@virginmedia The reboot only works until it goes down again so it doesn’t really ‘work’. Anyway, I spent 40 minutes on the phone yesterday and they’re sending me a new router, hopefully that will sort the problem out. Cheers

  • moore2_jayne
Jayne Moore (@moore2_jayne) reported from Annesley, England

@virginmedia please can you inbox me urgently about restoring my dementia Mums phone line - been holding for over an hour with no human to help - this is urgent. Poor service so far.

  • robhollanduk
Rob Holland ⚽️🏐 (@robhollanduk) reported from West Bridgford, England

Shocking customer service from @virginmedia this week for mobile account setup for my son. Didn’t port his number over on Monday as promised & then agent hung up on me when I rang today to complain. I wasn’t abusive and I didn’t shout, but I do expect my complaint to be taken

  • paulwitneyphoto

  • e2mrk_mark
Mark Smith (@e2mrk_mark) reported from Sandiacre, England

@virginmedia @virginmedia so not only have virgin hiked my bill to £49.00... I’ve had no phone line for 12 months.. it cost me over £4.00 on my mobile to phone them. How does that work Virgin? Appalling service.

Rob Holland ⚽️ ☮️ (@robhollanduk) reported from West Bridgford, England

@Walpie27 By being an O2/Virgin Media customer. Statement yesterday said lots of tickets held back for general sale, but after the O2 Priority app & website crashed I’m not holding hope of getting tickets. In the past I’d have queued at the arena but the box office isn’t opening tomorrow

  • katej1984
Kate J (@katej1984) reported from Sandiacre, England

@virginmedia any chance you could hire call centre staff that don’t hang up the phone after 3 seconds in an attempt to bring their AHT down?

  • Jdd535
John D (@Jdd535) reported from Stapleford, England

Any chance virgin media can sort their network out.. paying for over 300mbps n only getting 46mbps!! #VirginMediaoutage #virginmediauk #virginmedia

  • ruth_machin
Ruth Machin (@ruth_machin) reported from Burton Joyce, England

@virginmedia ... on the phone for 55 minutes and still no resolution to poor internet connectivity. Civil servant, health care professional and engineering student all struggling to work at home 😕

  • rainworthgord
Gordon Foster (@rainworthgord) reported from Rainworth, England

@virginmedia @_MMaritima Not everyone understands about running a wired speed test, whatever that is. Why can you not just make an appointment with Lizzie for a home call so her problem can be sorted out on the spot? After all, free call out is one of your strong selling points. She doesn’t need hassle.

  • lee0510
Lee Smith (@lee0510) reported from Ilkeston, England

@virginmedia I cannot contact you by phone, your site will not allow me to sign in as my email is not available, clearly it wasn’t deleted from previous account so I can not see internet status or report faults. My Wi-Fi is intermittent, not working as I type reply.

  • red_dog14
Steve Barlow (@red_dog14) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia could you tell me what’s the issue with the picture in NG2 & NG11 watching the Forest v Fulham game? It’s pixelating & unwatchable a lot of the time

  • ChrisMaltby
Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia Always seems to come back after a router reboot. Maybe you could send me a new one, see if that resolves the issue?

  • ChrisMaltby
Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia PC is Ethernet into Superhub3 but laptop is WiFi. It’s broadband going down completely not just WiFi. This has been ongoing for several weeks albeit not this bad. Kind of lived with it until today

  • GodberKen
Ken Godber (@GodberKen) reported from Annesley, England

@virginmedia hi - I have a sim only mobile contract that's not been used for at least 18mths. I've stopped the DD as I'm unable to simply cancel via website and the number quoted to call doesn't work. I've got nowhere to go with this problem now.

  • marksimms3
Mark Simms (@marksimms3) reported from Selston, England

I want to leave @virginmedia but they are hoping I lose the battle of how long can we keep this man on hold before he gives up” battle ..what a terrible company.

  • WorTony
Tony P (@WorTony) reported from Selston, England

Hey @virginmedia I’m really loving the customer service - called 2 weeks ago to report a broken remote - I was told a new one would be on the way. I’m still waiting. I called yesterday and was told the email address I was giving and have had registered for 15-20 years was wrong

  • iamj_armstrong

@virginmedia There isn’t an outage. I have been told it may be a line fault but the hub was fine yesterday afternoon

  • Dr_Stav

Customer Services via @WhatsApp is just appalling. Looking at you @virginmedia. Feels like I've wasted hours trying to sort out a contract, one bot message at a time.

@virginmedia A pop up message stating virgin has blacklisted my a/c. Gadget rescue has sent a list of complicated instructions saying I’ve sent too many suspicious emails! Not true: I use this for work. Is it O2 causing the issue?

  • PeteBradders
    Pete Bradbury (@PeteBradders) reported

@virginmedia @CriticalRole @LessThanJake I have been a customer of yours for 25 years and upon the most recent contract renewal, you denied the package I opted for because it was for 'new customers only' and then went on to charge me with a bill for £124! A colossal 34% increase! Loyalty means nothing!

@virginmedia Already got one booked in. I will be complaining however as you already are charging a substantial amount for a service you’re clearly incapable of providing.

  • jamespdrury

Considering Virgin Media broadband but don't want a Hub 5? If you're in a VM full fibre area, GiffGaff broadband comes with an Eero 6+ and 900Mb (UP & DOWN) is just £32 per month, no mid contract increases. Use own router for upto 1.2Gb. Use referral code K0DEJXGV for £50 credit.
