ALWAYS argue delivery and returns charges. £8.50 saved on a @VodafoneUK return yesterday just by talking to a human instead of an automated service. #moneysavingtips #hiddencharges #returns #delivery #cash #itsmymoney #money #wonga @

After being reassured by @VodafoneUK support that they'd repair the device under warranty, I sent it back a week ago and today they have today emailed me to say it's not under warranty. Very unhappy, the device is clearly not as described and not fit for purpose.

@VodafoneUK I did… And you don’t - because multiple responses completely missed the point. It magically fixed 7h 40m ago… after being broken everywhere from 10am yesterday… and you spent all of yesterday denying the issue via every support channel - and not just to me!

@VodafoneUK Well… could I politely suggest if you don’t want customers to feel that way, that you start getting some clueful support, and stop actively spending your time denying network issues exist, when it’s bleedingly obvious they did all day, and stop blaming “local” issues or my SIM!

@VodafoneUK To the store as I had to escalate the issue. 5. The store agreed with me that it had come in perfect condition and escalated. 6. Wasn’t allowed a copy of that escalation. 7. Was told today they have no copy of that escalation as if it’s urgent it takes 5 working days!!

@VodafoneUK You really didn’t understand or help. You just frustrated by trying troubleshooting steps that were not relevant. What route is there to get support from you that doesn’t involve boilerplate rubbish like it’s your sim or device when it blatantly isn’t and wasn’t?!?

@VodafoneUK Why is it acceptable to leave an area without any phone signal for 6 weeks, and not even to attempt to make a repair or update your customers with what's going on, even following complaints? Customers rely on 4g in rural areas to be able to work... 1/

@VodafoneUK In summary, why I think your service sucks 1. Took my phone in under warranty with battery not working. 2 you took so long delivering from your store it was out of warranty. 3. Then was told it had a cracked screen and said I must be mistaken when I said it didn’t. 4. Went back

@VodafoneUK …what is the point of you having any form of “support” because you don’t seem to have anyone capable of helping people with issues that aren’t the most basic problems, and you have clearly no network monitoring for non-RAN issues.
