@musicstruggles1 I worked in tech support for AOL. I remember one day being bored and looking up the screen name "Metallica". Traced it back using the billing software we had, it was "Metallica". So I sent them an IM. HAHHA, someone said hello back to me. I'm pretty sure it was Lars. HAHHAH

@CCVagina And… on AOL if you UNSENT an email before it was read, it was UNSENT. Kills me how bad Microsoft is at doing that within a company’s internal Outlook server.

@kentindell Not American Online, that was terrible. AOL Instant Messenger. I'm pretty sure you're old enough that was the default and pretty good pre-social-media platform we all used and loved.

@zoonotic1 When I picked up the phone, it took maybe 45 seconds to realize that the person on the other end wasn't an employee of our company -- it was some random lady who had dialed a wrong number & was having trouble with her AOL dialup connection. I walked her through it from memory.
