  Can safely say that @AOL @aolmail @AOLSupportHelp have proved to have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No way of contacting other than email, no acknowledgement that Mail account can’t be accessed, no way of resetting password. No help at all. Disgusting.

  @AOLSupportHelp Hi AOL, we are having terrible speed /connection problems and we have switched router on and off. How do we get this rectified,. My wife's trying to work from home and it's causing no end of problems. Cheers Phil

  @benjedwards school library had a dial-up modem (probably 9600 baud) to ISP through school district. At home was local ISP as AOL/Compuserve/etc. never had local numbers for me.

  @theikigaiguy @amazon Yep, same thing day after day. And history will repeat. A company thinks it’s infallible, but lose one customer here another there. And it adds up. Before long they become Sears, Kmart and AOL. IMO; They will end up splitting shopping and prime off eventually.

  In June 2000 a room of shareholders raised their hands and approved the worst deal in corporate history. The price tag was $120,000,000,000. Two years later the combined company wrote down about $99,000,000,000 in a single year. That number is larger than the annual output of most countries. By 2009 the two halves were separated again, and the pieces were worth a fraction of what they carried in. Every analyst covering the deal called it visionary. The vote took minutes.
