@Turkey_Twizzler @EE @virginmedia I’m back with EE having previously left 3 years ago as the service was bad. O2 weren’t much better really. My advice, shop around loads, price comparison sites are good now for letting you find loads of deals for the phone you want, your budget etc

@virginmedia Hi, my equipment is irrelevant, the GUI on the routers admin page is just terribly slow, I’ve tried two different pcs, different browsers, even my phone, it’s the router/modem configuration pages are shocking slow to respond to any form of user input.

An update! It gets better, a member of STAFF used @carolineheppell ‘s details for another customer but @virginmedia won’t refund!!! This would be funny if it wasn’t so appalling.

@virginmedia Hi, there’s nothing wrong with my service, the connection is perfect, it’s just the router/modem (Hub 3.0) GUI that’s very very poor.

@ShappiKhorsandi @virginmedia @virginmedia are absolutely useless when it comes to customer service. As others have said, the only way I ever got any help was by contacting the office of the chief exec. Better still, cancel and switch to an organisation who know what they are doing.

@JB_CFFire @virginmedia That's not as unreasonable as it sounds! Many things can interfere with WiFi signals like neighbours who have installed a router emitting a powerful WiFi signal at or near the frequency your router is currently using, some domestic appliances that emit RF & many others.

@LvLy_Lena @virginmedia The worst thing is that I prepared this WEEKS ago before moving so I didn't miss any work, it was the engineer that really didn't seem to know what to do. He also broke a lamp because he ran EVERYWHERE.

@Paulos_the_fog @virginmedia Because of home working I upgraded to 350mbps package and was getting that until a few months ago measured using a variety of apps - now it’s down to 80 consistently.

@virginmedia Its wired and wireless. Most of the time the service is ok sometimes it goes slow and sometimes it dies. Fault checker on the website identified an issue with the router and asked for a reset which was done. No fix.

@virginmedia Then why did you ask when you knew it was problems with a final payment? VM customer service need to improve comms and processes for customers. Very clunky.
