Can safely say that @AOL @aolmail @AOLSupportHelp have proved to have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No way of contacting other than email, no acknowledgement that Mail account can’t be accessed, no way of resetting password. No help at all. Disgusting.

@Cook_Estates @AOLSupportHelp At least I'm not the only one, was just on point of thumping laptop in frustration. 🙄 So will remain calm, now I know it's not problem at my end.

Back in the AOL days I could hang out in the baseball chat rooms all evening. Now, I make one comment in on a post, just playim around & people get all fuggin serious & lecturey 🙄

@jukan05 I read the beginning of this and knew it’s garbage, written with a conclusion in mind and fillers to get there. Comparing token value to internet subscription is ludicrous. The value of the internet obv is beyond the freaking $50 you paid AOL or whatever ISP. The same for mobile

  • FirstDeployAI
    WhiteFlour (@FirstDeployAI) reported

@2whazzuup My mother still has an AOL email, so no, it will never die.

@TylerW35386 I learned grammar in AOL metal chat - but I never hung out with any of those people...

  • RobertKidd0x
    Robert (@RobertKidd0x) reported

I'm old enough to remember the days when people said the internet would never catch on and just be a fad. Look how far we've come from dial-up and AOL. We're at a similar beginning now with AI. When change is unavoidable, you have to embrace it, if you are to survive.

Which email service would you choose as your primary email in 2026? Outlook Proton Mail Gmail Yahoo Mail iCloud Mail Zoho Mail AOL Mail

@TommyO1947 And every body posted pictures on face book too So who is to blame, the consumer. They kept posting stuff on the lives, and leaving updates at default. Man followed right off the pier. AOL for a while all were using it. Then the discovery of FTP lmao No more chatting in public, we built are own room and games too. And not one American can go without that comm unit for a week All seem naked without, there is a problem. Powerless over that or the next follower post. GodRocks Crazy

Would be sweet for him to turn up at the AOL to sign up and we tell him we’re sorted already and **** him off back to France at five to eleven.

@Google requiring you to scan a QR code on your own phone to login is probably the least helpful technology in existence. Yes, it gives you “other options” though those rarely work without you doing it 5-6 times. They need to fix that or YMail or AOL is beginning to sound better.
