@virginmedia poor service! Second time calling in a week! Slow service and bad reception! For the money you pay it’s not acceptable. Time to look ok for a new service provider!

  • 5tu1987
Stuart Hurcombe (@5tu1987) reported from Armitage with Handsacre, England

@virginmedia You mean the number we have used that have fed us countless information that is untrue/impossible to achieve to try and ‘keep us happy’. Also love the identical response to the previous tweet.. Nice template! Hopefully speak to someone in the week who maybe WANTS to help us

  • timothyray
Tim Ray (@timothyray) reported from Tean, England

@Cassetteboy @virginmedia Imagine being that crap a company that you don't realise the damage you do to @virginmedia's reputation when you piss off someone with 77k Twitter followers.

  • saneorinsane
Jason Timmins (@saneorinsane) reported from Brownhills, England

@virginmedia Thanks but that never works. ~15 years ago someone in our little cul-de-sac objected to VM digging the road so it's not here. How do I get VM to try again?

  • mrsclholdcroft
Claire Holdcroft (@mrsclholdcroft) reported from Stafford, England

@virginmedia can you please tell me how to ensure that you cancel my contract? I have tried since June! I’ve moved out and you keep on sending me bills and notices of not paying! The chat is useless as no one actually helps! It then disconnects! So disappointed.

  • Paul_Reviews
Paul Moore (@Paul_Reviews) reported from Burntwood, England

@kinoshitajona @ScottMcGready @SCwithGin @virginmedia @NCSC @troyhunt @PWTooStrong Agreed, neither are secure and should never be used... however it's certainly possible to make an unbreakable MD5 password.

  • Paul_Reviews
Paul Moore (@Paul_Reviews) reported from Burntwood, England

@ScottMcGready @kinoshitajona @SCwithGin @virginmedia @NCSC @troyhunt @PWTooStrong Scott, we use the term "unbreakable" in the trade to imply the credentials cannot be broken in a timeframe which realistically presents a risk to the user... it's not an OED term. Sure, if we're talking to an end-user, you either use a different term or explain the meaning

  • CraigST6
CR #GTTO (@CraigST6) reported from Stafford, England

@virginmedia @SkySports @SkySportsBoxing £26 for HD and so far the picture quality has been garbage. Pixilated every 5 seconds or so. Sort it out or refund everyone affected.

  • MarcosJimClowes
Marcos Clowes FCILT (@MarcosJimClowes) reported from Stafford, England

@virginmedia They refused to tell me as they said it contravened GDPR rules, I asked if they could tell me the minimum I needed to pay so as not to involve GDPR. They weren’t able to help.

  • photo_bloke

  • lvwlvs
LVWLVS (@lvwlvs) reported from Cheslyn Hay, England

@virginmedia That was the first thing I tried but nothing happened. It’s only when I power off at the wall, wait a minute then power on that it changes. Right now it’s working fine but this has been a recurring problem this week.

  • supercharger49
Brian A Wilshaw (@supercharger49) reported from Rugeley, England

@virginmedia Our virgin has been down for 2 days. When phoning, all we get is a message saying 'Sorry the service in your area is intermittent, our engineers are doing their best to fix it. Intermittent???? I wish! We've had no telephone, internet or TV continually for 2 days, 😡

  • upthevale

  • booksandcomics
StaffordBooks&Comics (@booksandcomics) reported from Stafford, England

Right in the middle of hosting a virtual pub quiz with friends from around the world and our WiFi with @virginmedia cuts out. It’s been fine all the way through lock down, unsure why these past few days it has been awful...#virginmediadown

  • serenium
Serenium (@serenium) reported from Stafford, England

@williamtm @virginmedia So virgin media don’t support it then. that is not “nothing supports it” Yell at virgin. BT is fine, although they do need to differentiate their treatment of ipv4 vs ipv6 icmp in their default firewall rules

  • Timtastic10IAR
Paul Rooney (@Timtastic10IAR) reported from Rugeley, England

@virginmedia And down it goes again 😂

  • Paul_Reviews
Paul Moore (@Paul_Reviews) reported from Burntwood, England

@ScottMcGready @SCwithGin @virginmedia @NCSC @troyhunt @PWTooStrong No, bash both :) As I said, it's a poor policy by comparison but I'd rather advise the user on how to choose a secure 10 character password than waste time preaching security to a social media staffer :)

First-time drug possession may no longer mean prosecution. From today, adults caught with a small amount of drugs for personal use may instead be referred to the HSE for support. They must admit the drugs were for their own use and agree to take part in the scheme. More on Virgin Media PLAY.

@4Viewers The Channel 4 app on Virgin Media 360 isn’t loading. It gets to a title screen and goes no further. Is this an issue on your end or theirs?

  • ExpanseCon
    Expanse Consulting Ltd (@ExpanseCon) reported

@MartinXTweets @VodafoneIreland Not a vodafone issue. Looks like a core switch failure, optical cross-connect fault or other fault inside one of the central carrier-neutral hubs. It has dropped interconnection across multiple fixed ISPs (Virgin Media, Eir, Siro, NBI) simultaneously.
