@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Same frustration with #VodafonItaly @VodafoneIT Took me 3 months of letters, e-mails and phone calls to finally have the contract cancelled after I left Italy. Employees on the phone were very nice. Letters and mails were never answered.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had a similar problem with BT. The account was in my wife’s name. She died nearly ten years ago. When I spoke to BT they said it was impossible to change the name to mine. Last year I filled in a ‘contact us’ form and they were suddenly able to do it.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I used to work for a similar company and whenever people called wanting to cancel accounts for deceased family members, I just offered my condolences and cancelled their accounts, no further questions. If you’re dead, you’re no longer in contract and that’s that.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot You send outstanding debts to TDX Prime debt collection, they charge you for a whole length of the contract , default you. No chance for the customer. TDX Prime and connection to @VodafoneUK is against #FCA regulation. Investigate the open complaint.
