F’ing on point! Our internet with them is so slow it reminds me of AOL when it first came out. Every time I complain they blame it on invisible employees working feverishly on invisible equipment, towers, whatever. We also can’t use internet for an hour twice a day: once when the high school across the street from us starts school and once when it lets out because of the 240 students on their phones!

  • divinethree333 Lion of Judah (@divinethree333) reported

I remember consistently loading XRP between .25-.35 in blocks of 20k. I knew what this was as it felt like I was buying Amazon, AOL or Yahoo before the 2000 bull run. Ill admit though that it felt like we were never going to move up as we sat at the .25-.35 levels for years. I remember getting shunned every time I mentioned XRP to somebody but a few people did listen. The ones that did are grateful and they’re good people.

  • Over_De_River Dixie_Cola_Pentagon (@Over_De_River) reported

@vinquezada1 I started out on BBS (Bulletin Board Service) then I went to Prodigy, CompuServe,AOL, IDT, MediaOne, and have been on Verizon FIOS since. I even ran my own BBS using XtreeGold.

  • GregMozart Greg Magarshak (@GregMozart) reported

@Se7enball @tea_party_james @RockChartrand The Internet was based on open protocols. So was the Web. HTTP was an open protocol. AOL and MSN were walled gardens, like X and Facebook. Their owners would never allow Amazon, Facebook, Google etc. to be launched inside, they would copy them and/or try to kill them!
