@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Vodafone - sort yourselves out! I was a small business for many years and would never have survived if I’d treated my customers the way you do. The problem is that you ARE organised crime, you’re just too big and disinterested to own and change it.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They’re bloody awful, I’m sorry for you. We had to go to small claims court as their wrongful debt recovery was affecting our credit score/mortgage application @VodafoneUK

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Sorry for your loss. When my Dad passed away, owing a small amount, I called the phone provider to explain. They offered condolences, cancelled the account immediately and waived the outstanding bill. Wish I could remember which company. Good customer service is quite easy.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Absolutely shocking and so distressing for you all. I can recommend O2 for being sympathetic and understanding when my husband had to cancel his Dad’s contract after he died (his mum has Alzheimer’s).

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is utterly shocking, for most companies/services, a polite call with a copy of the death certificate would suffice. Lost my mum a year ago, admin stuff is horrible but usually efficient and courteous.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Appalling culture of autonomic algorythmic call centre brain washing, prevents staff from using their own brains and sense to help resolve problems that haven't been pre-scripted.

@VodafoneUK This proves that the policy is designed not to resolve issues but always harass for money and escalate to debt collection. So if I give you my number I'm sure all that will happen is a Darlek will ring me asking me to pay you money. 3/3
