  • djmattnash Matt Nash (@djmattnash) reported from Coventry, England

@virginmedia Yea both, and all since I served my 30 day notice, surprise surprise... don’t worry about it though, I haven’t got another two hours to wait on hold trying to get through to your abysmal ‘customer service’ so I’ll just tether to my mobile for the rest of month...

  • stevegoodman Steve Goodman (@stevegoodman) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia I gave them a call before mentioning it on Twitter. I've sent in a complaint as a last attempt before I subscribe to another provider.

  • markharper86 Mark86 (@markharper86) reported from Royal Leamington Spa, England

@virginmedia Hi, I finally got through this morning. I received no counter offer to the one that Sky had offered me. And more importantly the agent I spoke with was very rude and hostile. Not sure she understood how to retain customers but you lost one today due to this poor customer service

  • jones_ianm Ian Jones (@jones_ianm) reported from Royal Leamington Spa, England

@SkyHelpTeam red button not working on Virginmedia platform. Unable to watch the football

  • thekosfox Karl (@thekosfox) reported from Nuneaton, England

So, I'm switching from Sky Tv/Broadband to @virginmedia. A friend of mine who is a new customer got multi room with no activation cost. I phone for the offer and the lady said no fee, yayyyy, I go through to another department and its £49 Being fobbed off already!!😡😡 NOT HAPPY!

  • MattTall3 Matt Tall 🤝 (@MattTall3) reported from Coventry, England

@richardbranson @virginmedia it’s down again internet and tv

  • stevegoodman Steve Goodman (@stevegoodman) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia No, I wasn't and that's why when customer service couldn't offer anything close to the competition or your own "new customer" offers I cancelled, prior to the first tweet. If you valued your existing customers, then once out of contract, you'd be able to offer similar deals.

  • Jezsuttonuk Jez Sutton (@Jezsuttonuk) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia so I take a day off work to sort out the Crap Virgin Broadband and at 10am it fails. Virgin can’t send out an engineer for 2 days !! Don’t get virgin they are crap

  • KirstR92 Kirsty Rudd (@KirstR92) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia can someone call me so I can cancel my contract as my bill has gone up from £63 to £79 - it’s ridiculous

  • Jezsuttonuk Jez Sutton (@Jezsuttonuk) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia Please don’t try to diagnose a router fault on Twitter... just get your dismal support team to replace the router, which I have been trying for 8 months

  • thekosfox Karl (@thekosfox) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia I understand there is an activation fee, when I asked, as a new customer if it could be waiverd and was told yes, I didnt then expect in another department to be told no!! One main reason we are leaving Sky is because of this of inconsistency in customer service. Poor start!

  • stevegoodman Steve Goodman (@stevegoodman) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia - Out of contract and tried to switch to a deal on your website. Customer services refused, claiming the £250+ more a year option I'm on is the best you'll offer. I ended up cancelling, as I'm not paying over the odds - sad I have to leave though & hoped for better!

  • thekosfox Karl (@thekosfox) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia Hi, I'm a new customer, installation is this Saturday (24th). Our friends have recently joined you and they were offered multi-room (1 extra box) with no 'set up' costs. So I inquired and was told the same (just £7.50pm) put through to another department and told no, its £49.95.

  • patchpartridge Ian Patch Partridge (@patchpartridge) reported from Whitnash, England

@virginmedia Only a reference number so looks like Nicola has not processed it as a complaint ! After 5 months

  • oliveemason Olivia Mason (@oliveemason) reported from Rugby, England

@virginmedia Now I’m getting the same responses from you as I am from them. Funnily enough they can’t give us an installation date STILL. Literally the worst customer service. Will be going with another provider. 👍🏼

  • Jezsuttonuk Jez Sutton (@Jezsuttonuk) reported from Coventry, England

@virginmedia Engineer failed to turn up for his 8-12 appointment typical crap service we are accustomed too..

  • Jezsuttonuk Jez Sutton (@Jezsuttonuk) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia Spent all of my lunch time finding out why the engineer didn’t turn up this morning only to be let down on a call back at 5:30 this evening.. utterly useless

  • EmmaOohLaLa Emmie❤️🌹 (@EmmaOohLaLa) reported from Coventry, England

@virginmedia I’m not happy tbh. I’ve always called on behalf of my mum in regards to technical issues as I set up account for them. I do all the calls regarding this and your colleague Avanash wouldn’t talk to me. Never had an issue till now, and I’ve had to wait 20 mins on hold for an answer

  • oliveemason Olivia Mason (@oliveemason) reported from Rugby, England

@Virgin @virginmedia your customer service is horrific and you’ve lost a customer before you’ve even installed our broadband. Very very unhappy with your service and I will be spreading the word.

  • thekosfox Karl (@thekosfox) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia Understandably, I was very annoyed after being on hold for 'god knows' how long to be told yes, the activation cost, £49.95 would be waived as a new customer. Then to be put through to the installation team and told NO!!! the activation cost would stand!!! Bad customer service.

@Ofcom struggling to cancel @virginmedia contract despite being outside of minimum period. Phones not picked up (disconnected after over an hour on hold), no online option, no chat option but just stuck being overcharged for poor service. Should I just cancel the DD? 1/2

  • liammorris91 Liam Morris (@liammorris91) reported

@virginmedia It would help if people could actually get through on that phone number when the service is faulty!!

  • iatefog Jamie (@iatefog) reported

@TALL4ALL @farawaysad @virginmedia Sounds like he's got a complete lack of service, either on the switch or a failure on the equipment in the building

@virginmedia I'm having problems with my Internet dipping for the past few months now, doesn't matter if its connected by wired or WiFi. I'm still having problems despite speaking to a member of staff 2 days ago. I cant get intouch with anyone as line's r constantly busy.

  • ThorogoodMarina Marina Thorogood (@ThorogoodMarina) reported

@virginmedia When I call i get n automated message saying there are issues in my area, are you able to refund anything as I've not had Internet access for nearly 2 weeks

  • yorkiegrandma Brenda rotherforth (@yorkiegrandma) reported

@virginmedia your broadband service is terrible and your customer service is beyond a joke, 2 outstanding complaints with you and I receive a letter for one informing me I need educating. Termination pending unless you have a human being whom we can actually speak to.

  • Jim_B_71 Jim Boyle (@Jim_B_71) reported

@virginmedia any idea how to speak to someone in your customer service team? You “accidentally” cut off my mobile phone service on Sunday & 4 days on I am no further forward & still have no network. Your phone number just has a “sorry we’re busy please call back message”.

  • StuRowls Stuart Rowlands (@StuRowls) reported

@virginmedia hi, wonder if you can help. I started a new 18 month discounted contract on 14th jan. Recieved a letter this morning saying price is going up £3 month. Is this just an automated letter that was generated before i started new contract? Thanks.

  • RobstaHendricks Robsta Hendricks (@RobstaHendricks) reported

@virginmedia I renewed *and* upgraded to Gig1 29/11. Nothing but trouble. Over 24h since then on phone, plus live chat. Agreements by you do not seem concrete. Please explain yourselves, as I’m bored having to pick up the phone to my ‘service’ provider for an over priced service!
