AOL have deleted more than half of the saved emails in my inbox and now I’ve lost the email containing the serial codes for Eleanor Forte AI, Synth V Studio Pro and Natsuki Karin AI. I’ve managed to send an email to Anicute but AHS want a support number (was in a deleted email…)

Can safely say that @AOL @aolmail @AOLSupportHelp have proved to have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No way of contacting other than email, no acknowledgement that Mail account can’t be accessed, no way of resetting password. No help at all. Disgusting.

I should have known I’d never remember to cancel free trials by the way my *** hoarded AOL free trial cds of varying hours in the days of dial up. I taught myself loopholes, not responsibility.

@TheStreet This is one reason I do not like a AOL although I have been a subscriber for 40 years. I cannot get into this article. I have had this problem before. But you don’t seem to be able to resolve it.

@Magnaspecunias @coinbureau I never said ‘being first’ alone is enough. But being first *while* keeping up with improving your product so that you don’t fall behind the competition is key. AOL couldn’t keep up and it didn’t branch out into other avenues which its competition did. So not an apples to apples comparison, really, either way. “Security comes at the cost of high fees.” Silly statement. One could also them turn that around to say “low fees come at the cost of security” which IS 1) the issue for most of Ethereums competition and 2) is a bigger issue because security is more valued by the finically institutions than speed (which has diminishing returns — you only need to be fast enough while being the most secure). Financial institutions want reliability and decentralization and security far more than they do speed. Speed is the last of their worries. We know that because current trad fi has been happy using the system it’s been using for many decades, which is very slow. That’s because they value security far above speed. Pristine collateral is far more important as well and that’s where ETH shines. “Real innovation.” ETH has been innovating. Nothing is stopping it from implementing new ideas from other chains which it HAS been doing. “Legacy baggage” is just subjective word salad meme coin bag holders use to shill their ghost coins no one wants to use. ETH is more tried and true than those. And fees have constantly come down. With future upgrades it comes down more and gets faster. The newest one will for example give it a few hundred percent increase in speed. So again, just word salad to make yourself sound smart. Also, you don’t understand L2’s.

Robert Johnson explains the exit-timing test behind selling BET to Viacom. BET had gone public in 1991 as "the first African American company publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange." Then Johnson and John Malone "bought the company back private in '98." The question became: "How do we continue to grow it and at the same time create an exit strategy for Liberty Media?" Then the market gave him a signal. "AOL merged with Time Warner." "That was sort of the highest valuation for media companies you'd ever see in a long time." When Sumner Redstone called, Johnson's first answer was not yes. "I don't think it's for sale." "Maybe we'd like you as a partner." "But I'm not ready to sell." He sold only after the control terms protected the asset. "If they wanted me to stay at the company for the five years I was going to sign the contract, it had to be independent." "I would only report to Sumner or Mel." When I look at a sale, this is the part I care about. The high valuation matters, but the better question is whether the buyer, timing, and control terms protect what made the asset valuable. - Robert Johnson on FoundationINTERVIEWS

@TreadOnThis_ @BillWiIdin @DiinamicMAGA Boomers absolutely had the technological equivalents. New cars every 2 years. AOL. A new gateway or Compaq Presario every time new RAM dropped. Big screens. DVDs. Home stereo. Waterbeds. Arguing otherwise is the most ridiculously stupid thing I've heard in my entire life
