@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Yep, same here. Would not speak to me or cancel contract. I cancelled DD. Got the debt collectors letters, ignored them all. If they had turned up I would have sent them to my wife’s care home! Good luck getting the money from a woman with advanced dementia 😡

@snitsnew @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK If it's within 14 days they absolutely must agree to cancel the contract. Literally the law. There must have been some other circumstances otherwise they're in breach of UK trading law.

When my dear Mum passed away she had a little phone with @tescomobile & I can't praise their customer service enough sorted within 15 mins & a lovely email received.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Sorry you've had to go through this. After my partner died my first interaction with Vodafone was via debt collectors, with no prior communication from Vodafone themselves. Sounds like they've got serious issues to address.
