Very poor service from @VodafoneUK called your customer service 6 times this week to report a mistake you made in my house move, was hung up on 2 times, told the address was right the other 4 yet still no broadband and emails to say it has been switch on at my old address

@IainTrundle @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK So true, its an impentrable wall of bureacracy. I had months of it with TSB. The call centre staff, when you got through were pleasant, but they just made excuses for the failings of systems they didn't understand - you are never permitted to talk to the people who do the work.

And no matter how much you reason or plead with them, their emotionless, dead eyed **** customer services just don't give a sh1t. But continue to claim that they do care about their customers and humans. Horrible company.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot I will never ever sign up with Vodafone. I will advise anyone who is with them to cancel, and I will deter anyone from ever taking a contract with them. Corporations need to stop treating their customers with contempt. Dispicable company!!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They blocked my son's calls/texts after a serious (fatal) accident abroad when he needed it desperately. After a *very* lengthy process, they unblocked it, only to block it again the next day. I would *never* use @VodafoneUK, the distress for us both added to the nightmare.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I remember when my granddad sadly passed, we were lucky that there were limited complications trying to cancel… But barely 5 mins after telling the advisor my granddad had passed, they moved to trying to SELL US a new contract. Talk about picking your moments…!

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Your doing the same thing to me my late estranged husband lost his phone I contacted you for a new SIM card for him - never received it so stopped direct debit after at least 9 months having had no service whatsoever. Shame on you Vodafone. See you in court!

@GeorgeMonbiot I have felt the same with @VodafoneUK that is is also a strategy to continue charging you for the handset even after the contract expires. And to continue charging you the same rate as your contract while the network coverage is so poor that you can hardly make calls or use data

@SheonaG @VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Sky sent my mother flowers for her lost internet connection, when it was a BT Openreach issue. Sky were very good. But I had a similar difficult situation trying to cancel my Virgin Media contract when I was moving house. It was hideous!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Not the same thing but they were incapable of transferring my DD to a new account a few years ago and left me with constant demands for money I was trying to pay whilst heavily pregnant. Their staff didn't even seem to understand how DDs worked. I'm sorry they've been so awful.
