@GillianDouglas2 @VodafoneUK @ThreeUK Whilst I understand there’s inflation to keep up with, surely the customer and the circumstances have to come into consideration. We’ve all been told to stay home. I have no income for now.

@Natalie98152083 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK We had to do this with BT. It works. CEOs don't want to be bothered with customer complaints.

@GeorgeMonbiot @IanMartin @VodafoneUK I suggest contacting them yourself and let on you are your father. Dispicable the way these organisations treat people when they are grieving.

@VodafoneUK Wow. How about you contact customers first about any monies you think are owed rather than 1st contact being from a debt agency? Account in wife’s name, works office hours, you keep calling her during office hours now you’ve closed complaint as she’s not picked up. Around we go.

@FMHurley @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK sit in a dreary council office with my mother 3 days after she suddenly lost her partner of 50 years, answering stupid questions to get the certificates. Cancelling accounts was easy.

@VodafoneUK I managed to leave Vodaphone but you cancelled my account and I can't use Tobi or put my username or password in and the two staff i spoke with on two occasions staff were extremely rude to me. So it seems I can't get back the £30 they owe me, robbers!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK We had similar problems with another provider despite sending copy of death certificate. Complete inability to understand concepts such as executor or power of attorney or indeed to accept that they couldn’t talk to the account holder as he was deceased.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Sorry for your loss (and the hassle too). Growing up, I was always taught when dealing with the public, that the customer is always right (even if they’re not). Can’t remember the last time I felt like a valued customer anywhere these days.
