CompuServe when I first got online in 1995, MSN Messenger, the very occasional foray into Usenet. Tried AOL, ICQ, a few others. But never enjoyed them. Had both AIM and Yahoo Meseenger But only very rarely used them.

Of course, just like Married With Children, Beavis & Butthead, Prince's Batdance music video, AOL chatrooms, etc., this was never enforced. He just expected us to obey for some reason, and he forgot he ever banned anything a week later.

@VerizonSupport Gee, so nice to know we don't have Verizon's help any more. Apparently we were moved to AOL, who told us to "call back later." Meanwhile the emails are being deleted from the church's account and the secretary can't do anything about it, on the first week of Advent.
