@StroescuGabriel @SamWall59028621 @xxIndyRef2xx @virginmedia That is why you should never use wifi. I have 3PCs, 2 consoles plus 2 x 4k TVs with V6 boxes. I use Cat6 on my PC and console (the rest is cat5) ethernet cabled into my own router, then into my Hub3 in modem mode. No issues with ping/lag here.

@virginmedia all of yesterday and still today I have no internet. It's been switched off, reset etc. Last month I went nearly a week without service. This needs resolving or I'm leaving.

@virginmedia 1/2 It’s with all devices, we’ve tried everything, we’ve reset, we’ve turned everything off and on again, we’ve switched from 5ghz to 2.4ghz and back again … it’s … just … so … slow! 😫😫😫 And I don’t get why we should need to be IT experts to get a good service …

@williamtm @virginmedia 1&1, bt, EE, sky, zen and talk talk all support v6 afaik. The ONLY major (by number of subscribers) ISP that doesn’t is virgin. The smallest of the big 4 is talk talk and numbers 5-10 of the top 10 added together are still half the size of talk talk.

Baring in mind the entire back bone of the UK internet is controlled by the post office/BT Openwoe, so anyone piggy backing over BT would have a better ping. BUT ping is not the only issue. Being a gamer, give me VM 350 gaming pack over BT

@virginmedia any reason why it’s taking you 4 hours to fix a problem in our area. This is the service you expect us as existing customers to pay through the nose for. But when we ring up and complain you say your deals are for new customers only!

Honestly a joke @virginmedia, yesterday wifi goes down but came back. I’m working from home today with a big call I need to be in and once again the wifi is gone. Relying on hotspot which will run out. It feels like it’s constantly breaking and the price we pay is ridiculous

I have been awarded £2.63 compensation?! Got my virgin media rooter Monday, engineer came Thursday then again Friday as they discovered it was not connected from the street?! Had they asked when I joined this issue would not have arisen. No wifi for 5 days and I get £2.63 comp!😠

@virginmedia The Hub is in modem mode connected to a separate wireless router as the Hub's WiFi has been poor since we got it, so technically it's a wired connection. Router's connection is lost when it drops so no devices can connect wirelessly. Has been stable for about 3 hours now.
