So 5G officially went live in the UK today on the @EE network in 5 major cities, @VodafoneUK will follow suit in a few weeks. 5G compatible smartphones are still pretty thin on the ground, and with no iPhone expected until 2nd half of 2020 this is going to be a slow burner #5G

@BenObi2000 @VodafoneUK @EE I also believe I may be wrong but the EE does not support UMTS on the esim but Vodafone does. Shouldn’t be an issue really as 4G LTE is pretty much everywhere now.

@iJames_ @DylanMcD8 @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK It doesn’t really bother me, on the Xs you can’t see the carrier unless you pull down control centre because the notch takes up too much space 😂

@DylanMcD8 @iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK @VOXI_UK is owned by @VodafoneUK it’s a sub brand and operates on the Vodafone network as an MVNO, so I’m basically still with Vodafone. It even still says Vodafone as my carrier. So I assume it’s just an admin switch there end.

@eduosborne @VodafoneUK "Chat bots" are the worst thing ever, I've never found one to be even remotely useful. Just a frustrating waste of time

@TheBlackDub1 @VodafoneUK I’ve a whole house on Vodafone but as contracts run down I’m going sim only not enough new features on handsets now all very much the same and not value for money. And I’m an ex-employee so I’m very much aware of what deals are available if you get the customer care agent

@PT3004 @VodafoneUK Vodafone ads are straight up scam. Not to mention that they pay £70 below market price on your trade-in phone. Just a horrible network all round. I can’t wait for October for me to leave them.

@VodafoneUK so far over three hours on the phone and my issue on my home fiber not resolved. Useless customer service.

@VodafoneUK You don't seem short of staff to ring me once my account was cancelled. Perhaps you should look at your protocol around customer retention.. Just a suggestion.

@VodafoneUK I can’t believe that to be honest. I’ve always been with Vodafone since 2001 and I don’t know why . I’m in Oxford and the reception is terrible. Slow internet. Poor call quality. I give up trying to use any apps that require 4g when I’m out and just wait to connect to WiFi

@VodafoneUK So can I be assured that the next time I dial 191, I will be able to speak directly with a customer service advisor?
