@anildash I can remember Microsoft trying to launch their own network to compete with the internet or so it seemed, I joined got an account then had to wait about an hour, via dialup, to cancel it, back to AOL it was for me.

@AOLSupportHelp I have an AOL app on my iPad with a load of no longer valid contact addresses. When I delete them via the on line site they do not disappear from my iPad contacts. There is no tick box on the iPad contacts to facilitate deleting them direct! Help!!

@theretrobyte I think I would still have been with Dungeon/FlexNet back then. Never used any of the likes of AOL, Freeserve, etc.

@TalkTalk , @Yahoo and @AOL seem to have the greatest difficulty maintaining a normal service. I pay for a service which I am not getting. I am cut off from my email at the moment. Previously, I have been plagued by Indian sub continent scammers because of a data breach. #NotGood

@hexican when it came out that Jericho was MAGA, I was more disappointed than anything. I used to hang out on AOL Grandstand Wrestling, and got to chat with CJ all the time. I really liked the guy, and it just made me sad.

I thought large corporate mergers were a bad idea when Time and Warner merged. AOL acquisition didn't change my opinion. GE/NBC & DISNEY/ABC didn't help.

@gmail @Google @BobFergusonAG WTH?? Why are you not stopping SPAM EMAILS about Norton antivirus. I don’t even have Norton antivirus. Every day 1-3 emails of Spam with 20+ people in the CC. GMAIL do your damn job!! And you wonder why people kept their AOL accounts WoW!

@csuwildcat @UnusedArmor They all had intranets and AOL channels at one time too. Just keep building rational, scalable stuff on bitcoin and we should fare fine. Especially since what is being built on PoS is soooooo bad.

I’m going through the hundreds of voicemails I never listen to and apparently as late as September, 2019, calling and leaving a voicemail asking for someone’s email address was considered acceptable behavior by a boomer. I should have seen this coming. It’s an AOL email address.
