@virginmedia It's not faulty. It's not a wifi or broadband issue. You don't have enough backhaul capacity.
-

@virginmedia second outage of broadband in as many days in Rugby. Just closed an account - with never any problems and a new one now in my name I've had 2 outages within a week! What is going on? I'm stuck at home with after effects of covid and rely on b/band to watch TV!

Paul Want (@Wanty72) reported from Royal Leamington Spa, England
@virginmedia messaging you here as using the website to find help I just get lots of Bad Request errors. Our Virgin Box keeps turning on and off by itself and we need a replacement. Please advise, thanks
-
Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England
@virginmedia once again on demand not working. How are you supposed to watch a sky movies film when it stops every 10 seconds to spin a wheel for 10 seconds. Service checker says its fine and the box has been rebooted.

Huma (@Humawhitehouse) reported
@virginmedia Hi John. We don’t really trust what you say anymore as the deadline has been moved so many times and we never get an update, we always have to chase you. We can’t even do our jobs properly anymore. I know things can be complicated but you should at least reach out to customers.
-
Jordi Mon (@JordiMonPMM) reported
@virginmedia Just did. Not working.
-
Brian Furness (@brianfurness) reported
@virginmedia The notion of supplying attractive introductory offers…. Then breaking your own contract by increasing costs mid term and finally pushing prices so high at contract end meaning people either have to leave or put up with an inferior service just doesn’t sit right with the public
-
Nick Hancox (@NickHancox_) reported
@virginmedia Ring the same number we rang before, or text a bot. This is just completely unacceptable. And for what it is worth, that number is a still a bot talking about Hub issues and hasn't gone through to anyone.
-
Stuart Evans (@StuartE93396704) reported
@virginmedia So there is no way as an existing out of contract customer I will be considered important enough to be eligible for your best tarrifs, which are clearly reserved for new customers. It's almost as if you would prefer to lose my custom rather than incentives me to stay
-
andy b (@andybullwba) reported
@virginmedia But how is that right you are knowingly charging for a service you haven’t provided then keeping peoples money for an extra 45 days it’s bordering fraud, and why did you advisor say my bill would only be for the 4 days !!! If your policy is to charge for the whole month ???
-
jane baker (@janebaker18) reported
@virginmedia I would really like to speak to someone at VM on this. With a 50% price hike I expect a service that works and when it doesn’t, then the necessary tools to troubleshoot it
-
mrspecks (@mrspecks) reported
@virginmedia yet again atrocious service. 6 times internet has gone down so far today. This is almost a daily occurrence now. Happens at least 14 times a month. Always says there are issues but how many can one company have. Looks like a change of provider will be happening soon.
-
Sharon Hurst (@hursty1967) reported
@virginmedia Yes that's right, but when the "plug in and go " equipment arrived we apparently needed a splitter ?? That's what is shown on the set up booklet, rang technical support and have been passed from person to person all of whom have no clue what I'm talking about! Still on hold ....
-
Roger Larcombe (@RogerLarcombe) reported
@DavosLan @virginmedia They don’t like complaints so @virginmedia make it very difficult for you to do that. They will eventually acknowledge receipt of a complaint and then do absolutely sod all about it.
