Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Eskbank and nearby locations:

  • steph_ashford Stephanie Ashford (@steph_ashford) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport Huawei 4g router 3 Pro. There are no updates pending and I've restarted the machine (again!), but now I'm being told that there's no Internet connection over WiFi. This started yesterday and is causing me major problems with my work.

  • aberquine Laura (@aberquine) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

Anyone else on @ThreeUKSupport got No Service?! I’m in Edinburgh EH11. #ThreeUKdown

  • steph_ashford Stephanie Ashford (@steph_ashford) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport It's not my phone, it's the WiFi. I've rebooted the router multiple times this morning & if I'm lucky I'll connect for 20-30mins, then it's gone again. This god awful home WiFi is the worst thing I've ever experienced and will be why I leave you when my contract is up.

  • steph_ashford Stephanie Ashford (@steph_ashford) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport are there network issues in EH11 2NQ? My WiFi signal is so bad, it's not even registering on a speed test and it's greatly affecting me being able to work.

  • kevocateur Kevin (@kevocateur) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ICTman1076 @ThreeUK Was glad to be rid of Three, the worst performing network in my area for 3G/4G speeds. Would rate their 5G service, but there isn't one where I live in Edinburgh city centre. The fastest I ever got was 1.5Mb/s. A network built for 2003!

  • steph_ashford Stephanie Ashford (@steph_ashford) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport Hello. I have an ongoing router issue & spoken with someone on the phone, who's running tests & getting back to me next week. Now I'm getting an APN connection error, have zero WiFi in EH11 2NQ & the system thinks I've not paid my bill, which was taken on 2 Nov.

  • Johnmhunt John M Hunt (@Johnmhunt) reported from Oxgangs, Scotland

@comer_georgina @ThreeUK @ThreeUKSupport It’s Facebook and Instagram that are down just now. Only showing partial feeds. Doing the same on wifi here.

  • jibuku Nicola Hamblett (@jibuku) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport one of your stores forced a contract through on me without my permission before I’d signed anything and we’re really funny about cancelling it when I said I didn’t want to go through with it. Where can I make a formal complaint please?

  • photomadmichael Michael Higgins (@photomadmichael) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport any known issues in Edinburgh at the moment? As I can’t make calls 😬

  • steph_ashford Stephanie Ashford (@steph_ashford) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport is there any update on when the work in EH11 2NQ might be finished? Your unlimited mobile data home WiFi has an woefully inadequate signal at the best of times, but today it's dropping out every few mins & not even registering on a speed test. Not ideal when WFH!

  • AGDun_162 Aldo (@AGDun_162) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport your services are down again in EH6 area of Edinburgh.. Im lucky if I can get 1.0 Mbps SORT IT PLEASE

  • KyleSlorance Kyle Slorance (@KyleSlorance) reported from Musselburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport The signal hasn’t been great since Thursday morning and 3G isn’t much better due to the Mifi hub being indoors

  • RussellSmith07 Russell Smith (@RussellSmith07) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

Horrendous lack of customer service from @ThreeUKSupport completely faceless and unwilling if to provide support despite an issue being their error. I would appreciate a message back.

  • steph_ashford Stephanie Ashford (@steph_ashford) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport There's no issue with the payment. I've been with you around 16 years and had zero issues using all you can eat data on my phone, since I downgraded my plan & got your mobile WiFi I've had nothing but problems with my connections.

  • AGDun_162 Aldo (@AGDun_162) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport what is going on with your network AGAIN! Numerous times I have reported shoddy network speeds on your 4G Home Broadband . And I don't want to hear lame excuses about "Work Being Carried Out" when that simply isn't the case. EH6 area (Leith)

  • lotternine Charlotte L. 🏳️‍🌈 (@lotternine) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport Nah, still not working - exact same problem

  • RussellSmith07 Russell Smith (@RussellSmith07) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport Again pathetic customer service. I need a call back.

  • WolfVlogsLife WOLF (@WolfVlogsLife) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport I'm going to have to end my broadband contract due to you breaking it. Its been months still no LG TV. When I get in contact with customer service its same old its 10working days away. Maybe time to sue not paying for goods I've not received

  • fmcleanphoto Fiona McLean Photography (@fmcleanphoto) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUKSupport It was disappointing you gave no further reply after I showed it wasn’t the cache & offered zero help whatsoever. Fortunately I was able to find another way to get an add on that didn’t require logging in to the site. As I said, this is exactly the service I’ve come to expect.

  • AGDun_162 Aldo (@AGDun_162) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThreeUK And coming from an Ex Staff Member for Channel Operations.. I know a duff signal and poor network when I see one. No amount of previous reporting has fixed it and I want out of my contact if it doesn't improve !!

3 (Three) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Supernova36 Tim Bunce (@Supernova36) reported

Been a @ThreeUK customer for a decade but will be leaving next contract due to them bringing back roaming charges. Even in the Go Roam countries that didn’t have them before the EU law. Go Roam was your USP, why would people stick around or now..? Ridiculous. @ThreeUKSupport

  • jtd1010 James (@jtd1010) reported

@richyj1504 @ThreeUK Their coverage is AWFUL! I was with them for years and years, moved to Vodafone and i was SHOOK! My phone was faster and you get coverage in places Three never could.

  • nettymartin Martin McDonald 💙 (@nettymartin) reported

@zsk Lack of roaming charges used to be the unique selling point of @ThreeUK you would have thought they would have baulked the chance to levy these charges. I wonder what actual costs the phone companies occur when a customer 'roams'?

  • CmdrSpace I don't want to say (@CmdrSpace) reported

This is especially problematic as @ThreeUK have still not introduced eSim support for Apple Watches. I bought one a few months ago, under the false impression eSim would be supported in 2021. Well, if at all, it looks like it will be supported *after* the roaming charge cut-off

  • burnsy171285 Martin Redman (@burnsy171285) reported

@danbond @ThreeUKSupport @ThreeUK Agree with Daniel- it is suggestive those on rolling contracts could continue to benefit. Can you confirm either way? Could be another decade plus customer on their way out…

  • mark_foan mark foan (@mark_foan) reported

@antoniosteve @ThreeUK Problem is within a short space of time they will all have roaming charges. Where u go then? Off the grid?

  • richyj1504 Rich J (@richyj1504) reported from West Bromwich, England

Big error of @ThreeUK to scrap Go Roam. It’s what put it out there as a big benefit amongst its competitors in the past. Now Three are joining the ranks and I think they’re going to find their customer numbers plummet as a result.

  • CTamstar Christina Tam (@CTamstar) reported

@ThreeUK going to have to say #byebye to three. Now the #roamingcharges are kicking on. I don't need you. It was the only reason I stayed for so long. Reception is never good enough but put up with it.

  • northwineschool Northern Wine School (@northwineschool) reported from Bury, England

@ThreeUK The GoRoam part of your service is all I am with you for, I can find a much cheaper domestic tariff elsewhere. I hope you will be honoring this for those of us stuck in a contract with you past May? Otherwise I expect to be released early

  • mauricerkelly Maurice Kelly (@mauricerkelly) reported

@Bolster @revdenoodles @ThreeUK For me it’s probably EE. Coverage where we live is poor and O2/Vodafone are no good here at all.
