@VodafoneUK your adverts are misleading as it says you can roam in more countries at no extra cost than any network, however you have to pay £6 a day in roam further destinations....

So I've been on with @VodafoneUK live chat technical support most days since getting an upgrade a couple of weeks ago, have had the matter escalated to the complaints team who promised it would be fixed by last night, but still no sign of WiFi calling working.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK stroppy letter to CEO office before they would sort it out. (EDF Energy, by contrast, were sympathetic, helpful and efficient.) Means I will never have an account with TalkTalk. 2/2

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja I have had this also and tweeted shocking customer service will never touch anything involving them again. Swindled me out of 30 quid and just the constant hassle. @VodafoneUK hang your heads in shame.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK A bot is an automated system that directs you through a decision tree. It is only as rude as the programmer, unlike Vodafone staff who can be as rude as their day is bad.

@VodafoneUK you are a disgrace trying to give us a call about a problem with my daughters phone who is abroad and going around in circles trying to speak to a human instead of your bloody answer service

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Cancel the direct debit. Debt recovery agencies have no authority. Just tell them "send as many letters as you like, this is a you problem". Sorry for your loss.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had this with #bt_uk, who took advantage of elderly relative with @DementiaUK and sold her a broadband package with full sport. The installer came round and asked where her pc or laptop was. The vile scumbags then took 6 months to cancel after she passed. Hid behind GDPR.

@GeorgeMonbiot Had almost identical experience with @VodafoneUK years ago in the days of dial-up internet. Signed up with credit card but couldn't cancel after end of contract. Numerous threatening phone calls from them, eventually had to cancel credit card. Can't believe they're still at it.

@GeorgeMonbiot This is absurd! No one knows this, never mind a confused elderly, recently bereaved man whose children have power of attorney. That is disgraceful @VodafoneUK

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot You did the same thing with my mother in law who had memory issues. First sold her a totally unsuitable contract then then refused to cancel it.
