  • SpacemanCre8 Spaceman - Andy G (@SpacemanCre8) reported from Ditton, England

Can safely say that @AOL @aolmail @AOLSupportHelp have proved to have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No way of contacting other than email, no acknowledgement that Mail account can’t be accessed, no way of resetting password. No help at all. Disgusting.

  • PhilLeePhotos Phil Lee (@PhilLeePhotos) reported from Gillingham, England

@AOLSupportHelp Hi AOL, we are having terrible speed /connection problems and we have switched router on and off. How do we get this rectified,. My wife's trying to work from home and it's causing no end of problems. Cheers Phil

Shocking service from @curryspcworld today - waited in for 6.5hrs for a dishwasher that never turned up. Two different stories from the driver, both of which were crap. Now ordered with @AOL who will hopefully do a better job on Tuesday 👍🏻

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • TopoGigio_sol Topo Gigio | topogigio.sol (@TopoGigio_sol) reported

@alexSoKrispy @jpeggler no clue, just googled it... was shocked. "There are still 1.5 million people paying a monthly subscription service fee for AOL — but instead of dial-up access, these subscribers get technical support and identity theft software."

  • Slick_Teddy West Orange Teddy (@Slick_Teddy) reported

Ya'll remember AOL Dial Up? Like if you was on the phone you couldn't use AOL type **** Lmaooooo

  • dear_maga Dear MAGA (@dear_maga) reported

@charlesmwood3 In the 90s, a random guy with a Superman cape named CASearcher on AOL found hundreds of adoption related persons. Never knew how he did it but he found nearly every single request. Wonder if he's still around. Good luck.

  • tekknolagi Max Bernstein (Bread-Eval-Print-Loop) (@tekknolagi) reported

I don't really know what I'm talking about, both since it's been forever and since we never had AOL in our house, but I have not been so enthralled with a UI since the AOL application, with its browser, chat, other applications -- all contained in one window

  • boomdowski Boomer Cruz | Copy Coach 💬 (@boomdowski) reported

@GrammarHippy Got my start in copywriting through AOL Instant Messager (AIM). Used to help my friends get dates with girls. Had a pretty robust funnel for a middle schooler. I was paid in Doritos.

  • Bart_Giamatti A. Bartlett Giamatti (@Bart_Giamatti) reported

@lastboyscout77 @wwe_wwf_Junkie Incorrect. WCW was a division of AOL Time Warner. It went from profiting $30M in 1998 to losing $62M in 2000. That's why the show ended. Had zero to do with ratings, and everything to do with that WCW was owned by the network and it was bleeding money. AEW is independently owned.

  • datart datart (@datart) reported

  • datart datart (@datart) reported

@bhschenker a year later, it aol spam numbers have increased. gmail is not this bad, not even close

  • JRWC__ Kebab (@JRWC__) reported

@DraculaPresley @Jacktheoiler Classic case of the tortoise and the hare, being first isn't always best. I think the space has a bad case of thinking nothing can ever topple ETH similar to early days of internet, where is AOL now, once the biggest onboarder of early internet use.
