CompuServe when I first got online in 1995, MSN Messenger, the very occasional foray into Usenet. Tried AOL, ICQ, a few others. But never enjoyed them. Had both AIM and Yahoo Meseenger But only very rarely used them.

@FinnPower70 Running a social network is HARD. I worked at AOL, kinda worked at Myspace (my first remote job). Trust me, I’m sure everyone he knows in software said “seriously you don’t want this in your life”. Nothing hollows you out about people quite like working at one.

@EBischoff Eric they don't understand that the discovery merger could not be good for wrestling. Not many understand what happened with AOL Time Warner I do because I've read all those stupid books and then I read the only good book by Guy Evans

@AOLSupportHelp You guys have essentially locked me out of an account i've used actively for the past 20 years. I know my password and I have 2 step verification on. I tried to call for help and you have the nerve to try to charge someone to access their account when it's an issue on your end.

I'm still trying to figure out how to log into my AOL I own. From the time they messaged me talking ****. It was an automatic judgement on neglect. You even have to provide it. I can sue you in that.

@queuebit @cgenco yeah, that's probably possible... they often follow similar patterns like: first-name number @ aol or yahoo (sometimes gmail) then worst case I just ask a real person to confirm...

@DrHistoryBrad We met on AOL in Nov of 1999. We talked for a couple of weeks. His laugh is what drew me to him. He sent me a horrible picture of himself. When we met in person I was surprised by how much better looking he was. I had just turned 30. We’ve been together ever since.
