So it's midnight just got a verification code sent to my mobile from @VodafoneUK then a DM on @Twitter asking me to confirm and also send over my date of birth along with the address and my full name have already provided due to issue with our landline. Midnight for a start 👀💤

@VodafoneUK I spent over an hour Sunday sorting it for the most part. The call today was to iron out a few more issues. Instead we’ve been sent back to square one. I’ll be phoning the number but to cancel the contract.

However, this wasn’t the issue - I know this because I drove to a different tower. I followed up again. @giffgaff advised me that my number hadn’t been migrated properly and that it was @VodafoneUK’s fault. But don’t worry because they’re handling it. Perfect, I thought.

Now, I hope that @giffgaff sort this out. But the reality is the damage is done - I’m getting my number, pursuing a refund and going back to my friends at @VodafoneUK. This entire experience has shown just how detached @Ofcom are at making sure MNOs are accountable to customers

@VodafoneUK I also want to make a formal complaint. We chose the more expensive pro plus II to avoid this crap but your ‘techs’ make things worse
