  • CynthiaLarbey Dr Cynthia Larbey (@CynthiaLarbey) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone are arseholes. I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole. My close friend had exactly the same problem with her mother in Italy and she took them to court and won.

  • MrCheapSeats Dave Cole (@MrCheapSeats) reported

@GordonJBarclay @VodafoneUK My father died on Christmas Day. It took me 15 minutes to cancel his Vodafone contract without issue.

  • Dix_i312 Muca (@Dix_i312) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @NormalN7 @VodafoneUK George cancel the account and tell them your going all over social media with the story and have complained to ofcom.

  • Pottomatic Grant (@Pottomatic) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I will definitely never buy any product from Vodafone ever.

  • JayBrown001 Jay Brown (@JayBrown001) reported

@VodafoneUK @debrakidd Shambles of a company, my wife couldn’t receive phone calls or text messages and the only help she could get was the agent online and they kept trying to text her a code to get into her account… went round in a circle for days, we were stuck abroad, they are an utter shambles!!

  • thenorth4theeu Gail (@thenorth4theeu) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Couldn't they just accept a copy of the death certificate to cancel the contract?

  • GardenG1rl Alison Dark (@GardenG1rl) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @KathyBurke @VodafoneUK Not in the same league of hell, but the outsourced 'service' that our local council use sent my Mum a Council Tax demand this year - 3 years after she had died. Terrible that your LPA was disregarded. I hope your father is ok after such appalling treatment.

  • FionaMcCann86 Fiona McCann (@FionaMcCann86) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK When my sister passed away they demanded her original death certificate from me to cancel her contract. They were rude and insensitive and to top it off, threatened to have her cut off… The absolute worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

  • trunnacl Tom Runnacles (@trunnacl) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I’m a customer beyond now my contracted period with you and I have to say this is atrocious, glib, tone-deaf, generally disgraceful behaviour - can you really not see how inhuman your response has been?

  • Scotsneil17 Roger Neilson (@Scotsneil17) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Absolutely shameful behaviour . Heads should roll for this to ensure your experience is never repeated
