  • UKLightCreation
Bryan Light (@UKLightCreation) reported from Middlesbrough, England

As great as @VodafoneUK are, their phone insurance absolutely stinks, would advise everybody to avoid it and even cancel it if they have it you are much better off saving the money and putting it in a separate account

Hi @TalkTalk, I don't appreciate my mother receiving a letter threatening debt recovery for non payment of a bill when she already notified you, incl @VodafoneUK - her new internet supplier. She's recently become a widow & your customer service is much to be desired!

  • AlertRedcar

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This has probably already been answered but do they not just accept a death certificate as proof and close the account down

  • Cadzo10
Rich Caddy (@Cadzo10) reported from Redcar, England

@VodafoneUK Sincerely hope anyone with mobility issues doesn't choose a Vodafone contract and have to pass security!

  • Ummar_Hanif
Ummar Hanif (@Ummar_Hanif) reported from Middlesbrough, England

@VodafoneUK have without a shadow of a doubt the worst customer service of any company I have dealt with, 1 hour and 3 different members of staff and 3 seperate times I had to start all over again just to make a single payment! This is why customers leave!

  • Cadzo10
Rich Caddy (@Cadzo10) reported from Redcar, England

@VodafoneUK Hey James, obviously you don't as the first time I called the operator identified the issue and instructed me to cancel the debit payment with my bank without saying I didn't have any security on the account.

  • johnheagney
John Heagney (@johnheagney) reported from Carlton, England

@VodafoneUK Hi, please can you assist, I previously used Vodafone Wi-fi calling as my mobile signal at home is poor. This worked happily until a few months ago and now it only works if I go to Airplane mode... this is nuts, please help! Thanks, John

  • LeachSie

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK Hope you dont have mobile with them- when my late husband died we tried to cancel hus mobile account and get back the £50 credit i had put on account so he could ring people from hospice - they insisted on talking to account holder even after we sent screem shot death certificate

  • alanmoore4816
    Alan Moore 🇪🇺 🇬🇧 (@alanmoore4816) reported

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK I finally left virgin as trying to contact was literally like going around in circles (constantly), it was extremely poor and exceptionally bad service.

  • MissHellieRoo
    Hellie Roo (@MissHellieRoo) reported

@VodafoneUK I was looking to upgrade but you're trying to charge more for the airtime plan on an S26 than an iPhone17 - for the same airtime plan! Obviously the device plans are different but why a £10pm difference for the same airtime service? Make it make sense.

  • neenooor
    Nina Moir (@neenooor) reported

@SW_Help @VodafoneUK @MayorofLondon What would be good is we put some money into the infrastructure before we build thousands of new homes. Trains getting worse & worse from Waterloo. No reception on mobiles so can’t even check what is going on as the sw train app never works

  • janeskuds
    Jane Skudder (@janeskuds) reported

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK A shame to see they haven't upped their game. When our dad died, nearly 20 years ago, my sister ended up explaining to a number of call handlers that the account owner would not be able to cancel his own account unless they had a seance...

  • dissy_teabag
    dissyteabag (@dissy_teabag) reported

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK I found the worst to deal with were tv licensing I was harassed for weeks after telling them dad died as they were adamant mum needed in for her care home which she didn’t

  • FellowStargazer
    Audrey D (@FellowStargazer) reported

@PCJack94 @VodafoneUK no usable WiFi service to parts of of England also. (Ongoing for weeks)

  • Gary_Kilroy
    Gary Kilroy (@Gary_Kilroy) reported

I'm with @ThreeUK I recently got an email telling me they've merged their network with @VodafoneUK and I can connect to both and get better coverage. The service has got worse!

  • EveeCarr
    Evee Carr (@EveeCarr) reported

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK Been there. VM are bloody awful. Condolences for your loss.

  • gerddinythfa
    John Cook (@gerddinythfa) reported

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK My sincere sympathies for your loss and the unnecessary problems. When my Mum passed, everyone, BT, Sky, OVO, were brilliant, compassionate and there to minimise the hassle. Luckily she wasn’t a Virgin customer. Shame on them.
