@VodafoneUK @360Art_Design I googled and found the bereavement team number easily but why not reply with the number when you saw the original tweet? Why reply talking about DMs, Bots and follow this link. You clearly have some development issues on your frontline customer facing team.

@therealkarene @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Exactly the same happened to my Mum when she tried to cancel my Dads number after he passed away! They would only talk to him! After we had eventually sorted it, all other accounts were cancelled, will never use them again.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Im having a similar problem leaving virgin media - asking questions I can’t answer then refusing to cancel my contract as I can’t prove it’s me - even though they rang me!!! - but they are still billing me even though I’m not using their service. Had 4 calls like that now. 😡

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone are the worst company EVER! The upset and worry they cause is terrible. I managed to sort it all out but it took hours and hours of my time and countless phonecalls. The rudest company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

@VodafoneUK pls do right by customer I’ve ordered since 5/06/22 yet to have internet. Took 2days to get it installed still nothing. Being debited and told I can’t cancel due to your incompetence. This can’t be right @ofcom I’ve been held hostage by @VodafoneUK

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK So sorry for your loss, when my father in law passed away last year, I called up a network who uses these as their carrier only to be asked if I wanted to upgrade. Compassion is rare these days. Hope you get it sorted it shouldn’t have been this difficult

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Should this go to police or ombudsman? My father, who has passed away, could never have coped with this and would have been very vulnerable to such appalling treatment. Surely it’s elder abuse? Who are they employing?This needs to be shared far and wide.
