  • allyyoopp Ally 🏴‍☠️ (@allyyoopp) reported from Stittenham, Scotland

@VodafoneUK Upgraded my contract 5 weeks ago. New phone didn’t arrive, spoken to 3 different people, all of whom basically palmed me off. Spent 3 hours in a store today, left with no service and had to pay for a SIM card to be able to use my old phone. Still waiting on my new…

  • cammymacd68 Cameron Macdonald (@cammymacd68) reported from Stittenham, Scotland

@VodafoneUK is there an issue with online and telephone customer service since last night? I’ve been trying to contact regarding an upgrade which I processed at 5pm yesterday but have had no emails etc about?

  • SoapQueen86 Jan Robertson (@SoapQueen86) reported from Cromarty, Scotland

I don't know how many times @VodafoneUK have to be told in-door signal 📶 in #Cromarty is non-existent, even with a plug in booster. I don't receive texts or calls & can't make any. The mast in #Invergordon has been at fault for years. FIX THE MASTS IN #RossShire & #BlackIsle 😠

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BellYard_Mel Melanie Riley (@BellYard_Mel) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Was early cancellation charge they didn’t invoice for. Now have bad debt for 6 years on my credit. Despite having never defaulted on any payment ever in 20years of property ownership… Couldn’t get anyone to do anything about it @VodafoneUK since have been 4 interest rate rises

  • The_Ratchman Richard Powell (@The_Ratchman) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Wow. Such a 'corporate' response. Not only does this come across as crass but minimal effort as well. Almost as if written by a bot itself. The situation is bad enough, but a bad response compounds those issues, and now you look even more uncaring in the public eye.

  • cmaryk93 Christina Mary 💙 (@cmaryk93) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is awful. O2 were amazing and more than supportive when I lost my Dad last year when I was sorting out all his account bits. This is the last thing bereaved families need on top of all the other paperwork and accounts to sort.

  • JkMoysmith JK Moysmith (@JkMoysmith) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had a similar issue here, mother dementia, was sorted after one call.

  • BellYard_Mel Melanie Riley (@BellYard_Mel) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I feel your pain. I tried to get a mortgage in January - was all set up until broker tells me there’s a problem with my credit rating. Turns out Vodafone claimed I owed them money. Endless calls hours waiting to be helped - it was my newly deceased Mum’s account

  • Tim_Harris8 Tim Harris (@Tim_Harris8) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I know this won’t help with what has happened with all these truly awful stories but I stopped paying for a contract years ago. Swapped to @giffgaff who have been brilliant. I’ve never looked back, I’d urge everyone to swap to a rolling monthly contract instead.

  • famousegrowse sue (@famousegrowse) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Tried to cancel my dads Virgin account when he died they refused as dad also took the password with him. I suppose they got the message when dads bank account was closed we just don’t need this

  • Bells1590 Chris Bellaby (@Bells1590) reported

@VodafoneUK I'm at the end of my contract period yet to cancel I am required to call up (no website/app function to close my account). I've tried many times and been on hold for several hours. I see from Twitter many people have this issue. This is unacceptable customer service

  • WeeScotUnicorn Alison🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🦄🦕 (@WeeScotUnicorn) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I've not long committed to a contract with Vodafone unfortunately which I can't get out of but I certainly won't renew it if this is how they treat customers

  • marksa300 Mark Simpson 🌻 (@marksa300) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK If I have a problem with Vodafone I go to their nearest shop, they can't put you on hold or use pathetic excuses when you're sat opposite them
