@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK We had similar problems with another provider despite sending copy of death certificate. Complete inability to understand concepts such as executor or power of attorney or indeed to accept that they couldn’t talk to the account holder as he was deceased.

@GeorgeMonbiot @KathyBurke @VodafoneUK Yep same thing happened when my mum passed away , even wanted to speak to her, as I wasn’t the account holder ,then my dad was getting letters addressed to her still demanding to pay a year later, ermmm slight issue with that happening

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK So sorry to hear you have go tro this. My husband had problems with Vodafone and after no help for weeks emailed their CEO. Things moved quickly after that. I asked him for email link but unfortunately he's no longer got it but said found it after googling

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK With the most sensitive and deepest condolences 😔 Unless there is a death cause within the contact then it can still be liable for the persons estate to pay till the end of the contract. They did this to me when I work in FRANCE and I had no mean’s to contact them to cancel 🤬

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Numerous times this year, we have only received barely adequate service from different UK companies by taking to Twitter. Only then, have we had satisfaction. Service standards in the UK are woeful. Do better!
