  • FoxyCakes_Bakes Foxy Cakes And Bakes (@FoxyCakes_Bakes) reported from Horncastle, England

@Minion_Josh_ @VodafoneUK Good luck. I had the worst customer service ever from Vodafone. Great at selling you anything but when it goes wrong 😡😩. Nightmare. So rude and awful. Never again.

  • Glynwith1n Glyn Handley (@Glynwith1n) reported from Alford, England

As explained to everyone else it has nothing to do with that. Wonder if I cancel my direct debit how quickly they will resolve the issue @VodafoneUK

  • FoxyCakes_Bakes Foxy Cakes And Bakes (@FoxyCakes_Bakes) reported from Horncastle, England

  • fakeaccount1939 penny flynn/Lady Penelope Flobblebottom (@fakeaccount1939) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @Dr4OurNHS @VodafoneUK Many companies behave like this. Customer Services hardly work at all in any service industry these days. Sorry you went through it. We had a lot of problems with a utility company. Useless.

  • indiefootballl Mr Person (@indiefootballl) reported

@speckyninja @VodafoneUK Was on @VodafoneUK years ago. Would rather eat my own **** than use them again

  • MutliRaceMan Jean Thierry 💙 (@MutliRaceMan) reported from Birmingham, England

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This doesn’t surprise me at all. My mother died in 2003 and trying to close her BT landline account was a nightmare. The person I spoke to kept saying “we need to speak to the customer”! Finally I went into the BT sales centre saw a charming lady and in 20 minutes I had finished.

  • ArthurAssendune Sir Arthur Assendune 🇪🇺💙#FBPPR #FBPE 🇺🇦 (@ArthurAssendune) reported

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja Perhaps you had better have a chat with your customer service agents, eh! Some training might be in order, and perhaps a review of your incentive schemes. Oh, and get yourself certificated to ISO 9001.

  • fakeaccount1939 penny flynn/Lady Penelope Flobblebottom (@fakeaccount1939) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Oh come on. Most service companies behave like this. It’s one of the worst aspects of 21st century failed capitalism.

  • jamesr4343 James Robinson (@jamesr4343) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK When my father died 16 years ago I was told by talk talk that they could only cancel the account with the permission of the account holder (who I reminded them was dead) 😡. Wrote to the CEO to complain. Heard zip. Eventually spoke to someone with some compassion to find a way.

  • katheri23524514 Dame kittykat (@katheri23524514) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @SwailesRuth @VodafoneUK Shocking. We all die. We need our affairs to be handled well and our relatives to be treated with compassion. Seems like a huge gap in training which many of us could help.with!

  • CB0783 Carol B 💙🌻🇺🇦🌻🇺🇦 (@CB0783) reported

@alaaa99 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Cancelling my husband's bank accounts/ transfering joint to sole was nearly as bad. All of them insisted I make an appointment and visit a branch with previous statements. Just what I needed whilst trying to deal with the loss of what had been the better half of me for 34 years.

  • plainoldgrumpy Grumpy C (@plainoldgrumpy) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Customer services is non-existent in the UK. Companies don’t spend any money on it, it’s mostly on script and all revolves around making the most money possible, instead of serving customers. Was having this exact conversation with my wife yesterday. It’s disgusting.

  • murrinholi Laura (@murrinholi) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK that's illegal (in Scotland)? I was able to cancel all of my Grandparents accounts, but my dad had to take their death certificate into the bank. Complain to the ombudsman because you're right not everyone has as many followers as you or the money to get into debt. It's awful
