    I use to write a lot in my teens. I remember firing up Word 97 and typing down my thoughts and saving them all in floppy discs that I got free from AOL ๐Ÿ’พ ใ€Œ1.44MBใ€. I'd just wipe them clean and save ๐Ÿ˜…. I wish I knew where those discs went. I need to get back into writing. ๐Ÿ“

    @CenturyLinkHelp @CenturyLink New and maybe shortterm customer here. Internet went down and no customer service until Monday to fix it? What is this 1995 and I ran out of AOL hours? Wow So Sad

    I love Apple products and always will but I crack up when a new iOS comes out and they change like the size of the font in the draft folder of your aol email that dates 1995 and earlier and people lose their shit thinking itโ€™s genius will.

    @ModifiedVirus I feel like I'm too old for that, is 37 too old to start a new form technology lol I've never used omegle or chat roulette either. Just reminds me of AOL chat or something like along those lines.

    @cliftonaduncan I am a little younger than you so I never had this experience. By middle school everyone was on AOL and sending instant messages. I am sad that I didn't experience a tech free childhood.

    In this town, in a Red state, we can't get internet unless you get it from the local land line telephone company. I'm not spending the money on dial up. Thank goodness for Data that is sketchy at best. AOL was bad enough... 30+ years ago! Can we move forward please??

    @Cernovich The internet is so different than when we were kids. We had a like a little status on aol/yahoo and just a chat. The real issue is the lack of parent and child education on algorithms and content moderation of parents (at a certain point Iโ€™m assuming the kids gotta get a screen)
