I use to write a lot in my teens. I remember firing up Word 97 and typing down my thoughts and saving them all in floppy discs that I got free from AOL 💾 「1.44MB」. I'd just wipe them clean and save 😅. I wish I knew where those discs went. I need to get back into writing. 📝

I love Apple products and always will but I crack up when a new iOS comes out and they change like the size of the font in the draft folder of your aol email that dates 1995 and earlier and people lose their shit thinking it’s genius will.

@CenturyLinkHelp @CenturyLink New and maybe shortterm customer here. Internet went down and no customer service until Monday to fix it? What is this 1995 and I ran out of AOL hours? Wow So Sad

@NostalgicProd78 @MutinyWrestling Uploading to C4S is way easier than Gumroad. Gumroad to me is as bad as AOL was in the 1990s. Also there’s no organization on Gumroad. #SayNoToGumRoad

@JustMakingIt22 @PrintPaintShoot We have reached peak stupid. It went real quick on the human timeline from the aol “welcome” to “I’m going to doxx you and then totally try to get you to murder me in your driveway, don’t even know you but I hate your face even though I’ve never seen it”in less than 2 decades.

I created a crap load of free AOL accts back in the day, it’s this simple: anyone can create countless free email accts that can create any acct on any platform. Saying you use “age dating” is ridiculous. Any prsn who’s been on the internet 5 mins knows this. @tiktok_us

@AverageSamue1 Here's the thing. Change Herc, cool. I'd use CGR to blast through the content. Then it's a CGR problem. Then a Kitty, etc. They had revive farming because they make content that has always required tons of revives. AoL, LoL, Carina's, Grandmaster, etc. It's a cash grab.

@EddieZipperer AOL was ok, but IRC was where it was at. If you hadn't been slapped with a large trout by a person you'd never met but were somehow closer to than people in your actual physical vicinity, were you even living?

@CameraCourt I think my points would go down actually. I think I have used a rotary phone (we used to have one upstairs when I was a kid) and we did have floppy disks so maybe I've used one? I was never into MySpace or AOL either. Wasn't my thing. And I guess today's version still isn't. ;)
