  • danny_ltd Danny (@danny_ltd) reported from Stirling, Scotland

@VodafoneUK when your gigafast broadband was working it was good, but it’s been 2 weeks since it stopped working, a total of 7 hours of phone calls and still nothing. Just Fix It.

  • liamrun Liam McCabe (@liamrun) reported from Stirling, Scotland

It turns out @VodafoneUK have no sway over their partners @CityFibre so I have to place a new order for installation. First available date 2 August 2019. Prospect of over 2 weeks no broadband #WTF. It gets worse....

  • IvorGCampbell Ivor Campbell (@IvorGCampbell) reported from Callander, Scotland

Morning @VodafoneUK mobile phone service is deader than a dead thing in Callander and we were so enjoying 4g.

  • liamrun Liam McCabe (@liamrun) reported from Stirling, Scotland

@VodafoneUK Ross it is, in any sphere, the worst customer service I have ever received. The whole episode has been an utter shambles. I deeply regret signing up with an organisation as disorganised, dysfunctional and disingenuous as @VodafoneUK.

  • liamrun Liam McCabe (@liamrun) reported from Stirling, Scotland

@TumshiePam @BroganRoganTrev @VodafoneUK @VodafoneGroup If you can bear it see my thread from yesterday. My particular issue is that they are the monopoly supplier of Gigafast fibre broadband having put in a bespoke network under the @CityFibre project.

  • m13att Matt McGrandles (@m13att) reported from Stirling, Scotland

@O2 Same old....no update nor urgency to resolve the incompetence. Looks like I will just have to wait the 72 hours, paying @VodafoneUK for a service they now can't provide until O2 unlock the phones!

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • ceejay_epping Colin (@ceejay_epping) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It took me months to get them to properly close down my account when I left. Only because I am a pedant and checked my DD mandate and credit record that I could evidence that they were not doing their job. Finally got a letter out of them after much wasted time.

  • dan190671 Dan_J (@dan190671) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I would try the CEO’s office. I had an issue with them a few years ago and managed to sort it with them. I found their email address on Google. If all else fails write them a formal complaint and go to the ombudsman if they don’t sort it. Good luck. Awful company!!!

  • ClaptonCC Terence Bates (@ClaptonCC) reported

@VodafoneUK @Darrenjs68 Your response is not really helpful he is asking about an email address not an SMS, we have the same problem. So can you confirm if the email address above is legit or if it is a scam email address?

  • kellymew_ ~❀𝒦ℯ𝓁𝓁𝓎❀~🧘🏻‍♀️ (@kellymew_) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK The network “three” done the same to me when I was told by an employee in the shop to cancel the direct debit after being missold something originally. My “ debt “ was then passed on to a debt collection agency along with all my details

  • matthewcashmore Fr. Matthew Cashmore (@matthewcashmore) reported

Dear @VodafoneUK I've tried very hard to stay with you for my home broadband, but your website won't let me upgrade without speaking to the call centre, which directs me to the website, which sends me to the noisiest call centre on the planet... who can't help me. 1/2

  • rorybell73 Darth Jar Jar wears a mask (@rorybell73) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I worked on Vodafone customer service, which they subcontracted. They're a terrible company.

  • zozoxo26 Zoe King 🇪🇺 (@zozoxo26) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is awful. My partner experienced issues with Vodafone recently, being referred to a debt collector for a debt that didn't exist.

  • BigFlavParloom Flavian Parloom (@BigFlavParloom) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Ok, **** you Vodafone @VodafoneUK, the absolute state of you I'm looking switch providers from 3 and after reading this, you'll never get my business What a miserable, miserly company

  • Kbushwacker Kirsty Bush (@Kbushwacker) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK 2/2 Energy companies r just as bad let alone some ‘higher up’ companies that don’t communicate with their own departments! I’m sorry u & your family had 2 go through this. Hope you have it sorted soon. Bereavement policies need reviewing, it’s not good enough! God bless your mum

  • ceejay_epping Colin (@ceejay_epping) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It’s as if there is an assumption that people who leave are not worth any effort, and who cares what happens to their credit record. If I had the temerity to cancel the DD I’m sure it would have gone to a debt collector despite the fact the balance was £0.
