@Bluesandwhites7 @CensoredHead I was being a but flippant but my wife and I are both on @ThreeUK and neither received the alert. I see this is explicitly mentioned on BBC so whether there was a network level issue there, I don't know. Exactly the reason you run a test though, isn't it?!

@RW_OD @ThreeUK So a non emergency, emergency service. I doubt this would ever be used unless theres a war (like the old air raid sirens).. The testing failed terribly though.

@ThreeUK its easy to figure out, UK fones dont default to 4G when 3G supersedes it. most areas dont have a great 4G signal. This alert requires 4G. I would comment on how thick folk are but its a waste of my time. Samsung fone have be autop connect 3g/4g/5g for years now

@PeterOuld @ThreeUK From what I hear, the whole network failed due to 3 Cell Towers being set up incorrectly. Whoops.

Mark Yates
(@yatesy60) reported
@ThreeUK This is actually a good enough reason to ditch this rubbish network. When our lives could actually depend on a simple alert and they cannot get that right. No confidence in it actually working in a emergency, so I will be switching networks when the contract is up.

@ThreeUK It would help to test again to make sure the 3 network actually works to late after the fact

@ThreeUK There must be made another test with so many Three costumers not receiving the alert. Further Three support told my husband being on WiFi-call (due to the poor connection at our home) or on Wi-Fi will result in not receiving the alert! NOT ACCEPTABLE!
