    @Miss_Snuffy Self pity finds many friends online from the earliest days of community forums up to today's toxic social media. "Share your support" we used to say at AOL and people did and lots was valuable, but a deep streak of 'alternative truth' bedded down there too to solicit attention.

    CompuServe when I first got online in 1995, MSN Messenger, the very occasional foray into Usenet. Tried AOL, ICQ, a few others. But never enjoyed them. Had both AIM and Yahoo Meseenger But only very rarely used them.

    My Japanese client has asked for my age for the 5th time in a row. What's the issue? I'm I too young for the legal profession? Does being old mean experience? I believe not. I know of 50 year old lawyers who dont a thing or 2 despite being in practice for ages. An aol kodu yawa

    @TrudoJo Since I was about the age of AOL being in its prime, I always figured I could be spied on in any amount of ways, and just accepted it. I can't stop them from fixing their reality, but they'll never do it in my Moment. I say stupid **** so much they probably got a ton. Plus they can fabricate anything they want, literally. I used to be untamed chaos barely in coherence. Now in the manner of two years I went from a gamer trolling on x in his downtime to what I've become for now. And wow that's a lot of self references, Jesus I gotta work on that tbh. πŸ₯² I'm my own biggest fan

Then the record caught up with him. Between 2022 and 2023, Donalds and his spouse made over 100 stock trades valued up to $1.6 million without filing the periodic transaction reports required by the STOCK Act. Campaign Legal CenterCampaign Legal Center The number, precisely, was at least 108 trades in dozens of companies, ranging in total value from $108,108 to $1,620,000. Campaign Legal Center HE DIDN'T DISCLOSE THEM IN REAL TIME. The trades only surfaced in annual filings submitted in August 2023 and August 2024 β€” more than a year after most of the transactions occurred. That delay isn't a technicality. The STOCK Act exists so voters can watch for conflicts of interest as they happen, not a year later. And the timing here raises real questions. Donalds sits on the House Financial Services Committee, and some of his trades were in companies that committee oversees, including Elevance Health and JPMorgan Chase. In September 2024, the nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center filed a formal ethics complaint asking the Office of Congressional Ethics to investigate. CLC argued that because Donalds understood the STOCK Act's requirements better than most lawmakers, there's reason to believe the omissions weren't accidental. AOL The irony is hard to miss.
