmedia Why do I need to do that when I already know, you over sell your service and where analogue gets converted to digital bottle necks, you wont upgrade these Hubs because your marketing relies in getting new customers and them leaving when their cheap offer runs out
-
Chimpy12321 (twitch) (@EGreenhill1) reported
@virginmedia The status checker always says no known issues, but if i phone up, the machine tells me there is intermittent problems in the area. As you should be aware i am well within my rights to cancel my contract as i have been suffering outages for this long. @virginmedia
-
Anna (@annahubbit) reported
@virginmedia They seem to have no idea! We’ve switched router, we’ve changed its position. Ethernet cable is not a fix as the work I do is confidential. It’s not a big flat, but neither of us can work in another room to the router. And then it started not connecting at all last week.

Chimpy12321 (twitch) (@EGreenhill1) reported
@virginmedia Ive never received such poor customer service in my life, read the above trail. Use some common sense and actually care about your customers.. you still havent answered why YOU switch off my upload speed at 8pm exactly..
