@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I used to work for a similar company and whenever people called wanting to cancel accounts for deceased family members, I just offered my condolences and cancelled their accounts, no further questions. If you’re dead, you’re no longer in contract and that’s that.

@VodafoneUK @sullivanclean I Left Vodafone best part of 10 years ago and still get bills (with no amount on them) monthly. Gave up trying to get them to stop. It’s a really rubbish interface that will do anything rather than cancel. I can’t log on to their platform but they can send me invoices ???

@VeloUK @VodafoneUK Oh Larry I feel your pain. Spent ages this evening reconnecting Alexa and the digital cat flap (!) to the new “upgraded” wifi. Crap instructions for both. Technology is great when it works, such a bloody pain getting there though 😟

@VodafoneUK @basher_briggs 2) massive CCJ waiting for him upon arrival home and DESTROYED credit score, which is hard enough for a soldier to build, between 2008/10 hounded by them lost his life on service in 2010….. family STILL have Vodafone sending letters and threats chasing the ‘debt’

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK George, had exactly the same issue after our mum passed away. Vodafone forgot to disconnect her Apple Watch sim despite my voice recordings of me closing the account over the phone. To this very day a debt agency is hounding me for the £45 or so they falsely claim I owe.
