Shocking service from @curryspcworld today - waited in for 6.5hrs for a dishwasher that never turned up. Two different stories from the driver, both of which were crap. Now ordered with @AOL who will hopefully do a better job on Tuesday 👍🏻

@DeeTwoCents @Meta I went thru this too, I created a new email account on AOL and that's how I finally got thru. Every password I could think of didn't work they kept saying a code was being sent and I never received it until I created a new email address

Back to the Future 3 came out in 1990 and I find it absolutely WILD that only six years later I was on AOL fighting and debating the films with other BTTF nerds. Damn. What a time.

@alex_shephard I remember when I was on the development team for Compuserve’s (failed obviously) assault on AOL in 1996 all the design people had Macs and the edit people had PCs and I thought that was wack. I hold JF in high esteem but I’ve never bought a PC

there's a lot going on in this story, but among other things, the Letters editor must have been like "hey journalist, we got a letter from a self-identified teenager who wants to **** you, here's their personal AOL email address if you want to follow up"
