ADHD ADDVOCATE (@AdhdAddvocate) reported@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Or the bank switch service can move all your bills if you switch bank so why can’t they cancel them all in the event of a death? The technical infrastructure is already in place.

Christopher Benson (@cbensonis) reported@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK ...the websites of organisations at random, and typed the word bereavement. Sulli_A (@sullivam1968) reported@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Looking at George's experience and that of many others, the vile treatment by Vodafone of bereaved families or of those who have power of attorney seems to be systemic and reflective of the worst of side corporate culture.
-
Graeme Elliott (@orangegringo) reported@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had exactly the same problems with Three. Diff is Three were part of the Ombudsman scheme and they eventually resolved in my favour. Vodafone were not opting to run their own dispute resolution system.

anita makri (@anita_makri) reported@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Thank you for taking this all the way! Not specific to bereavement - I see change in utility companies I deal with. E.g. referring to internal errors to justify higher payments or no info. Leaving the customer powerless. As if there's no expectation of accountability any more...

Fuel of Britain (@fuelofbritain) reported@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot By some distance the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with #leavevodafone
