And now @AmazonUK have managed to join @virginmedia on the list of companies who've managed to p**s me off today with poor service They all seem to forget who pays their bills....
-
Mike Hillman (@photo_bloke) reported from Stafford, England
@virginmedia (3/3) I'm the customer, and I would like to think you would accommodate my wishes and show me some respect as one of the people who ultimately pay for your profits. I will not, however, be a customer for much longer
-
Si Hodgkiss-Rogers (@SpykDaBarstud) reported from Rugeley, England
@ryanricardo76 @virginmedia Having problems on and off with mine again. It works for three months... problems for six, etc. Can’t even steam a movie on one device atm. Call for support. Same thing every time. Always say there’s no issue. Must be our devices. Think, at £50 a month... time to change.
-
Serenium (@serenium) reported from Stafford, England
@williamtm @virginmedia So virgin media don’t support it then. that is not “nothing supports it” Yell at virgin. BT is fine, although they do need to differentiate their treatment of ipv4 vs ipv6 icmp in their default firewall rules
-
Mike Hillman (@photo_bloke) reported from Stafford, England
@virginmedia If you really wanted me to stay and you valued me as a customer you would have respected my original request when i was first called and we wouldn't be here now Learn the lessons from this - do what customers ask show them some respect and stop bothering them with unwanted calls
-
Emily-jaye collins. (@EmzeeJaye) reported from Stafford, England
@virginmedia all of yesterday and still today I have no internet. It's been switched off, reset etc. Last month I went nearly a week without service. This needs resolving or I'm leaving.
-
Stuart Hurcombe (@5tu1987) reported from Armitage with Handsacre, England
@Gemgwar @virginmedia Basically.. nobody knows what the process is! Told we had to wait in ALL DAY yesterday for nobody to come (when we apparently now it’s only a package being delivered) STILL! nobody is clear if it’s a package being delivered or an engineer. Shocking service for what we are paying!
-
j (@jcanlas159) reported from Stafford, England
@virginmedia No difference. We do have an engineer booked in but just trying to understand the issue. The router page shows the Broadband reading (Access Denied) errors
-
LordBeerHunter 🇪🇺 (@LordBeerHunter) reported from Stafford, England
Here we go again @virginmedia, no WiFi randomly again! Although hardly ransom, it's a regular occurance. About time to stopped charging until you can provide a 24/7 service.
-
Gemma Brayne (@Gemgwar) reported from Stafford, England
@virginmedia Yes. They have said we will have to wait until WEDNESDAY, so we were lied to again. Shocking service!
-
Chan Ekanayake (@ChanEk81) reported from Stafford, England
@TrekinTech @virginmedia I gave up with Virgin media router after so many of these. It’s is single handedly the worst WiFi router man (or woman or it) has ever invented. But it’s a pretty ok modem TBF..
-
Stuart Hurcombe (@5tu1987) reported from Armitage with Handsacre, England
@virginmedia You mean the number we have used that have fed us countless information that is untrue/impossible to achieve to try and ‘keep us happy’. Also love the identical response to the previous tweet.. Nice template! Hopefully speak to someone in the week who maybe WANTS to help us
-
Mike Hillman (@photo_bloke) reported from Stafford, England
@virginmedia (3/3) I trust that when I call to cancel and switch, the call will be straightforward with no fuss and will be less than 2 minutes with no drawn out attempts to get me to stay
-
Glenn Arnold (@MrBlitzed) reported from Rugeley, England
@virginmedia So now I can't get into my account YET AGAIN to pay my bill. I changed my password but now I'm told I only have a secondary account and can't access billing. I went through all this crap last year and had a nightmare with your woeful call centre. Had enough now.
-
Serenium (@serenium) reported from Stafford, England
@williamtm @virginmedia 1&1, bt, EE, sky, zen and talk talk all support v6 afaik. The ONLY major (by number of subscribers) ISP that doesn’t is virgin. The smallest of the big 4 is talk talk and numbers 5-10 of the top 10 added together are still half the size of talk talk.
-
Denise Powell (@PPowellfamily) reported from Barlaston, England
@virginmedia 2 houses in the same street no Internet or broadband. Your call centre claims the fault to be in my home. #3rd class service
-
LordBeerHunter 🇪🇺 (@LordBeerHunter) reported from Stafford, England
Really getting sick of @virginmedia's shocking service. Yet more dropouts. No doubt this will inspire them to post the usual useless scripted bs response.
-
Barry Williams (@BarryWi32733397) reported from Hixon, England
@staffsbrewery @unicom @openreach I walked away from BT Infinity in my Hixon village as soon as Virgin Media was available the Service from BT was not good to say the least and i safe money with VM compared to my monthly charges from BT and Sky
-
Kate (@khnatter) reported from Newport, England
@virginmedia Trouble is as I explained, it’s rented accommodation and the rental company have the login and password info and are closed all weekend. Making studying impossible 😠
-
Emily-jaye collins. (@EmzeeJaye) reported from Stafford, England
@virginmedia I've already checked and there is no reported issues in my area.

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Withasee (@withaseemusic) reported
@virginmedia Does virgin intentionally throttle my connection to my work VPN? My broadband speeds are great but can barely get above 4kb/s on work VPN. Colleagues with other ISPs have no such issues
-
AK (@andyk_ak47) reported
@virginmedia @jesscoakley Hi, I have the same issue. Ordered on the 6th November. No confirmation, nothing in appointments. 9.99 to order so you do have my order. Thanks.
-
Withasee (@withaseemusic) reported
@virginmedia Can I ask why you don't support VPNs at a time when more people than ever are working from home? Makes your service pretty poor, no?
-
Rob Waugh (@RobWaugh74) reported
@seanhannam @virginmedia When I moved house, I opted to have an internet service five times slower just so I wouldn't have to deal with @virginmedia again
-
Mal Wa (@MalWa56700509) reported
@virginmedia The one and only time ive had chanve to get tickets for Peter Kay is an absolute joke, I've been on the site waiting for hours untill o2 decided to try and fix the problem. But NO it's beyond anything I've ever experienced to get tickets.
-
Maria Granjo (@MariaGranjo1) reported
@virginmedia The link has not been working these days, it just refreshes, doesn't tell me of any issues. Over the phone I've been told it's a problem affecting the area, but how is it possible in 2022 to have a 4 day running problem in the centre of London?
-
Joanne Johnson (@Joanneincrosby) reported
@virginmedia I only managed to get onto priority early this morning due to it being down. Obviously all sold out!
-
Jake Buchanan (@buchanan_video) reported
@virginmedia It took 12 hours for you to admit there was a problem on your end so I don't have much faith. Excuse me for being spikey, I just need internet to work from home, so this non uploaded issue means I can't connect to any VPN or servers.
-
Jake Buchanan (@buchanan_video) reported
@virginmedia Yeah checked all this. Because it is affecting less than 15% of people itz not on your site which is dumb. I spoke to an agent and they said fix is coming this afternoon for the Tunbridge Wells area, can you confirm this? Cheers
