@VodafoneUK @speckyninja I had a debt collection call (2015) about a Vodafone debt that Vodafone had previously told me they’d cancelled (2014) as it was due to them misselling us a product (international calls package when I was in India). Horrible company.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Absolute disgrace, you should be picking up a phone and ringing this poor man directly. ******* “bot?” You couldn’t make it up!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I know that Vodafone does badly in customer service but really, @VodafoneUK this is pitiful. Stop harassing a recently bereaved family, and in particular, a vulnerable older man.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot After this public shaming of your insensitive and cold-hearted customer support service, your response is ‘Drop us a DM via our BOT’? I mean, seriously? You couldn’t it up.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Their customer service set-up is shockingly bad.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I once told a similarly unresponsive apparatchik that I did not have my mothers new number as it was tooo hot where she was! Asked what did I mean, I explained how hot hell probably was and where she was saying words we always got in trouble for! It worked.

@richarde26 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Lasting Power of Attorney is a fine idea - but when the other party to a contract doesn't listen or accept your explanations - or worst of all their Bot doesn't include that as one of their categories - you are still stymied.

@maccaspacca1 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is often the most frustrating aspect of it. You know the poor person dealing is as impotent as you are to take action. I try to be patient with them, but the policies in place make them the whipping boys.

@otterjotters @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They did the same to a friend when she was supposed to get an nhs discount and never did.

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja Mate! You need to do far better than this. He’s got nearly half a million followers and your treatment of his family is nothing short of horrendously awful. Apologise and sort it out
