Liam King UK (@liamtheking) reported from Oadby and Wigston, England

@virginmedia Horrific broadband speeds, and even worse customer experience, being passed from pillar to post, continually repeating security questions, going through the story each time and being disconnected thrice in one day, without a single courtesy call back. No worries, BT’s gain

  • ollieg21296
Ollie (@ollieg21296) reported from Ketteringham, England

@virginmedia That didn’t sort any of the issues out. I’d like an engineer to come out please and take a look

  • NikkiPearman
Nikki Pearman 💙 (@NikkiPearman) reported from Loughborough, England

@virginmedia That’s my problem. I can’t get to speak to a person and your automated system doesn’t allow me to discuss the issue properly.

  • MYLA5TROLO
Tiger Sue (@MYLA5TROLO) reported from Blaby, England

@virginmedia No, never been asked before. And the advisor said ‘within 4 hours’, engineer turned up today, I’m not there! He said they don’t work Sunday anyway. Advisor needs some re training.

  • NikkiPearman
Nikki Pearman 💙 (@NikkiPearman) reported from Loughborough, England

@virginmedia I have an issue with my wifi signal being weak upstairs - until last 2 mths it was perfectly fine. However it’s impossible to speak with anyone - I don’t want the automated system or a broadband check as service is fine it’s just range. Unhappy customer

  • TeresaBudworth
Teresa Budworth (@TeresaBudworth) reported from Quorn, England

52 minutes and two escalations for @virginmedia call centre to agree the diagnosis I’d already made. ‘Your “intelligent” booster pod is not working. A new one will be with you in 3-5 working days’ No wifi upstairs for a week is unacceptable

  • MatthewWalne
Matthew Walne MCSI (@MatthewWalne) reported from Mountsorrel, England

@virginmedia I just never get anywhere, constantly going around in circles and no one seems capable or willing to help. The broadband kit provided isn’t fit for purpose considering how much I pay for it.

  • ASJPhotography
Alexandra Johnson (@ASJPhotography) reported from Coalville, England

@virginmedia One of your tech engineers confirmed the problem in our local area and following a conversation with customer service they kept trying to get me to create multiple networks for speed. This wasn’t the problem, the problem was amplifiers in the local area!!

  • Dog_in_a_hat
Wayne™ (@Dog_in_a_hat) reported from Leicestershire, England

@virginmedia Why would I run a wired speed test when I have no wired appliances? I pay for a wifi service...

  • NickFitz
Nick Fitzsimons (@NickFitz) reported from Leicestershire, England

@PreetBharara @ZellaQuixote Around 2009 or 2010. I had a computer with a modem that could send faxes that was just about working, and I had to get @virginmedia to send an engineer out to fix my landline. The landline broke again a month or two later and hasn’t worked since, though they still bill me for it.

  • MatthewWalne
Matthew Walne MCSI (@MatthewWalne) reported from Mountsorrel, England

@virginmedia Forget it. Totally useless all round. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. What’s the point having a social media team?!

  • MatthewWalne
Matthew Walne MCSI (@MatthewWalne) reported from Mountsorrel, England

@virginmedia The wifi in my house is awful despite having 500mb broadband with you

  • rachlb33
Rachel Biddles (@rachlb33) reported from Glenfield, England

Always good when @virginmedia take your internet down on a Friday to ‘improve the service’ without any warning, when you’re working from home!

  • breadf2man
Fazal Rehman (@breadf2man) reported from Thurmaston, England

@virginmedia It said Internet not working and to stick cables in which I did and then it said it was fixed like magic but its not ... still not working
