@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone are scum. Took me days of effort around a few different shops in different citys to cancel an account. Could not do it over the phone.

  • adskidids Adam (@adskidids) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot Your tweet about believing companies can't behave like this really resonated with me. I was an @VodafoneUK customer until recently. One day my connection suddenly dropped. After hours of calling and emails it turned out my line had been 'taken over' by another company...

  • adskidids Adam (@adskidids) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Even the company that has erroneously taken over my line, who I had no contract with and was not a customer of, eventually (after hours more arguing) offered me double that amount! Do not join @VodafoneUK. They're the only company I feel strongly enough about to type all this.

  • steve4995 steve (@steve4995) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Well done Vodafone for accepting that errors was made and let’s hope it doesn’t happen again

  • issymknight Dissypo (@issymknight) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I agree it's very difficult closing down accounts. We have just managed to close down email account.

  • shellyh77 Michelle Harris (@shellyh77) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot 11 years go when my dad died it took my mum months to cancel his contract and only for Vodafone to turn round to say how can we stop him leave Vodafone even though we told them he had died guess nothing had changed then

  • ryanpatersonrfc Ryan Paterson (@ryanpatersonrfc) reported

@VodafoneUK has to the worst service I’ve ever experienced over and over again! Have signal have credit but not able to receive or make calls text or data! And you now won’t take my calls think I’m going to switch, prob @EE will you be willing to take my £360 per year

  • VR461983 Kris (@VR461983) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Please answer my dm @VodafoneUK currently have 87yr old grandma who lives alone without any means of contact due to terrible service

  • HeatherHjshep Heather Shepherd (@HeatherHjshep) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK A colleague of mine died of cancer. She had a work mobile. Vodafone wouldn’t cancel the contract unless i got, from the family, a copy of the death certificate. They are one of the most i humane companies I’ve ever dealt with.

  • Frank_Mortimer Frank Mortimer (@Frank_Mortimer) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Don’t get me started, BT switched my mum to BT One, no phone for 2 months, in the end she had to pay a third party consultant to explain to BT how they had to fix it. Service is far worse, don’t touch BT One.
