@virginmedia @virginmedia so not only have virgin hiked my bill to £49.00... I’ve had no phone line for 12 months.. it cost me over £4.00 on my mobile to phone them. How does that work Virgin? Appalling service.

  • ChrisMaltby Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia Hi. There’s no fault recorded in the area and I have run diagnostics which came back ok. Third outage today this one has been off for 15 minutes so far. Obviously rebooted hub and PC. This is becoming more frequent

  • paulwitneyphoto paulwitneyphoto (@paulwitneyphoto) reported from Ruddington, England

@virginmedia Adding my wife's phone to the internet/tv package which should include 1, 5G phone, you need to get your customer service sorted out and people who speak English to a higher standard or better still have English speaker #dissatisfiedcustomer with @virginmedia

  • ChrisMaltby Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia 3rd time today. Can someone help me please?

  • nghudson Nigel Hudson (@nghudson) reported from West Bridgford, England

Goodbye @virginmedia 👋🏻 I’d like to say it was fun but you’re over-priced and your customer service is crap.

  • activist84 gerisays (@activist84) reported from Beeston, England

When you’re on the phone to @virginmedia to sort a broadband issue get placed on “hold” while the customer advisor “speaks to a colleague” to be informed the offices are now closed! Absolutely appalling customer service!!! And still haven’t sorted the issue 🙄🙄🙄🙄

  • GodberKen Ken Godber (@GodberKen) reported from Annesley, England

@virginmedia hi - I have a sim only mobile contract that's not been used for at least 18mths. I've stopped the DD as I'm unable to simply cancel via website and the number quoted to call doesn't work. I've got nowhere to go with this problem now.

  • ChrisMaltby Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia PC is Ethernet into Superhub3 but laptop is WiFi. It’s broadband going down completely not just WiFi. This has been ongoing for several weeks albeit not this bad. Kind of lived with it until today

  • paulwitneyphoto paulwitneyphoto (@paulwitneyphoto) reported from Ruddington, England

@virginmedia No, I don't want to do things by text, I want you to ring us, (an English speaking person not a call centre in Delhi) I am a paying dissatisfied customer!🤬

  • ChrisMaltby Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia Always seems to come back after a router reboot. Maybe you could send me a new one, see if that resolves the issue?

  • ChrisMaltby Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia Awful service today, WiFi up and down. Always in the middle of important calls!

  • nghudson Nigel Hudson (@nghudson) reported from West Bridgford, England

@Jess_Guth @virginmedia Trying to get away from them is so difficult. They wouldn’t let me transfer my landline number and then charged me for keeping it open! You’ll never manage to speak to anyone either…not unless you’re paying a bill of course.

  • paulwitneyphoto paulwitneyphoto (@paulwitneyphoto) reported from Ruddington, England

@virginmedia You are clearly having a laugh at our expense. How do we complain about the service by @virginmedia @Ofcom

  • NoGuyTest786 NoGuyTest (@NoGuyTest786) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia Just spent 30 minutes on this text bot and it's very frustrating, they have only just taken my details from me after 30 minutes and can only communicate by sms which is useless, I'd rather wait on a phone line, shocking service, also the English is bad

  • nghudson Nigel Hudson (@nghudson) reported from West Bridgford, England

Managed to finally pay @virginmedia off and get rid of them for good. Absolute shysters and the worst customer service you’ll ever be unlucky enough to encounter. You won’t see me again unless things drastically improve.

  • ChrisMaltby Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia The reboot only works until it goes down again so it doesn’t really ‘work’. Anyway, I spent 40 minutes on the phone yesterday and they’re sending me a new router, hopefully that will sort the problem out. Cheers

  • TweetFlicker Matt Clarke™️ 🎮🕹 (@TweetFlicker) reported from Ilkeston, England

@virginmedia I’m at work. Please call me. You’ll be able to get all my details from the complaint number I’ve given you.

  • red_dog14 Steve Barlow (@red_dog14) reported from West Bridgford, England

@dannyboy71 @skytv Good luck with that Dan @virginmedia without doubt the worse company I’ve ever had to deal with. Absolute shambles of a company who don’t give a flying toss about customer service. Can’t even be arsed to respond even if u put a complaint in writing.

  • GodberKen Ken Godber (@GodberKen) reported from Annesley, England

@virginmedia You couldn't make this incompetence up - had another call, chasing 2 mths costs for a phone not used in over 2 yrs, unable to cancel via website or previous Twitter conversation, and then cuts me off. It's a mthly sim only, if I don't use it don't charge me - simples.

  • paulwitneyphoto paulwitneyphoto (@paulwitneyphoto) reported from Ruddington, England

@virginmedia 1hr 50mins on the phone, mostly on hold, spoken to 4 people, 3 of which bairly spoke english and still no further forward, website not helpful either. Worst service I've ever experienced. @Ofcom

  • LynnDobson4 Lynn Dobson (@LynnDobson4) reported

@virginmedia I told the guy who came to collect the equipment that I had scratched the wall whilst trying to get a photo of the code on bottom of router. Also, rang them up and they said it was a mistake to send someone out. Told them about damage too

  • bear_clare_96 🌈\o/☘ (@bear_clare_96) reported

@virginmedia Nope no option to upgrade thete either, ive tried everything. 20 years of custom and we're fobbed off with you're not eligible, yet new customers get the most up to date soft and hardware no problem. Over £100 a month from and we get the **** equipment. Disgrace

  • rachael2302 rachael worrall (@rachael2302) reported

@virginmedia Sorry, I should have been clearer. Which colleagues/department would deal with this. And when would I expect to hear back / find the issue resolved? I will raise it on the forum as well.
