CompuServe when I first got online in 1995, MSN Messenger, the very occasional foray into Usenet. Tried AOL, ICQ, a few others. But never enjoyed them. Had both AIM and Yahoo Meseenger But only very rarely used them.

@liampowersjr @NorthmanTrader @Tesla Fully agree by the way, Tesla is strange, but I think some of this isn't just cars but their battery technology....never understood it myself. Never understood AOL time Warner, even wrote a paper on it for my MBA and got the lowest mark out of all my papers.

@BowTiedBull so from failing to curve their infra cost, we know their management sucks. Unless Brian Armstrong nuke their management and build it from the ground up, I don't think they can curve their expense. Probly end up like AOL, great engineers, horrible management

@HellBentVet This type of bull crap has had historical reality for as long as we’ve had social platforms. People hide behind keyboards/monitors. Lies & manipulation were big in AOL chat rooms, My Space, etc. My advice to all: be wary, guard your heart & sign off once in a while.

@alexeheath @richburroughs When I was at @aol, I had to fill out a weekly report of what I worked on - broken into 15 minute intervals. They got really mad when I noted it took 60 minutes a week to create said report.
