Anyone else living / working in PL3 area of #Plymouth & struggling with the shocking @virginmedia service? No internet yet again- so another lost day of not being able to work from home properly, cancelled meetings/no email ..just been told they will have us re connected at 1855!

@virginmedia I think you need to remember in this day and age, upload speed and reliability is equally if not more important to a lot of customers. My download speed never dropped last night.. upload was terrible so had to cancel.. 😔

@NETGEARgaming @NETDUMA could I get some uk based help please? I have put my XR500 into IPv6 tunnelling as I am with virgin media this is connected to my Xbox one S for two years almost I have had the same set up as it works better gaming wise, I unplugged my Xbox 1/2

@virginmedia really??? So whilst testing all day upload has been fine and stability has been fine now it's late it's crap again?! That definately sounds like you are throttling it to me!

@virginmedia @ruskin147 I’ve been on hold on their online chat since Friday 🤬, every 12 hours or so they come back to me and ask if I still need help, I say yes and then then they disappear for 12 hours. Intermittent fault on tv signal wifi constantly dropping out. Working at home is impossible.

@virginmedia Internet very slow. Under 50mbps. Pay for 200mbps. New router on the way. Netflix won’t connect either. Got to reset router everyday. Told me I’d be compensated on next bill but wouldn’t say how much? Could you advice pls?

@virginmedia It's wireless but obviously hub is connected by cable. It's upto 200m occasionally. But often down to download about 50 and upload about 5.

I’ve been on your so called online chat help desk since Friday @virginmedia it’s now Wednesday. Every 12 hours I get asked if I still want help which I confirm I then have to go through security checks and then no response for another 12 hours then the whole process starts again

Finally something positive to say about @virginmedia following a call from Callum at the “executive team” providing the level of current service I would expect from a such a huge company! Perhaps the skills of good customer service need to be a CPD exercise for the call centres!

@virginmedia Was told to make a complaint. This is despite the fact that I was told previously that a complaint was raised. A letter has also been sent outlining the details of the complaint. My wife received a threatening letter stating that debt collectors may visit.

@virginmedia Advised to pay bill for service I asked to terminate and make a complaint, despite a complaint already made. I would like a written confirmation by post that the service is now ceased please as all verbal requests were ignored.

@virginmedia No this didn’t work, I had a message saying that the postcode and surname don’t match! But I have already put these in and checked! Also what about the TiVo box which when watching recorded shows keeps freezing and jumping? I also have this problem!

@virginmedia Your team are also lying about what was said to me… the technician, who you have a record of calling me, said he would post a new router… that never arrived… today I was told they can’t find a record… speak to the technician who called me… he’ll confirm it…

@virginmedia James who did it it was having technical problems and it took in total almost 2 hours. That was Friday. It was Sunday when we realised Netflix was missing. I spoke to Lee who was meant to be sorting it.

What is going on with @virginmedia text says broadband is fixed, on line says status in post code is ok, telephone says still issues, internet tells me a technician required and a call centre in South Africa says I’ll have no broadband till Friday?! 😡
