I use to write a lot in my teens. I remember firing up Word 97 and typing down my thoughts and saving them all in floppy discs that I got free from AOL 💾 「1.44MB」. I'd just wipe them clean and save 😅. I wish I knew where those discs went. I need to get back into writing. 📝

I love Apple products and always will but I crack up when a new iOS comes out and they change like the size of the font in the draft folder of your aol email that dates 1995 and earlier and people lose their shit thinking it’s genius will.

The amount of spam @gmail is letting in is ridiculous. Whoever is marketing and sending to a (clearly fake) @AOL.com address is beating their spam filter left and right. Piss poor job @Google i expected better from a service that can machine learn who I regularly speak to & about

@AOLSupportHelp I've done everything I know how to do to get my AOL mail to work properly using my Gmail app. For some reason, emails just sit in my Outbox as "queued" and never get sent. Phone is fully connected an no other issues. Help??

@femmebot @Firr IN NAME AT LEAST, YEAH- WE WERE TAKING SUPPORT CALLS FOR AOL AND NETSCAPE ONLINE BY THE TIME I LEFT THE SOFTWARE WAS REBRANDED "COMPUSERVE CLASSIC", AND THE NEW STUFF WAS AOL WITH THE COMPUSERVE LOGO ON IT I USED TO HAVE A COMPUSERVE 2000 SHIRT. I MISS THAT THING, IT WAS COMFY

I was trying to watch some of my favorite conspiracy theorists on Bitchute via my Amazon Firestick on my tv. It brought me back to the old AOL days of non-stop buffering. I don't have that problem watching on my computer. Interesting.
