    My little sister just graduated from AOL and I was never a fan of the school because the other kids were always out of pocket. I have no idea how she did it all those years.

    @HNTurtledove Was actually on the Q-Link service which preceded AOL back in the late 80s. They shippped me a 300 baud modem to plug into the back of my Commodore 64. Spent most of the time playing trivia and chess. It was glorious

    @saradietschy I used to watch Windows Update downloads to make sure a phone call didn’t didn’t disconnect my AOL dial up connection. I could watch a progress bar all day. And i have. Never an upload though. 😕
