-
fran (@Jolilfred) reported@LapChallenge The commentators are the worst I’ve ever heard, just talk waffle. Also see more of them than the actual sports. Where’s the options to watch different events? I thought it was an option but doesn’t work for me at all on virgin media annoying af
-
James Durrant (@je_durrant) reported@virginmedia I did that earlier today and your colleague confirmed nothing can be done until 17th August, over a month since this started. Now you’re saying it’s £1660 to exit a service I can’t even use. “Taking responsibility” and “monitoring” doesn’t solve my problem
-
K (@QuanTuM_kL) reported@JJMootts @virginmedia I don't get why everyone moans, been with them for nearly 20 years and might have had 3 issues, it's almost never down, the internet speeds are far beyond what any other provider can do, although the others may have finally caught up, for years it wasn't close.
-
Chris (@Swissffs1980) reported@trapdoor456 @virginmedia I did exactly same. Sacked Virgin off, expensive and loads of problems. You Fibre have been spot on 👍 I wouldn’t change from these now. Never had problems and cheap.
-
Ken Quinn (@Quinny1808) reported@trapdoor456 @virginmedia I have had You Fibre for 2 1/2 years and had no issues
-
K (@Kieranbcfc2) reported@Rugby_Scoop @virginmedia Mad concept but it is possible for both Ireland to be poor and the ref have had a poor game.
-
Shahar Mor (@ShhrMor) reported@Rugby_Scoop @virginmedia TBH, I'm not sure what POM wants. Would he rather the ref penalized the Irish for these "minor" breakdown infringements? His "coaching" actually helped Ireland slow the ball down without being penalized. Not to mention at least 3 yellows that were not given to them...
-
Michelle Wright (@EDsetMefree) reported@virginmedia been with you ever since you were ntlworld, you recently changed my phone to digital with back up emergency phone, the engineer didn’t take my disability into account, has put my phone where I can’t even get to it, impossible to get through to you as you cut the call before connecting, your now not giving me the service I am paying for and in breach of contract, so I am going to cancel my direct debit for all services including tv
-
Horatio Bullwinkle (@harryvek) reported@virginmedia Why do your customer services call me every day when I've told them I'm not interested in taking any more services than I already have. Just today I took a call and told them to stop calling me, no one answered on the other side and then just hung up, how rude !!!.

Wolf of X (@WolfofX) reportedIn 2003, Stan Beaton lost his wife, Ruby, to stomach cancer. Before she passed away, she had recorded the voicemail greeting for their home telephone. It was an ordinary message to anyone else, but to Stan it became the last recording of her voice. For more than a decade, he kept that voicemail safe. He even stayed with the same phone company because he feared changing providers might erase it. Whenever he missed Ruby, he would call his own home just to hear her say, "Sorry, at the moment, Stan and Ruby are not available..." For him, those few seconds were enough to bring her close again. Then, in December 2014, a network upgrade accidentally deleted the recording. Stan was heartbroken. He later said it felt like losing his wife all over again. Believing there was nothing left to lose, he contacted Virgin Media and asked if there was any way to recover it. What followed was something no one expected. Eleven telecommunications engineers spent three days searching through backup systems for a single deleted audio file. They described it as looking for a needle in a haystack, but they refused to give up. They found it. Instead of simply returning the recording, BBC Radio Leeds arranged a surprise during an interview with Stan. As Ruby's familiar voice filled the room once again, he broke down in tears. "That's her. Wonderful. Wonderful." The company later gave Stan permanent copies of the recording on a CD so he would never have to fear losing it again. It wasn't just a recovered voicemail. It was the return of the last words he could still hear from the woman he loved, a voice that had waited silently for years until someone cared enough to bring it back.
