Josa Keyes (@JosaKeyes) reported from Ealing, England@Miss_Snuffy Self pity finds many friends online from the earliest days of community forums up to today's toxic social media. "Share your support" we used to say at AOL and people did and lots was valuable, but a deep streak of 'alternative truth' bedded down there too to solicit attention.

#iheartMichaeljackson (@Sassy_Diva_2487) reported@AOL We don’t care, @AOL. Nobody with a functioning brain and a Spotify playlist cares. The world collectively decided years ago that Michael Jackson is untouchable, the allegations were a clown show, and you sad, jobless click-farm goblins are still out here recycling the same dusty script like it’s 2005 and people still trust you. Newsflash: they don’t. The King left the building, left the ranch, left the haters in the dirt, and his legacy is doing victory laps while you beg for engagement with “shocking” headlines that wouldn’t shock a houseplant. Touch some grass. Stream some Thriller. Or better yet, get a real job instead of farming MJ drama for pennies. The people have spoken: MJ forever, your pathetic “gotcha” content never. Stay irrelevant. 🖕

The Great Gazoo (@flight2q3211) reported@firstadopter The deal makes total sense to me. Arbitrageurs putting deal likelihood above 50% of going through. Can only make sense to compare to AOL X Time Warner if you think one of FOX or Roku has a bad destiny coming. FOX pays about 6% interest on debt.
-
Goebz (@Raptor_RUD) reported@SpaceX service is hands down a nerd's dream. At 37 years old, having gone from getting an AOL disk at the Grand Union to 300+ Mbps from space tickles me in a way my wife can’t.
-
FOOHAHA (@ArtieLeecock) reported@MrDavidAngelo Like trying too cancel AOL back in the day
-
Bharat Hegde (@hvbharat) reported@ThierryBorgeat Are the shareholders and board of cursor stupid to accept it? They’re accepting because they’re also not worth $60 billion in cash. This is like time warner aol merger. Some jokes write themselves..

Gary Dauphin (@GeeDeezyDauphin) reported@TTrimoreau Anyone remember Apple's EWorld? It was Apple's attempt to gain some of the profits from the internet craze. I told them it would fail. It ended up being a year and half late, and was still just a rebranded version of AOL online. It folded shortly after being released.
