@ObsessiveJohn @virginmedia They don’t have any competitors for speed, but that means customer service is complacent. The strongest guarantee with them is that you will not get the speed you pay for during peak times (evenings and weekends), and they won’t care!

@virginmedia any reason why it’s taking you 4 hours to fix a problem in our area. This is the service you expect us as existing customers to pay through the nose for. But when we ring up and complain you say your deals are for new customers only!

@virginmedia 1/2 It’s with all devices, we’ve tried everything, we’ve reset, we’ve turned everything off and on again, we’ve switched from 5ghz to 2.4ghz and back again … it’s … just … so … slow! 😫😫😫 And I don’t get why we should need to be IT experts to get a good service …

Just had my first bill from @TalkTalk, from whom I get the broadband speed I pay for, whereas with @virginmedia I got half what I paid for at twice the price. Should’ve switched in any of those 15 years I was a loyal customer getting terrible customer service!

.@virginmedia have the worst service ever. Asked for a replacement Broadband hub and got it but it can't be activated and it's been over 24 hours now. Ridiculous now. Some staff were nice and upfront and some were just completely unhelpful and rude.

@virginmedia In part yes but it's more long winded it's all the lies miss communication and the fact they argue when your wrong and customer is right for a change. Started here as said was told no issues on 17th Aug but clearly that was wrong
