@PhillyMike My best friend worked in one of the towers. Luckily he went to work later than most people. There was no cell service that day so the only way to finally communicate with him was via AOL IM lol

@mollyfletcher13 @AOL Support wasn’t helpful when I was hacked until someone recommended me to ethical_hacker199 on Instagram who recovered my account in less than an hour. He’s genius, you try to give him a text on Instagram.

20 years ago i was sitting next to my cousin using our aol dial up. she said "yay the internet connected" and then immediately after "aaliyah died...." i'll never forget. i was so happy. and then so sad.

@chowcollection Still locked down for covid-35 now. I’m broke after putting everything into Bitcoin. Then to only have it become obsolete. Regretting not buying crypto that actually has utility and scalability. BTC is like AOL. It got everyone in the space but couldn’t scale up as needed
